Would definitely recommend you find another company. We acquired a leak and they said they would fix it but kept blaming it on my chimney. Definitely wish we went with a different company. Please do your research before you hire this company. Now I have to pay to replace the water damage and now need to replace part of my roof .

They don't connect any venting when they re-roof your home! I would have rated this company a 0 if google had that option.

A little more than a year after they re-roofed my parents home in Lawton, Pippin Brothers were replacing the gas water heater when they found that neither the water heater nor the HVAC venting was connect to the vent cap on the roof. When I called Salazar Roofing, it took me calling 2 times and waiting a few days for someone to respond. I was told by one of their employees that the contract says, "it is the homeowners responsibility to ensure the vents are reconnected, and they are not licensed to do work in the attic." AT NO TIME DID ANYONE EVER mentioned this to my parents, and they are too old to climb into an attic and walk around on the rafters. What their statement really means is, we don't check the work behind our cheap labor that gets paid far less than they should, and the guys doing the work could care less if someone dies from carbon monoxide poisoning.

My recommendations based of this experience:
1. Don't use Salazar roofing for ANYTHING!!!
2. Read the fine print when having your roof replaced
3. Not only walk your roof to ensure the work is done correctly on top, but ensure someone looks in the attic to ensure the work is done correctly on the underside.

CRIMINALS!!

Salazar Roofing replaced our roof after we sustained damage in the severe storm last spring. We are very pleased with the job they did. They are a local company, had excellent communication, came when they said they would, completed the work efficiently, and cleaned up very well. After the roofers left, I didn't find a single stray nail around our property.

We were MOST impressed with our representative, Danny Crotts. In our opinion, Danny went above and beyond. He helped us navigate pushback we received from the insurance company and really stayed on them to help us get as much as we could toward the replacement cost. He was patient, flexible, and honest. We trusted him very much.

I highly recommend Salazar Roofing and I would work with them again in a heartbeat... although I do hope it's years and years before I have a need to. :-)

Called them about a week ago to get an estimate on my two skylights and the lady in the office assigned Jim to me, took Jim a day or so to call and left a message for me to call him back. I called Jim back and left message after message with no response. Called the lady in the office to find out what the problem was and she stated that they were very busy (Funny when I had them do a $24000.00 roof for me a few years back, they were here before I hung up, js ) any hoot called Superior Roofing By All-Pro today and got a quote and scheduled the work. Salazar Roofing don't give a flip in helping you out unless you're spending a butt load of money. I will never use nor recommend Salazar Roofing again.

Came out finally after I made the 2nd appointment, gave me a quote, promise to call me back with more info and once again nothing so I just assume since it not an insurance claim I am not a priority or of great importance so I guess I'll move on and not beg them to take my money!

In May 2019In May 2019 we hired Salazar Roofing and construction to replace the roofing and siding on our house due to storm damage. During the initial phase working with the Salesman, Preston out of the Lawton office, he tells us that we will get vinyl siding, instead of the Steel siding that is currently on the house. We are told it is because it is too expensive and the insurance company does not pay enough to replace it. That should have been a red flag to us right there. Our insurance company would have covered the additional cost if the cost they estimated to replace the steel siding (that was already on the house) with steel siding, they would have required a supplemental. I am fairly confident that Preston was well aware of this, he knew to submit a supplemental to cover a lift to be used for installing the siding.
The contract that is provided by Salazar and signed by the salesperson and the homeowner is vague enough that the home owner really doesn’t know what they are getting as far as materials. But in the end there is a statement that states that management must approve what is in the contract. The invoice that we were provided at the end of the job does not give a breakdown of what kind of siding was put on the house, it also does not break down how the money paid is allocated to each portion of the job. The company they hired to replace the siding was worthless, and I would not have hired them out right to change a towel. After 4.5 weeks, and after receiving a picture of what I was told to be his foot, where he had stepped on a nail, I asked Gary to get another contractor out to finish the siding. He wouldn’t and asked for me to give him until that weekend to finish. Miraculously the contractor had no problem walking when he showed up Saturday to finish the job. Finally at the end of august it is complete. The siding was up, but there were problems. When we brought our concerns up to Gary, my husband and I were yelled at, as if the issues brought up were our fault. When we questioned the sub-contractors actual ability to do the siding job we were told that that company had all the necessary proof that he knew what he was doing with siding. We were even told that there was a recording of me saying we were completely satisfied with the job. He couldn’t produce the recording. I will give Gary a small amount of credit, he did come out and look and acknowledge that there were problems, he would have someone come out and fix the problems and had gutters put on our front porch. Primarily I believe because the contractor removed the wood holders for gutters. He also provided an 8 year labor warranty. The more I have needed to request problems be requested the harder it gets to get a response from anyone. We have had them out at a minimum of 5 times to fix the same parts that keep falling off, If they had used the appropriate material (ie steel siding) like they were paid for, I do not believe I would be experiencing these problems. When the wind blows, you can watch the siding “breath” as the wind circulates through it. We have been waiting for them to come fix the areas where siding has fallen off since September, we are now being ignored by the main office, and flat out lied to when someone does make the mistake and answer our calls.

When friends ask, I tell them not to hire Salazar roofing and construction for ANYTHING. They are great while you hold the check and the job is still in the process, after that good luck –

We have used Salazar several times and found them to be very good at what they do. Always friendly, professional and an outstanding job. It only took them 1 day to complete my roof. They cleaned their mess up and even had a magnet to search for loose nails in the yard and driveway. I would highly recommend Salazar for roofing needs.
