We just had a fireplace installed ..they were fast ..professional..courteous ..couldn't ask for a better company to work with . We just can't decide who loves it more us or the cats

We had Safe Home Fireplace come to the house today for an overdue chimney sweeping in Camlachie. Joe was super professional and gave us good pointers for our fireplace upkeep. He was in and out in no time and kept it as clean as possible. I would highly recommend Safe Home for their level of service and professionalism.

We had a great experience with safe home from picking out our wood stove to the installation and even help with financing very highly recommended if your looking for wood or gas wood stove.

The entire process was so easy, in fact my husband and I commented on how this was the easiest update we ever done in our house. The showroom is lovely and Sara was really helpful. We received calls and guidance throughout the whole process and the people who installed the fireplace were timely and clean. When the weather turns cool, we can’t wait to use our new fireplace.

I am spending this winter on my couch, in my PJs, infront of my amazing new gas fireplace from Safe Home Fireplace! My living room is always cold and now it will be cozy. Staff came and measured my space, recommended a custom surround to balance on the original brick (and it was nearly the same price as going with the standard surround!) My new gas stove is great. Safe home gave me great options and worked with me to install the stove how I wanted. Safe Home is excellent for fire places & they sell BBQs as well.

We were making a large purchase(to us) and Safe Home was great. The owner came to our home several times to make sure he understood our needs and situation. Sara researched all of my options to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and was so so patient with me as I didn't even know what I wanted!!! She kept going even when I gave up. Her customer service is top notch. They answered all of our questions with confidence and skill. In the end, we have the most spectacular triple sided glass natural wood fireplace. It is truly beautiful.

I'm very pleased with my new wood stove. I went with the salesman's knowledgeable recommendations, and the house heats up easily and efficiently. It's not often that a contractor leaves me 100% satisfied - but Safe Home did. They even fixed up a previous contractor's sub par job patching a hole in the chimney!

Our experience with safe home fireplaces was excellent. We ordered a gas fireplace for our backyard reno and it looks great. From the initial ordering of the product to the quick turn around for delivery I was impressed. From the product to the sales staff everything was great and more importantly went smoothly. I’’m in sales and hate BS so this was refreshing. They even reached out to see how I like it (thanks Sara). I would recommend them not only if you want a good product but also if you want things done in a timely manner.

Very, very impressed with all aspects of this company. I had to delay my appointment a few times because my flooring and brickwork wasn’t finished yet and they were happy to accommodate my needs. Matt answered all my technical questions about the unit and was also available when needed. Mike and Vitaly were the professionals that installed the fireplace. Everything looks absolutely perfect and i was amazed at their attention to detail. They put down drop cloths before starting the work and left my house cleaner than it was before they showed up! I would give 10 stars to this company if i could.

I recently purchased a cottage in Bayfield Ontario.
Upon inspection, noticed that the gas fireplace had been disconnected. (disconnected wires on back of unit)
So I called SafeHome and interacted via email with Matt and then Joanne.
Because the unit was manufactured in 2000 I thought that it would need to be replaced. Matt says, " lets try to fix it! " Sure enough, the technician came out and vacuum/clean it out, and the unit now works perfectly!
I've since learned that a new replacement unit would have been 5k!
My thanks and praise for this company's professionalism and integrity. During these times I could have easily been taken advantage of...

I had a technician out to clean my chimney and he was absolutely amazing, not only did he do a fantastic job of cleaning it but he answered all my questions about how to properly build fires which has made all the difference. I wont be going anywhere else and I would highly recommend them.

Had a wood stove and a new stovepipe installed in my shop. Matt came out and gave me an estimate that I had by email the next day. We agreed on the price and scheduled the installation. Stove and pipe was installed on the set date by very professional, and pleasant installers.
Overall I'm very pleased with the results!

They cleaned up after themselves and even showed me how the remote worked. They forgot a part for venting but had it to me with in a few days...

Was referred here by a friend after a much less than optimal, high pressure salesman-porcine experience. Safe Home Fireplace were very competitive in price, efficient in installation, courteous, safe (in the COVID sense) and the finished product has transformed our rarely visited den into "the" place my wife and I relax on a snowy evening. Very highly recommended!

From the very first inquiry phone call, to the showroom visit, site consult and installation, the entire process was very professional, and yet never felt like there was pressure to purchase their product. Matt came over to do site inspection and answer any questions prior to our purchase. He spent a great deal of time at our house and walked us through everything very thoroughly. Matt made a second visit to help me through my amateur framing project. It was obvious that Safe Home was very customer oriented and would take care of every detail. We would use them again in a heartbeat! We had Matt and his team install a wood fire place insert in our home in September 2020. Matt attended on-site for consultation prior to installation. He was very knowledgeable and provided great advice. We went with the insert he recommended and we're 100% happy with it.

We purchased a cook woodstove and a gas fireplace from Safe Home Fireplace and are totally pleased with the service that they provided for us. They were prompt, did what they said they would do and did it when they said they would. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Many years ago, we needed someone urgently to clean our chimney. The company who supplied the fireplace, and who also did the annual chimney sweep earlier that year, would not venture out onto our new metal roof in the winter. They simply left us with a 'do not use your wood stove' response. I contacted Safe Home Fireplace and they were out to the house right away and fixed the problem. Ever since then, they have earned all our business. In addition to the annual maintenance, they replaced our propane fireplace, along with new stonework, mantel, and hearth. This fall we have just had our wood stove replaced by Safe Home fireplace, and we are thrilled with it. I would highly recommend Safe Home Fireplace.

I purchased one of the personal pizza ovens from Ooni from them and there was one part missing from the originally sealed box. Matt and the team were quick to address this issue by issuing a warranty claim with their supplier and having the missing part shipped to me in no time. Great service! Superb attention to detail on the installation job. We had a rather complicated install that required near surgical cutting into the surrounding stone in order for the fireplace to fit flush and the installer took his time to do a lovely job. The NEO 1.6 Wood Insert is easy to light and generates just enough heat for the 400 sq. feet we need without the blower ever being turned on.

Bought my first wood insert from them a few years ago. Excellent service all along the way from install to yearly cleanings.

The first time we met Matt at the Delaware store they were actually closed for renovations. He let us in and answered all our questions without any sales pitch of any kind.When we finally got our permit to build almost a year later and after many visits to other fireplace shops we returned to make our purchase in Strathroy. As promised their price was well below the bigger city competitors for the same Marquis Bentley. The installation was seamless and the fireplace itself perfect for a large open concept house. Our experience with both Matt and David has been nothing but professional.

I do not know the circumstances of the negative review other than what I have read here. I find it difficult if not impossible to accept that the reviewer is writing about this company.

I'd highly recommend Safe Home Fireplace. Matt, who came out to do a service on our fireplace was a great guy, worked efficiently and paid close attention to detail in order to get it all right.

I was smelling a gas-like smell when I'd turn on my fireplace, which is well over 10 years old. Even though Safe Home didn't install this Fireplace they were quick to come out, take a look, and explain what had happened (a seal had worn out because it was not replaced/serviced properly from the previous owner).

Our fireplace is running an looking awesome--better than the day we moved in.

I cannot believe the rating that some have given this retailer. If I could possibly give this dealer no stars that would be generous. I have received poor service after the sale to the point that he was outright rude and unprofessional in our correspondence telling me to make a decision and get on with my life.

What I am left with now is a stove that was sold to me as a "Showroom burn model" that I have now found out from Pacific Energy was sold to an individual, used and abused, and then returned to a dealer due to a poor chimney. After receiving the stove I have had to replace the EBT gasket because unbeknownst to me the previous owner removed it (Pacific Energy has never had to sell one to date and asked why it was needed). The window seal was replaced before I got it letting in air (again unbeknownst to me). I have been fighting with this stove for the years that I have had it and burned through multiple secondary burn baffles. It just wouldn't stay in control with all the air leaks.
Now I have a stove with over-fire cracks in it due to not being able to control it. Pacific Energy will not honour any warranty because I am not the first owner. I was led to believe that I was the first owner and now that I realize that I am not I have no warranty. The dealers answer to this was to get a welder off of a kijiji ad to fix it (no certification required).

Beware if this dealer sells you a "Showroom burn model" that in fact it isn't but rather a warranty return model that has likely been abused, and his answer will be to get an un-certified individual to fix all the problems.

His final recommendation was for me to weld it up and sell it off to some other unsuspecting soul. I couldn't do it, I just have morals I guess.

Accuses individuals of habitually leaving bad reviews. Lied on his rebuttal to this review and to the BBB. Apparently he isn't beyond shady business practices no matter what the issue.

Once it was uncovered that the stove that he sold me was a warranty return stove from another dealer he stated that he didn't know the history of the stove and was disappointed with his supplier and that I should deal with them instead of him.

Stove was used as best it could considering it was a warranty return that should have gone back to the manufacturer. This company didn't even so much as inspect the stove prior to reselling it and advertising that it was burned in their store. Lies.

Safe Home Fireplace as habitually lied to me, to the BBB and no doubt to the courts when this issue is seen by a judge. Suit yourself if you want to deal with such a shady business that is willing to do whatever it takes to make a buck, even if it is at your and your families safety.

Blames me for misfiring the stove. Sold it with no EBT gasket. It must have been removed by the previous owner (once I found out it was a warranty return). Window gasket had been replaced extremely poorly letting in air. Of course Safe Home Fireplace will blame me for abusing the stove. Tough not to do when you get sold an item that is defective. If this was a new showroom burn model it would have been covered as a manufacturer defect.
