Rosales Waterproofing LLC

I met with Rufino to discuss the best way to keep water out of my crawlspace in the future. He said that the best way is to install a drainage system within my crawlspace, which I already have. My goal is to keep water from entering the crawlspace and use the drainage system (French drains with sump pump and backup battery) as a backup to remove water if there’s intrusion.

He told me that my existing drainage system within my crawlspace was not installed properly because standing water was still present. I went in there myself to verify and it was completely dry in there.

He also said that my drainage system isn’t working properly because it’s not completely drying out the crawlspace and that if he installed the same system it would be completely dry in there. That’s not physically possible without completely encapsulating the crawlspace and adding a dehumidifier, which is not what he was implying.

He was going to charge me $11,000 to install the same system I currently have which is more than double what I paid to install the initial system, which is working properly up to this point.

Rufino lied to me about the crawlspace being wet and claimed that he could make it completely dry with just a French drain system. It felt like he was trying to make me worry so he could get the job. I highly recommend that you look somewhere else for someone more honest.

I am not dissatisfied with the initial install of my drainage system. I wanted additional protection from water intrusion to mitigate the humidity in the living space above. Provide me with the photos of the standing water so I can post it on this review.

Rosales Waterproofing company was very professional, trustworthy, diligent, excellent are a few words that come to mind. I was referred by a friend and was extremely pleased with our out.come. They went above and beyond to address my erosion and water pooling on yard. They also graded and added French drain with several under ground pipes. The cherry on top was the wonderful marble rock island in flower beds and 2 retainer walls after graded area for vegetable garden. My wild yard was tamed and shrubs trimmed to perfection. Reliable and honest. I did not use their service, I but was provided a good assessment of my problem without being pressured.

We are in the business of rehabbing homes. We're working on a house that was routinely getting water in the crawl space, as much as 21 inches. We called a couple other companies but didn't have the confidence in their recommendations. We then called Rosales Waterproofing. The owner himself, Rufino, came out to assess the problem. Rufino not only explained what the issue was, but showed me. I became confident he knew what he was talking about. We agreed upon a price and he gave me the start date. He said it would take approximately 1 week to complete the work. He and his guys came on the day and time promised. To my surprise they completed the work in only 4 days. We've had rain since their work and the crawl space is bone dry. Additionally, they cleaned the entire crawl space of all debris, I consider this over-and-above what they agreed to do. I would highly recommend Rosales Waterprooofing.

The only other thing I can think to do is add pictures and let anyone reading this know again, Rosales Waterproofing is excellent, amazing, high quality, and the scope of their good works go far beyond waterproofing (11/12/22).
Adding to my previous review, I consider Rosales Waterproofing as a multi service company. Moving forward, for anything I need to have done at my house, I am calling them first. If it's not a service they cover, then I will call someone else. With the blessed help they have provided me beyond waterproofing, I know their expertise is vast. I am very grateful for them. Now here is my previous review. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This is the biggest job I've had done at my house. God sent the very best people to help me. Rufino and Family are of good character and operate in the most excellent way. I did not understand the depth and scope of waterproofing, until I met these caring experts. Highly recommend! I needed a new outdoor sump pump installed in my backyard. I contacted several companies, and Rosales Waterproofing was by far the most responsive. Mr. Rosales was also the most knowledgeable. He came by and did a thorough inspection of my backyard, presented me with several different options, and helped to troubleshoot the options with me. I had *a lot* of questions, and he answered all of them. I really appreciated that! His rates were also pretty competitive and much cheaper than some of the bigger named companies. He was a little booked so I had to wait about 2 weeks for him to start the work, but they arrived on time and finished the project within one day. For what it’s worth, I waited about three weeks to post this review— so far it’s working as intended and looks good. Mr. Rosales is incredibly responsive and helpful. And he really prides himself in making sure his family owned company does an excellent job. I definitely recommend and will be using them again if I have waterproofing needs!

Mr. Rosales was very professional and knowledgeable. He recognized the issue right away and provided detailed information of what needed to be done. I was totally satisfied, very responsible and honest.

All the storms and rain this summer exposed a bad leak in our basement. I selected Rosales and a few other companies to come out and offer a quote on making the repairs to the basement wall and foundation. Rufino came out quickly. He competently assessed and clearly explained what needed to be done. I liked his thoughtful approach to getting the water away from the house and waterproofing the walls/basement. Once I reviewed the quotes and scheduled the work, Rufino got things scheduled quickly--in less than one week... He and his team spent most of two days tireless working-digging down to the foundation, waterproofing, laying out the drainage pipes, and grading the landscape. The team also worked very quietly! I was able to work at home without much of any loud construction sounds. Rufino and team also preserved the existing landscaping--digging up plants and moving landscaping rock, then returning everything to its original state once finished. I am awaiting the next heavy rain storm confidently, with the knowledge that even if we find a problem, Rosales Waterproofing offers a 10 year warranty on their outside waterproofing work, which is very impressive. I expect to have a clean, dry basement from now on thanks to Rosales Waterproofing!

Of the three waterproofing companies that I spoke with, Rosales Waterproofing LLC was the best company hands down! The company did exactly what they claimed.
