I was having a problem with a woodpecker that had been hammering away near my roof and I was concerned it was tearing up the roof since I couldn't see any damage to the siding and the spot it was hammering at was just outside of my view from down on the ground. Gary came by and was able to confirm that there was no damage, giving me great peace of mind. He also helped me out with taking down the likely culprit, a satellite dish that had been put up there by the previous homeowners right above the master bedroom and even helped go the extra mile by helping to install one of those lifelike owl statues up there to make that woodpecker think twice about giving us his jarring wake-up calls. So far so good, today was the first morning I didn't wake up to the blood pressure skyrocketing machine-gun sound of the woodpecker next to my window. Thank you so much!

We used Girard Roofing to repair some post-storm damage to our roof and general wear and tear. Gary was timely (and in some cases early), clearly explained services necessary, and completed the job in the promised time frame. Highly recommend and if we need to, will use Gary again.

I contacted Mr. Girard to remove a satellite dish from my roof and patch/repair the shingles under it. He also resealed my roof vents. He arrived on time, the price charges was reasonable, and while on the roof, he inspected it for any other issues which he fixed. I would recommend him for any roof repairs you may need.

I found Gary from a Nextdoor neighbor. I called him today and he came right away. He was very knowledgeable of his business. He repair 13 nail holes we had around the roof. Some of those holes were causing leaks. I like his company provides warranty for his work.

I contacted Girard Roofing for an estimate to replace some vent boots that were leaking and remove an unneeded exhaust vent. They came out the very next day, reviewed the work with me, and provided an estimate on the spot. I had already talked with a few other companies so I made the decision then to proceed with Girard. I just had a roof put on by Girard Roofing on a rental home I have in the Snellville area. I could not be more pleased with the price of the job, and the top notch service. Mr. Girard is an absolute honest and hardworking guy! We had called him to come out and fix several leaks on our roof and our skylight. While he was assessing our roof, he took several pictures to show me what was causing the leaks. Unfortunately for us, he felt that our roof really needed to be replaced. I really appreciated that instead of just trying to get what money he could out of us doing a temporary fix, he was honest with us about the real solution we needed. 2018: Gary did fantastic work on my house, completely resolving the leak in my roof in a few short hours. He responded promptly whenever I contacted him, thoroughly explained his process while eliminating technical jargon and charged a fair price. Gary's dedication to safety and quality was evident in the manner in which he approached our conversations and demonstrated in the work itself. In addition to completely resolving the leak, Gary went above and beyond to fix a few minor roofing issues (i.e. loose nails, shingles) free of charge. I will be returning, with absolute certainty, to Gary and Girard Roofing when/if I require additional roof work.

2019 (update): Gary once again saved the day by fixing a few issues raised by my homeowner's insurance. He squeezed me in last minute and did a beautiful job, going above and beyond to provide high-quality photos that I could send to my insurance.

2019 (update 2): Water started leaking through my dining room light fixture at ~2am. I texted Gary somewhat-frantically and he responded right away (on Mother's Day, mind you) at 8am. Thankfully the roof was in great shape thanks to Gary and the issue was related to HVAC draining, but I was so grateful for his service mentality and willingness to help. Gary will be my roofer until he retires!

Gary came out to look at my roof to give me a quote on replacing a shingle that had blown off in high wind. Gary then gave me a hard sell on how my roof is in horrible shape and if I don't replace it soon I'm going to have problems, what a bunch of BS. I had another roofer replace the shingle and told me my roof would be fine for several more years. I wouldn't trust Girard Roofing to replace the roof on a dog house.

Mr Girard is a pleasure to work with. In the past, he came to fix different leaks on my roof. Once, it seemed my roof leaked by the chimney. He came and told me he he saw nothing, as a roofer, that he could do to fix the leak but he showed me photos of cracks in the chimney between the stones. He even refused to charge me because he had not repaired anything. I called a chimney repairing company and they confirmed what he had told me and rebuilt the chimney. Recently, he came back to fix a roof leak again, but when he came down, he told me that I should start thinking about replacing the roof, as it was in pretty bad shape in many places (shingles worn down). He showed me different places with really worn shingles. Since this was a major project, I interviewed 3 more companies (top rated), but in the end, I hired him. His estimate was totally in line with the others. But since I already knew how he worked with the little jobs I had given him before, it was a no-brainer to go with him! He was very thorough in explaining everything they would do, including adding an attic fan to replace an old non-working all house fan. The roof looks great, his team cleaned up very well and when he had to replace some of the wood, he even made a point of showing me his invoices. There was no debris left and all the old nails were picked up with a magnetic device. As always, it was a true pleasure to deal with him.

Mr. Girard just completed the roof on our 35 year old home. It was an extremely pleasant experience. He came to give the estimate at the time agreed upon. Mr. Girard was the only one of the roofers who did an estimate who asked to come in and see where the leaks we were having were located. He took photos of the roof and showed me exactly what he'd need to do, and his price was lower than anyone else's! He was scheduled to come the day after Christmas at about 7am, but held off till about 9, to give us a little extra sleep! The work was done quickly and everything appears to be fine, they even cleaned out the gutters! And I have a 6 year guarantee on the workmanship on the roof. Girard Roofing came out in 2009 and replaced my damaged roof. They were prompt and very considerate of my (Customer) Needs. They removed the old roof and replaced and repaired vents and wood as needed. Girard then installed the new roof. They cleaned up after completing their work so you could not tell that they had even been here aside from the new roof, which was beautiful. We have had no need for call back on this original job. We are very satisfied with this company's quality of workmanship and attention to detail. We can without hesitation recommend them to anyone friend of stranger.
On a more recent note, we had to have our HAVC 2nd floor replaced requiring a larger vent pipe for the gas furnace. We called Girard Roofing again and being true to his claim Mr.Girard Installed the new vent for us himself. While here he noticed some other items on the roof requiring attention, i.e. vent rust and soil pipes needing paint. He took care of this for us. Temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s did not detour him. He was very prompt and conscientious again performing impeccably giving us good value for our money. Thank You Girard Roofing.

We started using Girard Roofing when their bid for a repair came in at 4% of another company's bid. Our orginal roof was very poorly done, so we have had continual leak issues for 15 years. Mr. Girard always came within a day or so of our call and fixed any issues at an extremely reasonable price. This year we finally replaced the roof - the work was done with exellence and all in one day, even with the tear off of the old roof. We did not even bother getting bids - it's so hard to find someone really trustworthy in the home repair arena, and we already knew we would get good value and good work from this company.
