We had water leaking into our basement underneath the kitchen. We were recommended Roots to Roof who assessed the situation, gave us a quote, and replaced the busted pipe below our sink within a few days of us contacting them. The holes needed to remove the pipe were fixed within a few days after we had a working sink again. Matthew and AJ were both friendly, professional, and easy to work with.

We had a drain leak coming from our kitchen into our basement. Matthew and AJ came out soon after scheduling our appointment and gave a good quote for the work. It turned out previous patch jobs were not holding well and the pipe was in a tough spot. They replaced the drain pipe on the first day and then had all the drywall repairs completed in a few days. Both Matthew and AJ were very professional and easy to work with, I would highly recommend for water related issues

Matt and his crew were great! We needed a sump pump installed in our crawl space and I cant recommend him enough. His communication was easy and project management was perfect. I was able to text him whenever I needed or had questions. I really appreciate his flexibility as well; there was a part of the project that required an additional piece, and instead of add additional costs and complicate things he was honest and told me we could safely eliminate another part of the project and maintain the same cost, even though it required extra labor from him. He even added a little light switch to the outlet that allows us to check if the electricity is working so we don’t have to go all the way into the crawl space to check. I know he does a bunch of house projects and remodels so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need something done!

The result is great. The project management piece could have been better. We did a lot of coordination from our end to ensure someone can be at the property while the work is ongoing. Apparently on second day, they only used 1-2 hours slot and the work started in at noon instead of morning. A heads up could work better to smooten the execution.

They did an amazing job on our master bedroom! Very responsive and professional! I highly recommend them and will use them in the future!

Worked with Mathew and crew for fixing drywall both on ceiling and wall, patch attic insulation and spot painting. Matt was phenomenal and so thorough! Of the different assessments we had done of our attic mold issue, he was by far the most comprehensive in his approach, and patient with our many questions. Matthew Cook, owner of Roots to Roof will give you an honest, reasonable bid. I had a number of bids to install insulation in my attic. I was told by all but two bidders that my attic had mold. I was set to get mold removal but gave the matter serious thought and called a number of roofers. I needed a new roof.

Matthew Cook was one of the bidders who saw no mold. (although his company does spray for mold) I liked him, he politely answered all of my questions. He came back to my home to answer more questions, and helped me understand by drawing pictures. I told him I needed a new roof, he waited. I felt him to be an honest hard working man with integrity. I had to remediate mold/mildew from improperly vented insulation. These guys were recommended by the new insulation company, and had to coordinate service after the old insulation was removed and before the new could be installed. They provided prompt, professional service and excellent communication. Hopefully I won't need them again, but would happily use them again in a heartbeat if I ever need their services in the future.

We hired Roots to Roof (Great name, first of all), to do mold mitigation in our attic prior to the installation of insulation and Matthew came and made our attic look brand new.

I’ve never been a poet with words but Matthew was great to work with.
