I am absolutely glad that we worked with Roof Crafters because of the professionalism and workmanship provided through Ricardo Salas, the Residential Sales Manager, and his crew. Please read my entire review.

I highly recommend Ricardo Salas and his crew and Roof Crafters for the following reasons if you need a roof replacement for your home.

In December of 2024, our insurance company sent a notice of nonrenewal of our home insurance policy due to aging roof. I discovered then that some insurance companies only insure homes with roofs that do not exceed 10, 15, 20, or 25 years max depending on the underwriting guidelines of the insurance company. Although our roof was reaching 25 years by December 2025, we knew that we had no choice but to replace our roof, even though we had a 40-year roof installed in December 2000.

As we were approaching the dead of winter, I contacted five roofing companies. The following parameters were very important to my husband and me.

We spoke with five roofing companies. Yes, five! After our interviews with the five roofing companies, we were impressed with Ricardo Salas, the Residential Sales Manager for Roof Crafters.

We asked for samples of the roof materials we were thinking of choosing. Ricardo met us in the comfort of our home with samples.

Other roofing companies told us to go their distributors to view samples, but Ricardo brought the material samples to us. I had so many questions, and he patiently answered all of them. Because my husband and I were so impressed with his professionalism, we signed the proposal while Ricardo was in our home.

Ricardo monitored the weather diligently. He called us to schedule the roof replacement, and when the weather turned out unexpectedly unpleasant, he immediately called to inform us that he would reschedule for better weather. We appreciated this because we did not want bad weather in the midst of roof replacement.

During a week of sunny and warm weather, I called Ricardo to ask him if he could schedule roof replacement in that week. He was so on top of it; he immediately replied that he had already scheduled it for that week.

We are so blessed that after the week our roof was installed, it started raining and snowing again. I am so grateful that our roof was replaced during that window of such nice weather. It really took good planning on Ricardo’s part to accomplish this successful installation during this brief good weather.

My husband and I are so thrilled with our new roof. Our purpose for quality and function and aesthetics were all accomplished. Even the rain and snow immediately following the final installation proved that the workmanship quality was as promised.

My husband and I also wish to express our appreciation for Samuel Ayala, the foreman, and the entire crew comprised of Daniel Ayala, Arturo Martinez, and Jesus Castellanos. They cleaned up debris after they left each day until completion of roof installation. We did NOT have a mess outside. By the final day of installation, our roof and property were clear of debris. They are professionals.

It is so important to express appreciation for people who go beyond what they are expected to do. They are rare these days. I hope that this will encourage them to continue in their corporate culture of dedication to their customers.

If you're looking for a new roof on your Tahoe area home, I highly recommend Roof Crafters. Working with Ricardo to get a proposal was super easy. Three primary options were provided along with heavy duty ice sheathing. We were able to schedule the work within a few weeks.

Fernando and crew knocked out the work in 3 days, clearing and disposing the old roof, laying and seaming the new sheathing. Getting shingles up, with full cleanup of debris and construction material.

Our new roof installation couldn't have gone better! I attribute this to Ricardo and the job site supervisor's excellent communication, as well as Roof Crafter's knowledgable, experienced and respectful crew. Outstanding cleanup at the end of each work day. The installation was completed as agree and on time.

Roof Crafters have completed two new roofs within the past year within our HOA complex. There were o issues or complaints and both projects were very professionally completed and most noteworthy. The second project was a larger building, and it was completed within 5 days. The cleanup done was beyond expectations and you wouldn't know a new rood was just completed. Their pricing was very competitive, and I would highly recommend doing business with this outfit. Also, very responsive to any questions or concerns.

We appreciated how communicative and responsive he was with the bid, wait and installation. They did a great job on the new roof, especially considering how many ridges we had on and how old the existing roof was.

Roofcrafters completed a construction of a brand new roof in Virginia City Highlands, Nevada. I demanded a metal roof immitating green tiles. The job they have done is absolutely outstanding. Many years ago I had my own roofing company in Illinois so I can still tell a difference between good job and an outstandind job. Metal tile is a challenging material leaving no tolerance for an error or inaccuracy. These guys are great.

During the process of having the roof repaired I spoke to 5 - 6 people. All were helpful & efficient. The job was scheduled & completed quickly.

They recently did a fantastic job on my company's roof. They took the time to understand the specific needs of the building and provided a detailed plan that fit within our budget. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, which was especially helpful since it was my first time handling a roofing project for the company. Roof Crafters came to my rescue at a Building I manage at short notice. Did the job. Tenant could stay open for business. Everyone is happy.
But it gets better…..I gave them more work and was directed to their scheduler for timing. What a pleasant person he is. He was patient with me and explained everything - set up the time - sent his men out and they called me when they were there to be sure they had the right place and were going to do the right thing. And then they called me when they finished! Workmen that care! When was the last time you met folks like that? Needless to say, I have scheduled Roof Crafters for several other jobs to come.
