Carlos and the whole Great Basin crew did a beautiful job on my roof. They were courteous and professional, keeping everything clean. The new Certainteed roof actually keeps the house cooler than the old roof. The integrated solar panels are flush, making for a better look as well as better wind resistance. We had a good experience with GBR in designing and planning our roof and solar overhaul.
Carlos did a beautiful job installing the Tesla PowerWall and wall EV charging system. I am happy that I chose Great Basin Roofing to do this job. I couldn’t be happier.

Great Basin Roofing did a outstanding job. My home has approximately 2,240 sqft roof and about 600 sqft flat patio cover requiring a combination of standard shingles, metal panels (I own a solar home), and TPO membrane. I contacted 6 Roofing companies to bid on the job, 2 declined because they had concerns about the metal panels for the solar heating/cooling system portion of the roof , 1 said he would send me a quote (I never heard from him again) another submitted a bid for $52,000. Great Basin said and did save me a substantial amount of money while using quality materials, in fact they had metal transition panels fabricated to ensure there would be no leaks where shingles met the metal panels. Great Basin also replaced the gutters while they were there. I can't express how happy I am regarding my experience with Great Basin Roofing.

called 5 different roofers to come fix a roof leak. Many never called back and some had to many loop holes in their contract. I decided to go with Carlos at Great Basin Roofing. I am so glad I did. Carlos was very professional & explained what was going on with my roof leak. Pigeons had been roosting on my roof and causing the rain to flow in the wrong direction, along with tons of pine needles. Anyway he fixed it, put new collars & flashing. Then he offered to come out & clean my gutters at no extra charge. Carlos went above and beyond with this job. I highly recommend Carlos & his company. I'd like to add an update to this post. After Carlos fixed my roof leak he came back 3 times to add screen so pigeons couldn't roost. I offered to pay him for these additional trips and he wouldn't charge me. This is most honest contractor in this area, and I've been through many. If you need any roof work I believe he is the best. He is also the nicest, most polite man, that you feel comfortable with working around your home.

On Feb 1, 2025 we had a huge wind event that took off part of my roof. I contacted Great Basin Roofing to see if we could get it fixed. He came out that day and did an emergency repair and worked up a quote for total repair and told me to contact my insurance company.

The insurance claims person looked at my roof on 2/4/25 and Carlos from GBR was there as well and the insurance company excepted his quote.

There was going to be a big storm coming in a couple of days so Carlos said they will fix the roof the next day so as to miss the storm.

The service has been exceptional. Everything went so smooth I couldn’t believe it.

The heavy rains from last week’s storm exposed vulnerabilities in my roofs, leading to leaks and water damage. Great Basin Roofing replaced our roof’s , sealing out moisture and reinforcing shingles against future extreme weather.

After the prolonged winds we had over the past week, I noticed a bunch of my neighbors were missing shingles, and I was worried for our own roof with no way of getting up there to check. I texted Great Basin Roofing about arranging a quick inspection to make sure everything was ok and they got back to me within minutes and got me scheduled in for the following morning. Carlos came by and gave me the good news that everything was fine up there and gave me the photos he took.

Will definitely be contacting GBR again when we decide to do our gutters (which they also do!) and for any future roofing projects. Really great experience!

The company provided an estimate on day one and work was completed on day two. They are working with us on a payment plan which I am incredibly thankful for as it has been a rough month. I would give more stars if I could 10/10 service.
