Rob The Pro Handyman

It took me a while to write this review because I didn't want to hurt a new small business. However after reading the most recent bad review, it's important that people know about my experience as well. We hired Rob to install a dishwasher, over-range microwave, and some GFI outlets when we first moved into our house. He said it would be a quick and easy job—one, maybe two days at most. I understand that there were unexpected factors resulting in multiple trips to purchase supplies, not a problem. Rob showed up hours late every single day, no exaggeration, sometimes as late as 3-4 hours. Anytime I would try to contact him he pretty much never responded. He had his family drop him off and pick him up, so every time he needed to go buy supplies so much time was wasted waiting for his ride. After several days of work, much longer than quoted, we ended up paying $1800, and I've had to go back and fix *every single* thing Rob worked on, from the dishwasher mounting and water line to the GFI outlet connections. I do not recommend hiring Rob for any work whatsoever.

Do not hire this man! $7,000 for a deck that wasn’t even close to what I had asked for. (And what he agreed to do easily). Nothing fancy—just replace deck and steps. What I was left with was a monstrosity that was completely subpar and unsafe. After numerous attempts to contact him to rectify the situation, (including refund from the unused materials that he and his family loaded into his truck), I’m left to turn to social media in hopes that I can at least warn others not to use this con-man. I can only imagine those other sparkling reviews are friends and family helping a guy out. Good luck!

Had rob and his team come and tear down my old garage and build a new one, and then convert it into a wood shop and metal shop. Very good quality and well within budget.
