Called at 9:30AM on a Saturday with a water leak. He had a full day ahead of him but was still able to juggle everything and repair our water by 2PM. All around great guy and very affordable for what I considered an “emergency call”!

Rife Remodeling replaced our kitchen ceiling after water damage. They were also nice enough to do additional work for us including adding recessed lights in our kitchen, living room and hallway. They were very fast and had everything done in 2 days. It was a very messy project, but they cleaned up after themselves. We still had to do additional detail cleaning after too, but it was to be expected. Definitely will be using them again for future projects beyond our abilities!

We are very satisfied with Rifes work. John has a great crew and they do excellent work. We would highly recommend them.

We had water damage in our bathroom and Rife Remodeling & Flooring was hired to redo the room. Floors and walls were removed as well as the tub surround, which was replaced with a shower surround. The crew that did the work were all very professional, respectful, and nice. We are pleased with the end result.

Rife Remodeling has performed multiple projects at the Breaks Interstate Park and we are very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work. John, the company’s owner, kept us informed of his progress and made the entire process easy. Pricing was very reasonable and easy to understand.

We were very thankful that our insurance company sent John, owner of Rife Remodeling, to inspect and repair our home from a fallen tree during a wind storm. He came promptly the next day to inspect the damage and continued on with the process of repairing.

John updated regularly with as to the supplies and timing of the repair. We actually were out of town the 2 days that he was at our home, and it was so wonderful to come home and see that everything was repaired perfectly! He also cleaned up afterwards which was such a blessing.

We hired this company to put a new light/ceiling fan in our bathroom (after trying to install it on our own but dang near burning the house down… TWICE!!) They came in and got right to work! They were very Fast, proficient, and professional. The Electricity in our home is super old (like from the 40’s) so I was worried if they would be able to do this. They knew EXACTLY what to do!! Ran new wires and all to make it safer. They got up in our TINY attic access and ran the vent for the fan, everything done exactly right. We are so happy with the job they did. We can’t thank them enough! They were even concerned about making a mess while drilling into the ceiling to put this new light in, but they left no mess. I’m just blown away and so happy to have a bathroom light again! It’s a light, night light, Bluetooth speaker and fan. They installed the whole thing to include the light switch it came with. I would recommend them 100% to anyone. Before and after pics below. LOOK how old that light was! I’m taking the darn thing to antiques road show lol They turned an electrical mess into 100% safe. Plus it just looks so much nicer.

John and his crew did a wonderful job on my hardwood flooring and painting!! I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future! Thanks for everything guys! I appreciate everything!

Yes this is an appropriate review. Initially emailed for a home inspection repair. And said they should be able to perform the repair. I replied with an email with the inspection repair list from the home inspection report. Significant time passed and no response. I called left a message and sent another email stating and asking for help and no response. Even mentioned I have other projects outside of a home inspection to do. Look, if you can’t do the work or it’s too small to get out of bed for at least say so. I get it with covid and the cost of materials and being backed up but if it’s an issue so say something. Not a good way to conduct business. Looks like you’re trying to blow others off by saying inappropriate review. Well I’m telling you it is.

My family and I have used this company many times in the past. They do excellent work and are extremely professional. Some jobs they have done for us are rock work, roofing, bathroom/Living room remodel, porches, etc. Every job that has been completed has looked amazing. They are insured, they give you a contract to sign (of course), and will work with you in any way they can. Highly recommended.

I had them repair exterior doors. The employees were very attentive and respectful. They did a good job on the project and I’d use their services again.

Pipes breaking under the floor and John came late in the evening repairing plumbing so we did not have to go to a motel! Ripped out the wet insulation and installed fans to dry out the damage. Came back in two days to inspect the damage once everything was dry. In two days his crew replaced the floor molding and tile in the laundry room and bathroom just in time for Christmas and the harsh weather coming. The BEST WORK I have had done inside and out.

Rife's Remodeling replaced my roof. John was extremely helpful & expeditious in getting the necessary information to my insurance. The project was done in a timely manner. The crew was awesome. The roof looked great &they left zero mess. I highly recommend this company.

Did not install metal roof correctly. Didn't install vents. Now roof has rotted under metal. Having to replace metal , plywood and rafters . This was in the summer of 2011 rife remodeling installed the metal roof. The contractor working on it now showed me where the vents had been removed and covered up. Rife installed screws in the wrong place. Total waste of money!!! This review is for Rife remodeling and flooring. Thank you

John Rife took over and dealt with insurance company he went way beyond his means. This mans company will go far. He workers these guys were amazing. They not only did an excellent roofing job but also fantastic mannerisms, cheerful and cleaned up theirs mess completely surrounding the house. I would recommend these people 100%. They were the best contractors that we’ve ever had.!!! They were very thorough, and made sure that everything was up to our standards before they left. They made sure that they cleaned everything before they left our place.. We will use them from now on for anything and everything we need done!! It’s very hard to find contractors like them.

If you need good work done right the first time, call John at Rife Remodeling and Flooring. I hired him to do a roof replacement on a small house, and since I live out of town, he was able to help me out with other things I needed to get done and didn’t have the time to get to, like flooring, drywall and plumbing replacement. He is VERY professional and kept me informed with pictures of everything along the way. Billing was very easy as well. I would recommend him to anyone, no question!

Had almost half of one side of my mobile home's power go out. I tried for an hour contacting every licensed electrician i could. They either wouldn't come for a month, or would give me someone else to contact. I managed to find Rife's remodeling and call. Immediately answered and asked the issue.

Now keep in mind this is a call he received out of the blue while driving presumably to another work site. He asked when I'd like him to come by. I said "I wish it could be checked today, but seeing how everyone else has been, when do you have time available." or similar.

He promised that day he'd be by to check it out, and he was. Only 2 hours and he came, and diagnosed the problem quick. Sadly it was already getting late, and he couldn't fix it the same night. he scheduled as early as i wanted the next day for his guys to come and do the repair. They came when I asked, and did a good job.

The gentlemen were also a pleasure to hold conversations with while they worked, and were respectful. Mr Rife himself was a pleasure to talk to, and has a very professional air about him.

I have a lot of work I need done, and after meeting him I have NO doubt he is the one I need to hire for all of my remodeling.
