I was in desperate need of a restoration service because sewer had backed up in my basement. I emailed RI Restoration and Mike was at my house within an hour and a half, I didn’t expect such a quick reply. Mike very knowledgeable. He explained the process and what needed to be done, He was very thorough and he also explained the Insurance end of the process. He had a team at my house within a couple of hours to section off the basement and contain the bacteria. Mike and his team were very easy to work with they were professional, neat and most of all honest. I knew going in. I could trust him and he had my back and that means everything to me. We were able to work with Tom and Mike as project managers and we were glad we did. Going through an insurance claim is no easy task. Fortunately Tom worked closely with our claims adjuster in what was a far more lengthy process that it should have been due to insurance.
Once the work was started Mike and his crew were on time every day and were able to get us back in our kitchen in time for Christmas

Prompt response to my initial call after my dishwasher flooded my kitchen and livingroom. Mike Siou and his team immediately went to work to minimise and prevent further damage. Towards the end of April/May I was dog sitting for a coworker and the dog accidentally set the house on fire by turning the gas stove on.

I worked closely with Steve Parker on meeting to check the damage then meet the insurance company adjuster and then start the cleanup.

Steve was amazing in his customer service with the homeowners who were away on vacation. He kept them up to date on every little detail and answered any question they had.

RIR provided remarkable service from the moment I called them about a badly flooded and badly cluttered basement. They immediately scheduled a cleanup and mold treatment and showed up in full force to do the job. The whole crew was terrific—polite and friendly and hardworking. Mike helped us every step of the way. He was here quickly after being called when our bathroom flooded. He was kind and very knowledgeable. He walked us through and explained each step of the process which made our tragedy not seem so overwhelming.

RI Restoration helped us get our finished basement dry before hardly any damage could set in.
After a wild rain storm where half of the state was flooded, RI Restoration returned my call and had workers out to our house within hours to start pumping out our basement in the middle of the night.
Although we had to wait for the ground water level to subside before any drying could take place, they pumped out my basement 3+ times which helped keep the water in check.
They left multiple commercial dehumidifiers and air movers for an entire week. We used the air movers to dry under our vinyl flooring thoroughly. Our basement is probably dryer now than it was before.
The price isn't cheap for emergency remediation, but it was less than or equal to everyone else I called, and it was well worth the money to salvage 95% of our finished basement as home owners insurance doesn't cover foundation flooding.
I went with RI Restoration as they were the fastest ones to get trucks out to my house, but I am happy I ended up with them.

I just called them in a panic due to water in my basement from a current storm. Instead of coming out to help, the guy says to me on the phone “there’s nothing we can do right now and it’s going to be about $5,000 tomorrow for cleanup, is that ok” NO ITS NOT. How about come over and assess the situation and help me prevent further damage?

I contracted RI Restoration to remediate a problem in my home that needed to be taken care of prior to sale. Shawn and his employees responded in a timely manner and professionally remediated the problem. A report was provided that documented the remediation. We could not be more pleased with the service they provided. Highly recommended

Any stars are for Henry / Hector and the dryout crew, who were on time, efficient, professional and kind. Those guys were great.

I cannot support, however, the predatory practices of their adjunct company, Performance Adjustment, the management team, or the quality of their work as "public adjustor."

Rhode Island Restoration is fine insofar as its mitigation efforts go, but when the crew arrives on site DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING TO ACCEPT THEM AS PUBLIC ADJUSTOR!

What does that mean? Public adjustor? It means they want to take 10% of any settlement monies while "advocating" on your behalf with your insurance company. DO NOT DO THIS. Do not allow them to intervene. Any additional monies they might win are not worth the delay and their disregard once they have your signature.

Caveat emptor! Buyer beware - you are in a vulnerable moment when your home is damaged by water, fire, smoke or mold, and Rhode Island Restoration / Performance Adjusting is NOT your best advocate.

Again DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ACT AS PUBLIC ADJUSTOR!

SEE BELOW: Rhode Island Restoration's response is disingenuous at best. The two entities share an owner and it will be Rhode Island Restoration that asks if you want to sign the form allowing Performance Adjusting to become your "public adjustor." Do not let them to convince you to do this.

Company runs like a well oiled machine.

Very happy to have used their services. Turn around time for my issue was a little less than a month. All reps had "cold knowledge" of their services, with immediate answers when queried.

All team members were respectful and up to date on the objectives and current task and there was never a need to update individual team leaders on what was going on.

The work done at my home for water damage mitigation and mold remediation was very professional, and I am happy with the settlement amount procured from the insurance company.

Rhode Island Restoration handled the installation of a new roof on our home. They were amazing from beginning to end. They have a great understanding of what they do and we’re able to answer each question that came up. I can’t thank them enough for helping us through this process.

We recently experienced flooding with all the recent rain. A friend of mine told my wife and I to call RI restoration and had nothing but high praise for them. Needless to say we did call and they surpassed all expectations. Everyone associated with the company was courteous and professional. When an emergency arises an immediate response is always necessary. Rhode Island Restoration was at my house within hours of disaster.

On the night of September 11, 2023, my basement was overcome with nearly six inches of water. The carpets, walls, and my belongings were completely saturated and destroyed. Knowing that many community members were facing the same emergency, I was fearful that I would just be a number on a long list of people waiting to have their basement bailed out and remediated.

Nearing midnight, I was able to get a hold of David Such. David assured me that Rhode Island Restoration would be at my house with their remediation equipment no later than 8:30 in the morning.

As promised, at 8:30AM on September 12, 2023, Rhode Island Restoration was at my house removing damaged property and putting equipment in place to mitigate the development of mold.

David and his team were incredibly responsive and accommodating during the entire process.

While there may be other restoration/remediation companies throughout Rhode Island, none of the ones I’ve personally dealt with over the years were more responsive or professional than Rhode Island Restoration.

Had rooftop power mess up our home by removing our shingles and plywood in the rain. It rained all over the back half of our top floor. Called RI restoration because they had the best reviews. We needed the estimate fast so we could go after the solar company for the money we need for the repairs. It's been over 2 weeks and no updates no matter how many times we call. We were even told "don't call us we will call you". A week ago tomorrow. Our ceilings are bubbling and starting to collapse further and we will have to get a general contractor out to perform a proper estimate just so we can finally get the ball rolling on the legal side. Then we will be hiring either a general contractor or another company to come do the repairs because we can't wait any longer and don't believe they will actually ever come through for us.

I was told that they would give me a quote within about a week, I have yet to receive anything from them. Great company to have in your corner when recovering a house fire. This is a very stressful time in my life but Dylan and his team made the whole process as smooth as it could be.
