RI Renovations recently completed a kitchen remodel for me and exceeded expectations. The project was completed timely and on-budget. Lisa and Jon took the time on the front-end to create a thorough plan and help select the materials. Once the project was underway, the crew was trustworthy, communicated well, and was a pleasure to work with. The level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and follow-up were greatly appreciated. In addition, they always left the job site tidy and were sensitive to the disruption of the household and pets. I will definitely work with RI Renovations again and highly recommend without any reservations.

Jon and Lisa helped us to convert our covered porch into a sunroom. Throughout the project, the team at Rhode Island Renovations was communicative, helpful, and professional. We worked with RI Renovations to remodel our only full bath and to complete two smaller related projects, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Lisa and Jon and their crew were terrific to work with. They started out by providing a timely, detailed estimate and a reasonable price. Lisa offered design guidance throughout the process that was spot-on; she helped us understand our options and the pros and cons of different styles and materials. Once the work got underway, Lisa and Jon communicated with us every day about what would be happening and when, and who would be coming to the house, and Jon stopped by almost every day to make sure the work was up to their standards. When we had questions or concerns, they responded right away and explained everything well. Their own crew and the specialists they brought in (for tile, plastering, etc.) were all wonderful--talented, polite, cleaned up after themselves, answered questions. We're already thinking about our next project, and we will absolutely be calling RI Renovations to work on it.

We wanted to put a second bathroom in our home for a long time. With a large family of 6, it was time. We called RI Renovations for an estimate.
We knew right away that Jon and Lisa were good people and that they knew what they were talking about. The price they gave us lined up with what we could afford. Jon and Lisa had a vision of how to turn our unfinished laundry room into a finished bathroom/laundry room.
They work very fast. We were quite surprised with how much work they could accomplish in a day. The entire crew was always very polite and courteous. Every day they were finished for the day, they always cleaned up after all the work that they did.
We believe communication is very important. Jon and Lisa would always let us know how things were going. If someone would be coming over, we would always be informed ahead of time.
When work was completed, they made sure that we were fully satisfied. The bathroom that they installed has become the preferred bathroom in our home. We were so satisfied that we referred RI Renovations to my parents, who also hired them to do a job.
We are very happy about our decision to hire RI Renovations and will refer potential customers to them in the future.

Jon and Lisa did an amazing job finishing our basement, as well as helping my wife and I with an emergency roof repair (not just the repairs, but temporarily patching the roof as well as helping us deal with the insurance company to get as much covered as possible). They were right on budget and the cost was exactly what they quoted at the start. Would absolutely recommend them and hire them again for any future renovations.

I had a great experience with RI Renovations from the start through the end of service. I needed a dishwasher installed where there were currently cabinets. Lisa and Jon walked me through my options and provided me with a quote the day after our consultation.
Once I knew which option I wanted to move forward with, it was a smooth and quick process to get the work scheduled and completed. Any time I had a question, I received a timely response from Lisa.
On the day of the renovation, Jon and his crew arrived right at the scheduled time. Before getting started, Jon told me what to expect (electric and water would be shut off at certain points) and he also gave me a heads up prior to it happening. The work was completed in a few hours and I’m super happy with how it turned out. It looks like the dishwasher has been here the entire time.

RI Renovations took on our insurance claim project when no one else wanted to. Jon and Lisa, owners, worked directly with my insurance company to make sure they funded repairs completely. They were easy to reach via email or text which was important to us; we have hectic work schedules so it was great not to have to play phone tag to get the information back and forth. They kept us informed throughout the project with timelines, next steps, insurance company communications etc. They even expanded the outside stairs into a deck that we wanted to build before new vinyl siding related to the insurance claim was installed. They quoted us the additional out-of-pocket cost and seamlessly adjusted the plan per our request. When the final payment figure was calculated, I reached out to my insurance company to verify the final claim payment amount and found Jon and Lisa's invoice was dead-on.

RI Renovations did a full bathroom remodel for us and we couldn't be happier with the result. The terrific owners, Jon and Lisa, are extremely conscientious about the details and always transparent about the costs up front. They offered design advice along the way, carefully keeping in mind the character of the home we wished to preserve and how the space would be best utilized. At every stage, their crew was on time and communicative about the progress of work. Everyone was always friendly, professional, and respectful of our home--by the end, they felt like family! We felt confident we were in good hands throughout the entire process and the finished product is beautiful. We will absolutely be hiring them again in the future!

We contacted several companies over a year ago because we wanted to stay in our home in Warwick but needed more space. Either the companies were way over priced or we didn't feel comfortable with their knowledge and work history. Then Lisa & Jon came over. Right away we felt a sense of comfort, they were so helpful with design ideas and within our budget. During our project my husband and I would thank God we found them. They always went above and beyond and came up with great alternatives when need be. Their entire team is so thorough and a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. We had a fire at one of our church properties and we were looking for a good contractor. Someone recommended RI Reno. Lisa is great at getting to the insurance business. If it wasn't for her, the job would never have been completed. Jon and his crew did a awesome job with the complete rebuild. Now all we need is a tenant. I can't thank them enough for all they did.

The measure of a service business is repeat customers. That being said this is the second time I have used RI Renovations. John snd Lisa Baker completed a beautiful laundry room/half bath for us previously. So when I decided to replace my deck, there was no question who I would call. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup everything was done with care and professionalism. The deck is awesome and exactly what we wanted. It took only 3 days to complete. I couldn’t be more satisfied. We are customers for life.

We highly recommend RI Renovations!! Our house suffered catastrophic damage, and Lisa and John were a wonderful team to work with. John and his crew completely rebuilt the interior of our home, with superb attention to detail. Lisa is masterful at working with the insurance adjuster, and provided us with clear, detailed estimates and updates throughout. The project was completed within budget, and with excellent quality. Jon and Lisa are the best. My father's house needed some serious updating and repairs, and I was dreading having to work with multiple contractors for kitchen cabinets, appliances, painting, bathroom remodeling, etc. Jon and Lisa came over and made great suggestions about where to focus and get the most improvement affordably. They remodeled the kitchen, repainted the entire interior, replaced lighting fixtures, replaced worn out doors, renovated a bathroom, and installed a new shower and washer/dryer hookups. They started the job 48 hours after providing a quote and were done 2 weeks later. Could not be happier with the result. It's like a new house.

RI Renovations performed a complete home renovation for us including finishing the basement. We were extremely happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone looking to have work done. They had lots of good ideas and helped us pick out tile, vanities counter tops and light fixtures. Their workmanship was excellent and they worked on the house as if it were their own.

We had a three season room finished into a family room by RI Renovations. Jon, Lisa, Alex and Dave were a pleasure to deal with. They were professional, friendly and responsive. They kept us updated on the process and progress through the whole project. And we couldn't be more pleased with the finished product.

Rhode Island Renovations was an amazing help to The Beach Cafe & Pub in Oakland Beach, without them we would not have been able to get our function room up to code and open for business in 2019. In one weekend they stepped in and quickly moved a wall making our bathroom handicap accessible, added a drop ceiling and a few other things helping us to meet our requirements. Working with Jon and Lisa Baker was easy, they are quick to respond when needed and their team is professional, working whatever hours were needed to get the job done!!

Rhode Island Renovations is a husband and wife team. They are a family business and came highly recommended by another excellent contractor who did work for us. Within ten minutes of their on-time arrival, we knew they were the ones. They were warm, genuinely interested in what we wanted, open to our ideas, kind and eager to engage us. And they had humor. He is the skilled technician with regards to all facets of construction. She is the creative mind, the one who can see colors and textures and materials come together in a dream design. And they completely compliment each other. It is amazing to observe.

We spoke about preserving some of the kitchen’s architectural detail and integrity as we have an older home with some charm and character. And they completely understood. We discussed what we would like to see as an end result. They took notes. And the conversation came to a comfortable close. They took their leave. They had promised to be in touch with an estimate within a fortnight. Right on time we received their estimate - a promise made and kept.

The terms regarding what was included in the price were very clear. The payment schedule was fair and precise. We had a time line and were told between six and eight weeks for the entire job -start to finish. That was another promise made and kept.
So the project began, and we were encouraged to look at items on Pinterest and at a variety of vendors. It was a big undertaking, but a fun one. And Lisa (of Jon and Lisa) was responsive, articulate, prompt, kind, funny and encouraging. We sent tons of photos and ideas. We asked her opinion. She gave it, graciously, each and every time. If we struggled between two colors and wanted to bounce ideas off of her, she helped us. When we struggled with floor tile choices, she went to the tile shop with us and helped us select something that turned out to be absolutely beautiful. When we would send several light fixture ideas, she would indicate which she thought would look best. And she stumbled across a recycled glass and resin countertop that we might never have considered, as she was collecting some quartz countertop samples to bring to us. The colors were nice she texted. It was “alluring”. Could we meet her Wednesday at 3 to look - as we might like it? We couldn’t wait, so we went - thinking we would know when we saw it. And we found it and knew immediately it was for us. She’s THAT good!
Then there are the guys who do the demolition and all the construction. Jon is the person in charge, but their son, Alex, and another young man named Steve all pick up certain aspects of the work. Steve and Alex did most of the demolition. They were kind, attentive, careful. As things came together, it was obvious that each component of this kitchen complimented every other and nothing detracted from the whole. Whenever we would have questions about construction detail, Jon was so kind and informative. No question was too silly or stupid. And he supervised in a kind and unassuming manner. His rapport with his employees is wonderful. They were constantly communicative, always courteous and kind, extremely attentive to detail and responsive to everything.
We can honestly say they are the best and most capable contractors we have ever used. Their professionalism is unmatched. Pricing is fair and reasonable, the element of creativity is there in full force and they are so willing to work with you regarding design options. The workmanship is top notch and they are excellent about communicating with clients. We had a very dated, very cheaply constructed kitchen when they started and now, much to our delight, we have a beautiful, streamlined, utilitarian, well-constructed place to cook, welcome friends and enjoy. These people are the absolute best in the business. They are a rare commodity and we feel so incredibly fortunate and grateful to have found them. On a scale of 1-10, they are a 15!!!!

I would highly recommend RI Renovations! They recently installed ceiling fans on our porch and I couldn't be happier! It was something we have wanted to do for years. Lisa even helped me pick out the right fans. Work was done quickly and with no interruption to our schedule. Great finish work and now I love my porch even more! John and Lisa renovated our kitchen. It’s amazing. We love it so much. Lisa was awesome with the design and she and John gave us more than we expected. It’s so beautiful and adds beauty and value to our home. They are very professional and highly experienced in their work. We would definitely recommend them and have them do more work in our home. Jon and Lisa are truly the best to work with. My husband and I contacted them after numerous attempts with other companies who came out to look at our problem then wouldn’t return our phone calls. We were able to schedule an appointment with Jon right away for him to come and look at a problem we were having in our bathroom. We were prepared to have to pay for whatever renovations would cost. Jon was able to find a leak right away and him and Lisa worked diligently with our home owners insurance to get the claim covered by them (and it was!). You can tell they really know what they are doing. We were so taken back by what great people we had found to help us! The work they did was amazing and they were so great at explaining everything to us - not to mention they got it done very fast. I will recommend RI Renovations to anyone I know needing work done in their home and will contact them going forward for any of our home improvement needs.

I called RI Renovations after a pipe burst in my kitchen. Jon and Lisa worked with my insurance adjuster and I could not have asked for better people! They were always professional, very communicative, kind and personable. All the work was explained to me and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. We had RI Renovations finish our basement about 5 years ago and they did a great job. Everyone was friendly, arrived on time and were very flexible with scheduling. We've just had them back this year to do some repairs in our bathroom. Once again we're very happy with the work and attention to what we needed done. I would definitely recommend them.

We had an appointment for 8:00am Saturday April 25th 2015 and they never showed up. I worked late last night, this is my only day off and I woke up early as this was supposedly their only appointment available. No one showed up, no one called me and no one answered at their office. I explained this matter was of high importance but there was no integrity here.
