Residential Mortgage

This was my second loan with Carrie and will always continue to do business with her. I grew up in Kodiak and my parents bought their home through Carrie and they highly recommend that I use her as my lender for my first mortgage in 2013. Since then my parents have gotten another mortgage with her and so have I.
Carrie makes the process smooth and painless and I know that I'm in good hands. Any questions I had were answered promptly and in terms that a layperson can understand. I had a time crunch to close and move and Carrie facilitated that and assured that earliest possible closing date would coincide with my schedule to keep a roof over my head. Carrie built a great rapport and communication stream with my realtor and they worked great together to make sure all the necessary steps were completed thoroughly for the projected closing date.
Carrie's 30+ years of experience lending and being one of the few lenders in Kodiak in that time is a testament to her operation and dedication to getting people into their home. She always had my best interest in mind and was not only just processing the loan, she made an effort to help me understand the whole process and the inner workings of the loan I was getting.
As far as the process itself, it was super easy with the phone app from Residential Mortgage to input the information to get pre-qualified, upload documents, and e-sign. The app also allowed me to track the progress of the loan and it would send notifications on actions that I needed to complete. Carrie would follow-up and double check that I got the tasks to complete. Overall the app provided a great means to streamline the process over the distance of being in a different part of the state.
