Had a shower and bathroom floor remodel done, and it came out just like I envisioned it, a credit to Matt's ability to turn an idea into a finished work. Matt is a talented and diligent professional, and he and Roger got right to it each morning and didn't let up until the day's work was done.

Company owner John also lent a good deal of advice and helped make the whole process less stressful than it might have been, including taking calls from me on a Saturday while he obviously was engaged in family activities.

They were very polite, and took care that everything was cleaned when they left for the day. Our bathroom turned out so well and I would absolutely use them for any future work we need done.

Called to get a quote for a small bathroom remodel. The guy was semi friendly however wished to come back out a different day to talk to me and my spouse about the price and sign paperwork. I emailed a 4 days later saying we were shopping around and would like a quote before signing. He called and was kind of rude about the situation and said he didn't have it yet. As we went to end the conversation he just hung up without saying goodbye. Like do you want my business or not?

In the summer of 2023, I acquired a house under unforeseen circumstances. The house had a finished basement and for the ground floor, the outside walls and roof was up and that was about it. At the time, it was an unfinished house that I knew I wanted to complete and take to the finish line but I knew I needed help and needed a contractor. With that, I contacted Renewit! Home Improvements and the rest is history.

From Day 1, John and his crew were awesome to work with. Throughout the process, John always kept me in the loop on what was happening with the house. He would call and text telling me about next steps, expected days and times for subcontractors to show up at the house, statuses of deliveries, and more. He would periodically come out to the house to ensure all work was going as expected and as planned. It's clear John takes pride in his company and the work it produces.

As for his crew, they were great! Mat and Eli were the two guys that worked on the house most of the time. At the end of the workday, they would always clean up. There were never tools and materials strung all over the place. They were always receptive to any questions or comments I had and overall, did very good work! John and his crew even let me work in some sweat equity by priming and painting the walls as well as staining the doors and trim.

My house project was not easy, especially because of there being metal studs and floor joists to work with. Even with that, the team took the project like a bull by the horns and ran with it.

I would recommend Renewit! Home Improvements to anyone who needs a home project completed. You won't regret it!

Really great experience! We recently had Renewit complete an addition to our Lake House. I was consistently impressed with 1) punctuality, they showed up in time, or early every day 2) professionalism…personable, knowledgeable team, left site clean and orderly. 3) end result was beautiful. We had large windows and sliders to allow for lake view, great products and quality work. We were fortunate to have Matt Murphy and Eli doing the project, who were fantastic. John Rowland provided, drawings pricing and oversight and always let us know what potential changes to original plan would mean to budget. Overall a great experience, which is not always the case with major projects.

Renewit did a phenomenal job on our bathroom remodel! We moved into our home 2 years ago with carpet and peeling wallpaper in our kids bathroom. Our four children share this bathroom so the problem only worsened. The corners of the carpet where the floor and tub met were black. I couldn't wait to have this project completed! Renewit removed and replaced our tub, the sub flooring, and drywall that had become moist and rotted. We now have a brand new tub and shower and beautiful water resistant hard floors. Renewit exceeded our expectations! I cannot fail to mention that the gentlemen who worked in our home were kind, polite, and always cleaned up after themselves. That stuck out to me! We highly recommend the Renewit team and thank them for their work!

I called and spoke to John and I asked if they take work in my area and he stated yes what do you need done. As I started to explain the work that was needed I thought we were just disconnected. So I called back and he answered again I started to explain once more and then we were once again disconnected. I don't think so. I was clearly hung up on as he did not try and call me back. How unprofessional. I even asked him if he wasn't interested in the job to just let me know and was hung up on both times. I'm not even pissed about it, kinda think it's funny. His loss on a $25,000.00 dollar job.

We love our new front doors. Thanks to John and his crew. It is beautiful, all installer ratings were fives. If you guys have the extra paint, we need to touch up the lock plate.We would definitely use Renewit again!

We called Renewit for a quote on an addition and a couple additional things here and there. Within a few days John came out and after looking at our house explained that an addition wouldn’t work with our roof. We then asked him to just give us a quote on a wall removal. He said he would get back to us. He did tell us he picks and chooses jobs that he wants to do. That’s fine, it’s his business but we never heard another word from him. No quote. No call. No email. He could have at least called us to tell us he was not interested in the job instead of never hearing back from him.

Renewit recently did our bathroom remodel. We are very pleased with our interactions with everyone from the initial meeting with Jason to the work being done by Matt, James and James. They all were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The ownerJohn was always willing to answer any questions and kept us informed of the process. Our bathroom looks awesome and we would definitely recommend this company.

The Renewit! team turned my unfinished basement into a dream space with separate rooms and a half bath. Matt and Josh worked so hard on this project, and their effort and attention to detail really shows. Each evening they cleaned up after themselves, which gave me an opportunity to sneak into the basement to look around. THANK YOU (to the whole team) for making this renovation run smoothly from start to finish.

RenewIt came in and laid roughly 1800 square feet of laminate in approximately a week's time. Matt, the super on the job did a knock out job. I’m in contract with a home and called and spoke to John. I asked if he would come look at a couple things for me and give me a professional opinion/estimate. A window won’t stay up on its own, add a condensate drip to a furnace & check out my roof from the attic. He declined and said he doesn’t do that stuff, I asked what services he offered. He said he does kitchen remodels, bathroom, some roofing not inspections for banks. I said again, this is for myself not an inspection & that I just need an estimate and utilize his services likely in the summertime.

If you are in the same boat, I don’t recommend this company.

I recently had a remodeling job done in my home that included my living room, kitchen, office, bedroom, hallway and bathroom. The difference in how my home looks is so drastic that it looks like another house! The work and craftsmanship is beautiful. I highly recommend this company for whatever you may need done, and I will be having the outside of my house redone as well in a few weeks! Very impressed and pleased.

Needed subfloor repaired from water damage from previous owner. The guys were friendly and professional. They had it done in no time. I am extremely happy with the work and would highly recommend Renewit.

The crew showed up when they were supposed to and did an amazing job.Even better than I had expected considering my house.They new windows and siding. When they found the walls weren't right they fixed them to make sure the siding was correct. Will have them back for more jobs in the future.

John, the owner of the company was very diligent, quick, and friendly. He personally came out to our house, sat down with us and heard what our vision for our kitchen remodel was. He came up with the perfect drawing for what verbally and mentally we were trying to explain. He stayed in touch throughout the whole project, and answered any questions we had.

They were very Fair with pricing and working with our budget. They gave us a rough start time in beginning of june but we’re able to start may 10th! Then they said it would take about two weeks to finish. They finished everything in one week! The time frame was based around our products coming in from being ordered and them working around that. But things were showing up either early or on time and the install crew and John were able to keep working, and working ahead of the schedule they gave us.

I also wanted to say that the crew he had attached to our project (Matt, Dave) were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and overall people you felt like you’ve known your whole life. They were overly friendly with my 3 sons. Now granted my sons always love to “help” me when I’m working on stuff so they typically just kind of wander over. Matt and Dave would talk to them, let them watch what they were doing and even at times give children version teaching lessons on what they were doing (Dad can do a lot but kitchen remodels isn’t one of them) of course me and my wife were worried and constantly trying to call the boys back to let the guys do their work. But that didn’t phase Dave or Matt at all. They had the upmost respect for my family.

They were always polite, friendly and very talkative to everyone. Like I said all the way from John to the install crew it felt like they were long time family friends.

These guys have absolutely earned the review and rating I’m giving. We have a bathroom remodel project and a basement finishing project we are looking to do in the future. Hands down these guys have the jobs and we are even more eager now to get things rolling for those.

Remodels are very stressful, I’ve done a couple. This process with Renewit, John, and his crew was easy, fun, probably one of the least stressful things I’ve done!

We had John and his crew totally strip the kitchen and rebuild it, and replace 2 large outside doors. The project lead was Matt, who did fantastic work. We could not be more happy with the service we received from Renewit Home Improvement. Our home makeover was done with excellent workmanship and completed within 6 weeks. Highly recommended honest business! They were always on time, friendly, and professional! I made the cardinal mistake most new homeowners make and hired someone who DID NOT know what they were doing. My bathroom was left in shambles snd a total disaster. These men gutted the nightmare and completely renovated and fixed all of the MANY problems that I was left with. I felt comfortable having them in my home when I was not there. They cleaned up after themselves every day and were in constant contact with me to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them again on my next home improvement project!

Had half wall removed in kitchen. Tore out counters... Sink... Plumbing.Replaced with granite countertops. New undermount sink. New faucet. New plumbing. Rewired and moved outlets. Took down track lights and replaced with 3 pendents. Added a pop-up 4 outlet in countertop. Removed all debris. Cleaned up. Would use them again.

We had some drywall and wood work done by this group. Tom was great. Kind courteous and cleaned up after the job was done. Great company and great employees!

2020 service: I recently had work completed by this company again. Jason helped me work through the estimate process and my assigned contractors were Matt and Jess. They did a wonderful job renovating the master bathroom. This included installing subflooring, tile work, shower door install, facet install and plumbing work. They kept the workspace clean and communicated clearly during the process. Highly recommend this power duo!

We cannot say enough positive things about John and his team. From start to finish of our bathroom remodel project, John and his team were professional and their work was exceptional. Our project was extensive, requiring a complete demolition of the original bathroom including removing walls, tubs, and showers, rerouting plumbing, window replacement, and rebuilding a new and improved bathroom. We couldn't have been happier with Matt and Tom, the two contractors who managed our project. They offered advice and guidance throughout the project and it was obvious that they took great pride in their work. They worked on our project the entire time until it was completed...never leaving us to go work on another project. Also, they were always here when they said they would be. We contacted Renewit with only a short window of time we had to get new floors done in almost our whole house. They came out one week and had the floors done the next week! They turned out amazing! We had some issues with our trim work and they fixed it right away with no hesitation or question. We are so thankful to Renewit for such a good timely service! The main guy working on our floors was Matt. He was very nice and answered all our questions. This is our first home and they helped us make it look so much better! Thank you Renewit!

We hired Renewit when we learned that our house had major structural issues. They were able to resolve the situation creatively and for far less money than I expected to pay. Then we hired them to replace a deck and siding on the house and garage. Everything was done with care and precision. The workers were professional and courteous. They showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would, and cleaned up afterwards. I will hire them again when it's time to do some additional updates.

I had a great experience using Renewit! I tried having multiple companies come give estimates, many didn’t even show, but John arrived when he said he would and provided an estimate, expected start dates and completion dates. Renewit completed all of the work and left the workspace cleaner than before they started. Tom did a great job on my 60 sq ft of ceramic tiling. He was polite and a hard worker. I felt very comfortable knowing the job was going to be done right and look great with Renewit at the helm.

Renewit is an outstanding business with John at the helm. The house, exterior was in really bad shape and John and his crew transformed it into a lovely home with new siding, gutters and roof installed in a very short time frame. I had very minor concerns and John was more than happy to take care of them, he even recommended items being replaced for a better quality finish. I am so pleased with the Renewit's Crew, Larry was professional and very polite. Clean up was more than I expected but John did say they would. Our new 32x20 deck has just been completed by John, Jason and the “Renewit” crew! We couldn’t be more pleased. From getting info and estimates to final clean up, they were professional the entire time. They were punctual and put up with ALL of our questions wearing a smile. I would highly recommend this company. They perform good work and are always readily available to discuss your project. They remodeled my mother-in-law's house (kitchen, living room, bathroom addition on main floor with new windows) and they did excellent work. She loves it!

I would NEVER recommend this company. They put a front door in my mothers house and knocked out her electric doorbell, landscaping lights, alarm system and camera. We had to pay the alarm people to come out and fix it. We then bought a battery doorbell because we didn’t want to be aggravated in calling an electrician to fix the wiring. The the electrician needs to knock out the drywall and rewrite the wall. We have gone back to solar landscaping lights. They also hung a door to our basement that is not level thus, will not close and we need someone to come and rehang the door casing. They also stated they would put under counter lights in the kitchen and it was our impression that they would be professionally done. Instead they put in “plug in lights” that we could have bought at Meier’s and for less than $700! I’m not sure it they just rip off the elderly but regardless their work is horrible and has caused & cost us more than the original job. Don’t use this company.

Renewit just renovated just about my whole house. The work was exceptional with great attention to detail and professionalism at every level. The guys in my home were friendly, considerate , helpful, respectful, and always professional. Their work area was cleaned every day before they left. Shout out to Eddie and Jeremy for treating my home like their own. John was extremely accommodating as this job continually expanded!! I will ( and have) recommend them to anyone needing home remodel work.

John and the employees at RenewIt are top-notch. They installed a new kitchen countertop and backsplash as well as new vanity tops and faucets. John & the Renew It! team did a thorough and timely job on our basement waterproofing project. The price was fair, the contract clear, and all aspects of the job were explained in detail prior to starting work. We had heavy rain the day after they finished and finally, our basement remained bone dry. We had a great experience with Renewit! I called around a few places to replace our outdated and leaking shower, and they were all booked out a few months. Renewit was able to get in to replace it within 3 weeks of first calling them to get a quote. John was extraordinarily helpful, and came to our home to explain how everything would work and what the prices were for everything. We were quoted that it would take 3-5 days to do the work, and it only took 3. Eddie (I hope I'm spelling that right) was super polite and kept us updated during the process. Super satisfied, and will definitely be giving them a call for our next renovations! These are our before and afters!

Had vinyl siding installed, a purchase process that was refreshing. The only hard part was choosing the color. Quality material and the crew that installed it was amazing. Attention to detail was the hallmark of their work. They cleaned up as they went and fixed discrepancies as they found them. I highly recommend

I had an appointment with this company today at 1 o'clock at 1:20 they had not showed so I called to see if they were coming because I have a granddaughter who has a doctors appointment at 2::20 and needed to leave my home by 2 o'clock when I called their company at 1:20 to see if they were coming they said Ah ya sorry bout that we better reschedule they weren't even going to call me to let me know that they weren't coming or anything I said her all morning waiting on them when I could have been doing other things I told them no thank you I will not reschedule with you and will not ever recommend this company to anyone that was very rude and badd business

They did their work in a professional manner. I was very pleased with the outcome. If something was not right, they were eager to fix it. I would recommend them or use them again.

My house was not ventilated properly and caused the roof to start to rot. Renewit took the time to make sure that the roof was done correct, so I would not have the issue again. They replaced all the decking and installed ventilation at the top and bottom of the roof. They also installed baffles to allow air to flow. Renewit had a great group of Amish that worked on my roof. They finished the job with new gutters.

We asked Renewit to redo both bathrooms after they successfully installed flooring for us. They were called back for a reason - high satisfaction with their work. They did quality work in all areas, even reconstructing air ducts for us. The workers were courteous and competent. Management communicated clearly and often. Pricing was fair and honest.

Had a metal roof put on my house. Very friendly and polite crew. Great work and easy process from start to finish. Replaced 30 square in a day and a half.

We cannot stress how pleased we are with the work done by this company. Our basement has been flooding with water every time we had a hard rain. We called John Rowland, the builder of our home in 2002, to see if he could find out why this was happening. He came out to see where the water was coming in. He was able to find the problem and immediately told us what had to be done. He gave us a quote for supplies and labor, which we felt was more than fair and well within our budget. His workers cleaned up all the mess for us in the basement. Within a week they finished up everything. John is very trustworthy, professional and easy to work with. The total cost was exactly the quote he'd given us. They went out of their way to do the job over and above what we expected. We highly recommend Renewit! Home Improvements for any one who is looking for a reputable contractor you can trust.

We built our custom home with John and are very pleased with the quality and the building process. He made it easy to create and modify our floor plan. We were able to incorporate changes while completing the project on time. He has a great relationship with his subcontractors and they delivered good quality throughout the home. We would recommend talking to John before selecting your next contractor.

In 2004, we were looking to purchase a house. We challenged our realtor with a list of items that we would like in our home. After viewing several homes, she called and informed us of a newly built home listed that day. She asked us to find five things that were not on “the list”. This home was built by John Rowland and we closed on the home within the month. John was expedient in resolving any walk through issues or concerns prior to closing. His professionalism impressed us more by resolving small item issues even after our closing.

While we were not involved in the design and building of the home, it has most everything we wanted. Obviously we were impressed on our first visit. We liked the lot appearance, exterior design and many interior extras, including finished wood trim, solid poplar wood doors, hardwood floors, gas fire place, second story laundry room, bonus room, and a basement ready to be finished.

A three car garage was a plus, but not enough. About a year later, we had John design and build a de-attached garage to match the house. He was right on with his design, materials, estimates and he completed it on time.

Our neighbors had watched our house being built and they were impressed enough with John’s quality workmanship that they contracted their new home with him.

Since that time, we have enjoyed our home and used several of the sub-contractors that John used to build the house. His building team pays close attention to detail and their workmanship which has helped to make this house our home.

I think the best review that I can give John and his company, Renewit!, is that I have used John not once but for 3 different projects.

We used John and his company to build our home after extensively researching many general contractors. John's work is second to none and working with him was the best decision we could have made for building our home. We found John to be honest, hard working, and readily available -- all of which are essential when working with a contractor. We were so happy with the experience that we used Renewit! for 2 other large home improvement projects.

Our next project with Renewit! and John was finishing our basement. As with building our home, the work was completely custom and done to our specifications. It was also done completely on time and on budget.

Our most recent project was an outdoor retaining wall and patio. Again, we worked with John to design what we wanted from the ground up and his company delivered. There was one small problem during the job that was not the fault of Renewit!, but John took it upon himself to completely correct the problem that wasn't even his fault in the first place! As with our other projects, John made sure it was done right and as fast as possible.

John Rowland completed the project as he stated. He was on time with his appointment and completed the project when he said he would.

Our issues have been resolved.

Excellent job re-shingling my house. I was provided a complete competitive quote that covered everything required to do the job right. The work was complete in one day and the clean-up was great. This was one of the easiest small construction projects I have ever experienced. Summary, competitive, on time, done right and great clean up. I will use again in the future.

We built our current home with him and are very pleased. He was easy to work with during both the planning and building stages. The work was done on time and was definitely quality. Most of all he is trustworthy and that can be hard to find. We are planning on using him to finish our basement sometime in the next few years.
