Window and door installation was fast. Workers were friendly and professional and cleaned up at the END OF EACH DAY. I had one little hiccup with one of the doors after a heavy rain, they returned, listened to my concerns and fixed the problem. We had more rain and the issue no longer exists. They also let me know to call if anything else popped up. Very happy with this experience and I will use them again in the future

The windows are great, and A&L did a professional job of installing them and were very easy to work with. I would recommend them to everyone.

I can’t say enough about the Renewal by Andersen team at A&L in Grand Forks. They went out of their way to help me choose the best style of windows for my sunroom to give me the most light, match the style in the main house and choose the best windows to work with my dogs that tended to scratch the screens in my previous crank out windows. They were patient making as many visits to my home as necessary during the design phase til we got just what I wanted. Complicating my order, I needed more inches of depth in my old window jams to accommodate the new motorized blinds I had my mind set on…and they made it happen! The windows themselves are beautiful and operate so easily. Installation went quickly and the installers were neat, courteous and
knowledgeable. What sets them apart is they install their own windows instead of contracting the installation out. The whole process was seamless. The great warranty sold me as well. I highly recommend the Grand Forks Renewal by Andersen team with absolutely no reservations!!!

A&L replaced four bedroom windows and outside window trim for us. The challenge was to match our woodwork and the older trim. They succeeded! They were quick, efficient & did a super job with their cleanup. We are extremely pleased with the work they did for us.

The finishing carpenter was superb. He led the project, was on time, and worked diligently throughout the day. A&L matched our custom woodworking interior trim stain exactly to the rest of the house when replacing the trim. A&L was professional and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. The entire project turned out perfectly. The windows we purchased were triple pane and they have held out the suns heat this summer. We have not had a winter with them yet, but so far everything is great.

A & L Siding replaced all 4 of our basement windows, including one window that was widened from the original window. They showed up with what was a rolling wood shop, to enable them to do any work needed on site. It took about 3 days, to install, and finish the outside and inside of all 4 windows.

They cleaned up the house every day before we got home, there was no garbage or debris left on site. They took all the old windows away, no need for us to take them to the dump. The workmanship was excellent, and it was such a pleasure to have the work done without complaints or excuses. Contractors often have to be reminded, and prodded to get work done, but not A & L, i'm very pleased with them. I would gladly have them replace the remaining windows on my house.

We had our shingles, siding and windows replaced by A & L Siding over the past 18 months. We are very happy with the work they did. Eric was very easy to work with and we have had no issues whatsoever. All the workers were very professional and efficient, it didn't take them very long to complete their jobs. We would definitely recommend them.

Don't know about the business but you might get backed over by one of their employees in their parking lot and then blamed for it by her even though it wasn't your fault. I recommend going anywhere else. Also I brought this up the the employees working and they seemed like they could care less.

Staff is wonderful! Helped get correct measurements, helped us choose the correct door for our needs. Arrived on time and the installation went quick and everything was clean and tidy when they left. Definitely recommend.

Still can’t believe how fast and clean the install went. When I’m ready to replace windows yours will be the first number I call.

What a waste of time. Called for a repair on my roof (6 shingles). Meagan came over and looked at it, took a sample shingle ( i told her i already have the shingles ) and said she would give me an estimate. 2 days no word and i call back and they tell me shes at lunch and will give her the message to call back. Well 3rd day I call Maverick roofing and they get me in the next day. Still no word from A&L.

If you don't want the work just say so. If it's too small of a job just say so. But zero communication after the initial appointment is just bad business.

These guys installed a set of french doors (patio door) for me. I was a bit nervous about putting the french style as opposed to the conventional sliding door but this Andersen french door set is amazing and AnL did an excellent job installing it and removing the door. They also installed a front large window that I thought would be a nightmare and they made it look easy. Couldn't be happier with the work. If you have a desire to upgrade windows or doors I really would only recommend AnL Siding.

I had 6 Renewal by Andersen double hung windows installed and one picture window. The difference in my home was immediate and wonderful. What I was most impressed with was the customer service. The project was completed promptly and beautifully. I was amazed at the speed and attention to detail from the installation of the windows through the trimming process. I recently had another window installed and recieved the same great service as the prevous installation. Again I am very happy with the professional way my project was handled even though a small project..

My wife and i love the windows. We put all new Renewal by Andersen windows in and it has helped a lot with wind draft, heating and cooling. They look beautiful and function perfect.

This review comes as a result of another day of condensation on our 3-year-old A-Series windows. Each morning from November till early May we have to wipe the condensation from our windows. The door are Therma-Tru and they are completely dry. The Andersen Window Co. says the humidity in the home is the issue. We have gone to great lengths to measure humidity and control it to eliminate the problem but guess what. Same ** different day. It’s just frustrating that Andersen will spend millions to explain the issues that arise from too much humidity on their site but won't do anything to fix the windows we purchased. A contractor we know told us they heard at a trade show that the glass in the windows is defective... But it seems we are just people that work hard for our money so we don't matter. No one will listen if it going to cost time and money to fix the issue.

This company has been doing work on my neighbors house for a week. While I can't comment on the quality of their work, I feel it's worth it to comment on the quality of their service. I share a driveway with or neighbor and because of that, this company has been completely blocking access to our house and despite multiple requests for them to move, they haven't. So I have to park my car in the street in the hot sun and lug my infant back and forth and put her in a smoking hot car. Nice, guys.
