One of the best companies I have ever used for services. From Nico coming out multiple times to tarp our roof so we didn't have anymore damage to the best price from 7 companies. Crew came out at 8 this morning and we're completely done with the job by 1pm with excellent clean up. New roof with gutters and guards. Bob and Danielle answered all questions we had. Great family owned company. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend if your looking for a new roof.

These guys made searching for a roof replacement very easy! They were patient and even tried to work with our insurence to help us out there, nico is a great guy and the men that worked on the house were fast & respectful. Would recommend these guys to everyone!

I was very pleased with the entire project from start to finish. I called for an estimate and Nico Hurd called back same day and came out the next day. All the work was extremely professional. Clean up was fabulous. Nico checked on the work regularly and kept me updated on progress. I would definitely recommend Remer Construction.

I am posting this review on behalf of myself and my mother. My mother has been needing a new roof for quite some time however was worried about the cost and where the funds would come from. We found Remer Construction from a referral online from a past client. Prior to seeing this referral online my mother had received multiple quotes from other roofing companies and all of the quotes she had received were very high and outside of her means of what she could afford. My mother truly felt very defeated. I recommended to my mother after seeing the Remer review poster online that we at least reach out and have them come give us a quote. I had hopes that maybe they could get us to the right price point for what my mom would be able to afford to replace the roof she desperately needed. From the minute Nico showed up to the house we knew this is the company we would be going with. In a market that is super competitive and honestly overwhelming as the customer you want to feel like you’re making the right financial move. From the first interaction we had with Nico we knew we were making the right decision and knew he was truely here to help us. He went above and beyond with us showing us all of the different options we had and educated us on which option is better and why. This was extremely valuable to us because we had never been shown any of this from any other company. All we had delt with prior was high pressure sales. This was a COMPLETELY different feel. Nico made us feel at ease and when making a huge purchase like this that feeling is so important. He helped us pick out every aspect of the roof and helped us schedule delivery and install. This entire experience has been so amazing and I can’t thank Nico and Remer Construction enough. They were able to get the price point down by thousands of dollars and by far had the best customer service. When the roof was installed they had a huge team that showed up and got it done so quickly. Everyone on that team was so friendly and helpful. They even helped my mother move a couple things in her yard that she was unable to lift that needed to be taken to the dumpster. I can not say enough great things about this company and Nico! If you need a new roof or anything construction related this is the company that you need in your life! Trustworthy and customer service driven people! Call Nico for all of your needs. Great experience from meeting with Nico to the roof installation. Christian and crew was wonderful to work with as well. Job done in one day with a large crew! Team work at its finest. Mess cleaned up, other than the new roof wouldn't have even known they were here!!

Remer was easy to deal with, communicated every step of the way, and was cheaper than numerous other quotes I received!

They did a great job. They said they'd be done by 2:00 and I'll be darned if they weren't!!! Very nice clean up, and very professional. I wish I could complain about something but I really can't!!! Will use again.

The last big storm we had, peeled a front corner of the shingles on my roof back. There was a lot of damage and the insurance company agreed that the roof needed to be replaced. I had 3 contractors come out to take a look at it and submit an estimate. Remer’s rep Nico was extremely professional and available for questions and troubleshooting. The crew was here this morning as promised. They did an awesome job. My roof looks fabulous. The crew also cleaned up the debris in the yard and on the deck. I could not be happier. Remer installed our roof this week and I highly recommend them in every category . The sales person Nico did an excellent job helping us understand our situation based on pictures of our roof. Bob Remer the owner was in contact with us through the process, coordinating the project and delivering on time as promised. Crew was polite, professional and efficient. Highly recommend Remer Construction for any roofing needs! They were quick in coming out to do the quote, and to get the job done. It took them less than 4 hours to do my roof and it looks amazing! Can't say enough good things about Remer Construction. From meeting Nico for the estimate to talking to Bob on the phone. Very friendly people. They came out today on 4/2/25 with about 20 workers who were all very hard workers and very friendly. They got here about 1 and they finished up about 5. Couldn't be happier with the job and the clean up afterwords. Here are some before and after pictures. We went with Owens Corning Black Sable and I'm glad we did. It looks awesome.

PHENOMINAL company! From the moment Bob came out for the quote, to Danielle helping me narrow down the color I was looking for, they were amazing to work with. The crew-Justin, Mo, and Xa were the most gentlemanly contractors that I have ever had at my home. Even working in the frigid cold and snow, they were pleasant. I am pretty OCD about my home, there were things that I questioned, but Bob and the guys made everything make sense to me. This is my first roof replacement, so I had no idea what to expect. Once the job was complete, they took their time...truly worked hard to clean everything up and make sure my home, yard, and neighbors yards were clean. If these guys are this kind and thorough in this cold, then it speaks to their character. If you want a company with integrity, Remer Construction is that company! Their price was competitive and definitely worth choosing over the competition for what we got in the end. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

What an amazing job. From start to finish, everything went very smooth. Nico was great! He came over after normal hours not only to provide a fair estimate, but also again to help us pick out the color for our shingles. Very easy to work with and kind people.

Incredible work done by Remer for our new roof and gutters. We absolutely love the look of everything and has withstood the storms that we experience in SE Michigan. Very professional and prompt with everything they did for us. Nico was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and got us the best bang for our buck. The team completing the work was in and out in a timely manner and we couldn’t have asked for more. They left the house and yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. I’d rate them 6-stars if I could!

I found the Remer crew to be friendly and extremely hard working group. No problems arrose during installation and everything that was discussed at bid time was done as we agreed. Great cleanup job and using tarps tge protected my plants . Several comments from my neighbors regarding the work ethic of the crew and how nice the installation looked .i would highly recommend Remer to my friends and associates .

Remer Construction is helping my octogenarian mother, living on her own for the first time in her life, with replacing her roof. They helped work within her limited budget to get the project going, and were willing to help her out with fixing a hole in her brick work (where the porch meets the house) at no extra charge. This helps to prevent any potential rodent infestation and gives my mother, and her family, peace of mind.

Nico reached out to me on Facebook and gave me a very fair quote on a full roof replacement. He was super attentive and answered all my questions promptly, there was no pressured sale or pushy tactics what so ever. I followed up with Danielle in the office for a couple questions and one small issue. She completely resolved the issue same day and also was very attentive as well These folks are great, they do nice work and give you that mom and pop shop experience.

Remer construction was great! Working with them was so beyond easy. The communication was great. Everything was no nonsense and we appreciated that after several long-winded quote “appointments”. There were some scheduling hiccups along the way that were no fault of anyone’s and the whole Remer crew worked to make everything easy for us and we wouldn’t have known any better! The weather was gross and nasty and they still came out to make sure our roof was done before the real snow came. We are so grateful! Everything looks great, they were fast and thorough, and the pricing was something we “first time roof buyers” felt good about! I will be recommending Remer Construction to anyone who will listen! Bob squeezed are roof replacement in as quick as he was able to, we had an active leak inside the house and after the entire roof was replaced he had his team came in and replaced the entire ceiling in our family room. Bob and his team went above and beyond to get the roof replaced, ceiling completely redone, painted, trimmed and the carpet cleaned in a timely matter. We gave his whole team full access to the house when they needed it, even going as far as leaving the house completely unlocked for them while we were at work. We didn't think twice about his team coming in and out to complete the entire job from beginning to end.

I was driving behind two of their work vehicle with a full crew of guys throwing several two liters out of the window along with a bunch of other trash. If their employees are that immature then I highly doubt their work and craftsmanship is any good. Do better and respect the community that pays you. You'll never get my business

Very professional, quick and clean. We had roof damage due to wind, they made the process very easy. He helped out with the claim process and they only use the Owen's Corning roof system. Other companies wanted to sell us on a teir system where you pay more for the Owen's Corning. Plus he was still the best price. If you need a roof or anything else call Remer Construction you won't be disappointed.

Remer Construction is an honest company. I had a roof replacement done at my home, they came out quick, turnaround was quick and Robert, Neco & his crew were great. They were very professional and helpful beyond my roof repair & I would definitely recommend them!

We had a few estimates for our new roof, however when Bob came to do our estimate we knew almost instantly he was the man for the job. Bob and his team did a fantastic job tearing off and re-roofing my 1840's farmhouse. They worked through the elements of snow and cold to deliver an amazing looking transformation to my home. Top notch operation. I look forward to working with their team on future projects.

3/14/2020:

I had a water leak in a very odd spot between my porch and my brick wall. Bob came over and said he'd have to remove some siding and the flashing to see what was happening. As it turns out, the original builder failed to install anything between the plywood wall and the siding. No weather paper was installed and no ice guard or water blocker. Bob's team carefully extracted the siding and flashing, down to the wooden side of the house. Installed ice guard AND weather paper, and reinstalled the siding and flashing. It looks like they were never here.

His team policed their trash cleaned up the site better than how they found it when they arrived. They we very polite. I wish I could have gone out to talk with them. But this COVID-19 stuff, if I do have it, I didn't want to spread it.

Thank you Remer Construction for you quick work. Well worth the reasonable fee, for all the folks and equipment and quick response timing. Thank you all.

Update: 2/28/2023

A new item I had water coming in my window seam at the top of the picture window on the second story of my house. Bob sent over Chad and a coworker and they found that the caulking has opened up, with the driving rain it was penetrated the weather seal and leaked into my home. They quickly patched the holes in the caulking and we here and done in under an hour.
