Red Roof Inn Muscle Shoals

Positive: Location. Close to hospital where I was visiting sick family. Negative: Bug problem in the room and the shower was dirty.

Know the owners really nice they will bend over backwards to please a customer it's in a good location close to restaurant I would say walmart but not anymore but they almost right across the street from Publix
x which where I go now pay a little more but great customer service but you can always find someone that's willing to help plus take your groceries to your car for you and you want get ran over by the people pushing those blue carts around shopping for other people

We needed a pet friendly hotel in Muscle Shoals, AL and booked online. Unexpectedly we needed to check in a little early and the staff was able to accommodate us with a simple request. The room was simple but clean and the solid surface floor was an unexpected bonus. The management and staff are excellent with a great attitude!

I was surprisingly “SHOCKED”, apparently management has changed… things weren’t the same as before, the room was clean and it was “SMOKING” but the room didn’t have any smoking smell, the location of the room was great the staff was very friendly and helpful and the deposit that was charged came back to me at checkout, I will be a repeat customer from now on

We were very pleased with our stay. Nothing fancy, but clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Excellent value for a good night’s sleep, especially for travelers with pets.

Room was ok, not enough towels for per person, outlets did not work or had no cover plates, asked for toilet paper as thry gave us only 1/4 roll - never showed up so I had to go to offer after dark to get it. Then today when leaving I needed to use bathroom and roaches stuck all over sticky glue trap.

The man who checked us in did not engage with us at all. Spoke very little English. Never told us the price of the room, just asked for our credit card. We had to leave a cash deposit which I found weird. The room was clean, but there were cigarette burns on the shower and there was little hot water, so we had to skip a shower. The bathroom door has a huge hole busted in on the backside. Just a very strange experience

Been very accommodating so far been here since Friday will be here another 3-4 weeks for work. Rooms are clean area is not bad and the staff so far have been friendly and helpful.. only thing is if you have kids or dogs get ground floor room every move you make can be heard by the guest underneath you.

Very affordable place. The new owners are working to get the pool opened, washing machine fixed, and the telephones don't work. We all have our cell phone, anyways. Rooms are very clean.

Good place to stay for couple nights. Nice managers and pleasant stay. Two women alone and we felt very safe. Room was clean, nice laminate flooring, bed comfortable, & linens fine. WiFi worked great. But definitely needs some repair work throughout - baseboard falling off in places, handle in shower fell out, marks on walls and bathroom door, for example. Problem with TV remote and he came immediately and fixed problem. Don't hesitate to stay here next time you need a motel in this area!!

I will never stay here again. This location was chosen due to its location and cost. It was very close to the Muscle Shoals park where my grandson was playing in a tournament. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. The air/heat is terrible and barely works. The rooms look clean upon a quick inspection however you do not want to look too hard. The carpet and drapes are stained. There was dust on the window sill and drapes, the shower head is terrible with no pressure and the tub is in serious need of an upgrade. Last, people were outside our room and outside next door pounding on the doors for 15 minutes. There was a fight. You will not get support from the hotel management. I do not believe the vehicles are safe in this parking lot as there were people (probably drunk) throwing things into the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and stay at Hampton or Holiday Inn.

They charge almost 500 a week an when you been their for so long it seems like the prices goes up more advertising free breakfast with a broken kitchen is funny to me so why is a single night almost 80 for a 2 star motel i dont know it seem like the longer you stay the more money hungry they get we stayed almost 3months an they took almost 4,000 from us for that one cramped up room an when we didnt pay at 11 because they knew our situation they wer threaten to have it paid by that time understandable but if we the only ppl paying thousand i feel it should of been more respect especially being new in town but the only good people was one of the host up front an the house keeper other then that the manger got mad at us because we wer moving an walked in our room with my children was sleeping an he kept a mean face till we left if anything go across the way to days inn they have breakfast coffee as the advertising says also big clean rooms with a friendly staff an also they have couches an desk an nice big beds if anything pass by red roof inn an stop by days inn an they have a reward system that give you free nights plus complimentary things an another things they watch everything at red roof inn that its creepy also i have witnessed them throw out a lady who got robbed on cam on they property an they threw her out an she was from out of town pick wise where u stay because some motels are slum an this is one in muscles shoals al

The beds were hard, it was like sleeping on box springs. The floor in the room had vinyl plank flooring and it was wavy like it had been flooded. The service was great. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. The shower was for a small person.

Under new management, no cards allowed for deposit, cash only. No continental breakfast anymore. The rooms were standard with mini fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board. The beds were very basic and creaky, and the linens made my allergies flare, unfortunately. The worst part of the room we had was that the shower curtain rod was broken in such a way that the curtain could not be closed; it always slid towards the middle of the bar and so water got everywhere.

Ms. Molly was so sweet funny and inviting ❤ we live in Huntsville and had an early flight from muscle shoals regional Airport ✈ we decided to stay close to the airport the night before and decided on the red roof inn...it's literally 3 miles away! everything was clean fresh and roomy! Molly greeted us with a big smile and took care of us❤ she even gave me extra coffee and sweet creamer ❤ Thank You Ms. Molly.

Pleasant stay. Upon entering the room, our direct tv didn’t work and I had to change the HDMI plug into another port on the tv to get it to work. Waited on somebody from the front desk to come and look at it and he said he would be there in 5 minutes but after waiting 15 minutes we had to leave so I started trying to fix it myself and luckily got it going. Other than this issue, it was a good stay. The beds were comfortable and didn’t see any bugs or anything anywhere at any point. The rooms looked to be recently updated. I wish they would have had breakfast of some sort in the lobby in the mornings but all they had was free coffee. It was a cheap, peaceful and enjoyable stay. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay there again.

Stopped at 4am after an extremely long and exhausting day driving from St
Petersburg FL. Bed was comfortable, room was immaculate and well stocked. Only complaint was the very young Indian clerk spoke in a dialect that was incomprehensible and what I thought was an outrageously huge $100 security deposit PLUS an additional $35 deposit I couldn't understand because of the clerks dialect and accent. I was so exhausted from traveling so I paid it and hope for a better explanation when checking out. Because of the extremely late arrival they did allow.a late checkout.

We're clean but the furniture was not so clean ( the chair and ottoman). The customer service was great until the power went out in the hotel due to a storm and I called the hotel and the guy at the front desk told me that I had the wrong number and hung up on me. Then when I went to the front desk to ask about him hanging up. He told me that I had not called the hotel. He had the phone transferred to his cellphone. I was ok with everything until he lied to me and hung up the phone in my face.

Was told the pool was open as well as other amenities listed per web.....upon arrival: just look at the pool; no words necessary. The rooms were FILTHY, sheets stained and dirty, bed bug found in the sheets, no desk although a handy dandy office chair was available in our room, and luckily the previous guests ate watermelon and kindly left a seed in the tub (why would eating in the bathroom be odd?). Very upset that while on the phone, ground floor rooms were available; not the case when checking in. Also the light switches are misleading, better results when screwing light bulb in...seriously, if a person is cutting corners at their job, PLEASE be cautious enough to APPEAR clean!! To top it off, management came out while I was on the balcony questioning why I was out there and proceeded to inform me that I shouldn't be outside??? Hello, non smoking rooms and a dog....I am grown and haven't been told to come in when the street lights come on in 40 yrs; safety I understand and checking to make sure I was OK....the guy was very much my junior and I felt like I was being spied on while walking the dog....CREEPY!!
