I couldn't have hoped for a better handyman to install a wall air conditioner in my home. Troy was knowledgeable about the job, as well as fast to respond and complete the task. He and his son were both friendly and professional and they did an awesome job for me. I would certainly highly recommend them and will call them again when I have the need for a handyman.

I had the best experience with Florence Alabama Handyman! I called regarding an issue with my garbage disposal not working. Troy was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was sure the item needed replacement but he was able to fix it, which saved me nearly $200! He could have just replaced it and charged me for that, as that is what I hired him to do, but he let me know he could fix it! It’s working great now. Honesty and integrity are a rarity these days and I value these qualities in the companies I do business with. I will always contact this company for my household issues going forward and highly recommend them!

I can't say enough about how great Troy is. His prices are great, and his work and craftsmanship is top notch. He installed a new dishwasher, a lockbox, and new furnace filters. Also doing new flooring, and new french doors and much more. His knowledge of real estate come is useful in knowing how to maximize your home value without breaking the bank. If there is something he doesn't do, he has the connections. Such a great resource.

I originally asked for Joist Hangers for my Deck.
He found the deck had a weak spot and placed a support beam along with posts for strength.

The fence shown is a dog run with a gate. The fence is even across the top & bottom even though the ground has a slope.

Extremely reasonable cost for his services.
We plan on having him come back for more work.

I hired Troy long distance to do some major work needed in my family's house in Florence to get it ready to sell. He and his crew repaired a lot of drywall, painted the entire house (including ceilings), pulled up all the carpet, hauled away a lot of junk, and many other things. He even helped with getting some things donated and other stuff put in storage. They were punctual and finished all the work within the timeframe promised. It was difficult managing these renovations without being there but Troy sent pictures on a daily basis to show me the progress which was much appreciated. It's hard to find people with great work ethics these days so I highly recommend Florence Handyman and will use them again if ever needed.

Great group of people to work with! Fair/open with the cost and spreadsheets the cost. Frequent communication and flexible in that most of the interactions can be had through text. To top it off, he informed me of a gas leak! All around nice people!

Shows up and does what he says he will do. If the job is too big or not the right fit he will let you know. The price was fair and the job was done well.

This is the second time I have used Troy and his crew. They do great work and have not overcharged. We are using them to have quite a bit more done. They do great work!

I recently had a fence put up, but later found several things not right with the gates. When I called the owner to come and correct these things, I had no luck at all with him returning. One of the gate latches was actually put on backwards with the lock on the outside. The other gate never had the fitting on the bottom where the rod goes into to hold it in place. I was told by my fence guy that it was the customer’s place to get the bottom part. He said that was the “new” way now! After much frustration with my original fence man, I called Florence Alabama Handyman and spoke to the owner Troy. He was so helpful, and came out to fix what I needed. He was very quick to respond, and did a wonderful job. Going forward I will use this company for many of my upcoming jobs around my house. I strongly and highly recommend this company for your fence as well as any other jobs you might need around your house!

Hard to find someone to tackle a job that has several different types of repairs / updates and then get the type of quality or better as those contractors that “specialize” in one certain trade. After multiple botched attempts to find a reliable handyman in Muscle Shoals, I stumbled upon a god send, Troy! I sent him out to replace a few acoustical ceiling tiles in one of the commercial properties I manage and he went above and beyond to take care of this work for me. We used Troy for a termite damage project and we are very satisfied with his work! He was incredibly responsive, professional, finished everything up far sooner than we expected, and for less than we expected! He did a really great job and my only regret is that we didn't call him sooner.

We had them add a deck down the entire length of our house and add an additional screened in back deck. Quality work at a great price! Before they left they made sure we were totally satisfied with the work done and ofcourse we were and I am a very picky person so that says a lot about their work.

I’ve known the Handyman for 13 years! Worked with him in multiple projects and the most recent was my kitchen. His team helped me renovate my kitchen from top to bottom! It’s gorgeous! I can’t wait to find another project for him to do for me.
