Son of a Carpenter built a custom shelf as part of an existing contemporary wall display. It was a custom job that they had the stain exactly matched to the existing shelving/cabinetry. They also modified some existing kitchen cabinet doors to exactly fit and match the rest of the cabinets for a kitchen in a home we purchased. These guys have knowledge, expertise and vision. Not only is their craftmanship superb, they also clean up after themselves! We have another custom project for them to build storage in our home office. We are looking forward to seeing what they come up with!

Had difficult time finding someone who would come to my place and repair some cabinet doors. This company did respond to phone calls and actually came to my place, assessed the situation and took damaged doors back to their facility and repaired them. They did so in a very short period of time, did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. Punctual and courteous.

I had roll-out shelves made and installed for my kitchen base cabinets. Frank and John delivered and installed them earlier than they originally estimated at a cost that was very competitive with other estimates I received. The shelves were very well made. My floors were protected from damage while the shelves were being installed and the kitchen was left spotless when the job was done. I would recommend their work to anyone.

We designed a built-in entertainment center for our family room with Frank Malinowski, owner of Son of a Carpenter. He was a delight to work with - he had great design ideas, and was meticulous with his work. He was very timely with the installation, and the result is just beautiful! He is very knowledgeable about paint, stain, finishes, and designs - and only uses the best wood. His shop is also very professionally equipped - we were impressed by it all! We plan to use Frank in the future for other custom-design projects.
