Real Improvements

What a nightmare. We hired them to paint the interior of our new-to-us home. Not only did the painters do a terrible job and get paint and overspray everywhere, but management lacked the integrity to take ownership and fix the problems. I'm not sure which was worse, the paint job or dealing with Jay and other management.
The painters they sent sprayed the ceilings white but did not cover the brand new floors. They then sprayed the trim and only covered about a foot out, leaving overspray lines all around. There is overspray on all of the switches, fixtures, windows, etc. I'm daily finding gritty light switches, handles, and other things that should have been covered before they sprayed. The paint lines along the window frames were so uneven they waved out over an inch and a half in some places. The amount of caulk they used along the trim was absurd. It's questionable whether they have any experience painting interiors.
Management at first acknowledged the problems and said they would come and fix things, including hiring someone to clean the floors. Then, the night before we were moving in, they refused to do so. They then denied that any of these problems existed, regardless of the photos and videos I took. Eventually, they did send someone out to work on fixing the trim, and he did the best he could, but over a week and a half later I decided to just finish the work myself rather than continue to have all of our furniture moved to the center of the room. It would've taken well over a week and a half to actually fix the mess the first team caused.
I'm now dedicating some time each day to scrubbing. Today was the window screens that are covered in white paint on the inside. They repeatedly said "luckily it's water-based paint so it'll come right out with water." It has not, and it will not. Not only did we receive a terrible painting job that damaged our new home, but the company's response to the problems was absurd.
This company made moving into our new-to-us house an awful experience. If you are desperate enough to hire them, make sure they don't send Eli, don't expect that management (Jay) will communicate anything to the contractors, keep a very close eye on the work being done at all times, and don't expect any reasonable response if something goes wrong.

Just had our house painted by Real Improvements and it looks great ! They all were easy to work with and very professional. Jay was very good about keeping us informed of what they would be doing and when. Also he quickly answered any concerns or questions. Very reasonable pricing. A great group of people to deal with who definitely care about their customers.
