Rainbow Restoration of Sioux Falls

I have always used Rainbow for carpet cleaning. Bri and Wanda were punctual, professional, and thorough. My carpet looks great! I would highly recommend them.

I work in the hotel industry which has allowed me to have numerous transactions with many contractors in the Sioux Falls area. I must say that I was very impressed with Rainbow Restoration from the very first phone call to schedule an on site estimate with myself thru the completed services provided. They were always on time for appointments. They were professional in appearance and performance in the eyes of guest stand with the hotel. What they said they could do they did. And there is absolutely no hesitation or push back when I added extra tasks that were not in the original bid. If you are taking the time to read this review you have obviously came across many contractors that cannot do any of the above. The estimate was the cost, there was no attempts to upsell anything or pressure to add extra services at any time. I highly recommend that you take my review to heart because it is hard to impress me and rainbow restoration as done that so I am taking the time to write a review on their behalf which I rarely do. At any point you have any concerns after securing a contract with rainbow restoration all you have to do is bring it up to their attention and they will handle the situation until you are satisfied.

Had Water in the Basement when we had all that rain a few weeks ago and they came very quickly and were able to dry things out quickly. Unfortunately I had a water problem in a basement room on Memorial weekend. Rainbow was called to mitigate the issue. They were quick to respond, worked hard,, and had the mitigation started in a very timely manner. Follow up procedures were done also timed well and consistently to keep drying progressing well. All staff were careful, considerate, and respectful. They handled the job excellently and professionally. I came home to a flooded basement at 6pm and Rainbow was at my house pumping out water within 90 minutes. Their employees were so kind, courteous, and professional. They helped me move all my belongings out of the flooded area and even disposed of things for me. They also worked directly with my insurance company to get payment and paperwork all taken care of. 100% recommend them!

We received a calm from our rental property about a toilet leaking from 2nd story bathroom all over a bottom unit. We called Rainbow and even though it was 11pm they were over right away to help clean up the damage. They were able to get fans going so fast, we were able to save the carpet (since it was all fresh water). The team made the process so easy and helped us understand how everything would work!

Rainbow did a fantastic job! They worked with my schedule and got in asap. The carpet looked like new when they were done! They even got out the slime, red lip stick, and makeup from the carpet! It also dried very quickly too so we were able to utilize our home shortly after it was completed! I highly recommend them for carpet cleaning!

This review could go on forever, but I’ll try and keep it short and sweet. I suffered not one, but TWO, rather major water issues in my home. I recruited Rainbow International when my insurance company mentioned them. Now, I’m a first time home owner, and to make the story sweeter, I am a full time RN with 5 children. During the catastrophe’s, my husband was away for the Air Force. So, I had NO IDEA where to begin or really even what to do. Brit, one of their top dog employee’s, not only made all the transitions crisp and smooth, but took care of me as a human, too! He checked in on me often and assured me my home would like just the way it was, or even better! And it is. My home is BEAUTIFUL due to the diligence of Brit and his crew. We replaced floors and painted (alongside other adventures) nearly my entire upstairs. By the time the second catastrophe occurred, there was no doubt who I was calling. Simply amazing customer service, very flexible, and prompt, despite challenges faced with COVID. I went in today to pay my final bill and was greeted with such joy and energy. Brit happened to be there when I was, and we hugged, chatted about life, and of course, how I’m liking my new look! Honestly, these people are considerably family! So happy to have worked with these folks and will continue to call them when I need them! Thank you so much, guys! ☺️

Joe and his team responded to a last minute call. They showed up immediately, professional, friendly and eager to do a great job. The problem issues were discussed and their team went to work. By the time they were finished the place sparkled. I was very happy with the results and would not hesitate to call on them again.

Don't waste your time. They are unprofessional, unreliable and obviously don't care about the way they do business. The owner Jeff and another guy Joe have so many different stories they will try to feed you and here we are left with a basement full of holes in the wall and ceiling.

My sewer backed up almost 2 months ago. I had a company come to open the drain. I contacted my homeowner's insurance who recommended Rainbow International. I had an appt. time set for them to come to clean. I left work early to meet them. They showed up over an hour after the scheduled time without calling me to let me know.

In discussing scheduling with the people working, it was suggested they put a lockbox on my house so I would not have to be home when they came in. I quickly declined this as I have pets, they showed late for the first appt., & I had been burned by this in the past. They spent a couple of hours cleaning & hauling out contaminated items. Plans were for one of the technicians to stop back the next day to check on things but she had to cancel this due to street flooding in town. I had to contact them again to set up a time to stop back & check things out. I was informed that drywall would have to be removed. After a week or so, I called Rainbow to schedule a time to have them come remove the drywall.

After a few more weeks, I reached out to see about having someone come to repair the drywall. The repair manager came by to take measurements and look at the job to provide me with an estimate. After a week, I had not seen the estimate so I contacted the office. The estimate was emailed to me later that evening. I emailed back about scheduling a time to start the repairs. On the date scheduled, another person came to the house first and I showed him what was needing to be done. The repairs manager stopped by and they discussed the job. The repairs manager then collected a check for the mitigation work and half of the estimated repair work. Now a date has been scheduled for later next week to have the work done. I thought that was the purpose for them coming the first time. I took the day off work to give them time for the repairs. Now I have to take another day off work. The amount of lost wages is not figured into the amount I owe them.

I have been in contact with my homeowners insurance re: my issues. Communication with this company is very lacking. The only positive thing I have to say so far is the technicians are friendly. Work is not complete so I cannot speak to the quality of the work so far,

The workmanship was ok - things worked after an employee cut the same pipe that had been repaired by the plumber making a bigger disaster than when we started. After the repairs were made a bill was sent for their services which I paid - around the same time I received another bill and I thought everything had crossed in the mail. After a month and understanding that the second bill was for sub contractors coming in - I didn’t have the funds to completely pay that $1,500 bill so made $500 payments per month. After the 2nd month of that, with just $500 left to pay I get a certified letter that a lean was put on our house. No communications or forewarnings of that! Communication was terrible - they care more about money than people. Be aware of everything you sign on an IPad while they stand over you to hurry up and sign it.

Two weeks before my son's graduation open house--and a bunch of out-of-town guests were going to stay at our house--a pipe burst in the ceiling in our basement and wreaked havoc in that level of our house. My insurance company hooked me up with Rainbow and I am so glad they did. The whole team was professional, courteous, thorough, and FAST. Even with replacing drywall in the ceiling and walls, removing and drying carpet, baseboards and pad, and putting everything back together, my entire basement was put back to the way it was before the accident within 2 weeks. I had room for all of my company and it was like the water NEVER HAPPENED. We also had a toilet "issue" a couple of years later and our insurance company asked if there was a company I wanted to use for the cleanup and restoration. I told them Rainbow! They are the ultimate professionals, they ensure that all of the damage is accounted for, they replace or fix what needs to be done, and they put it all back together exactly the way it was before the disaster happened. I am so thankful that I was introduced to the Rainbow team. Hopefully, I won't have need of their services again, but if I do they're the ones I will call.

We had a sump pump malfunction and Rainbow was very quick to get someone out to us to start the clean up & get fans going. They were patient with us while we worked through the insurance process & did a great job following up. I would prefer to not need them in an emergency situation again but definitely would recommend them!

The workers did a fine job of cleaning up our mess. However, when the trim was taken off they did NOT put it back on. The overall bill I believe was hyper inflated and lastly, they wouldn’t budge on the bill at all. The workers were very friendly and professional and I certainly hope management pays them accordingly due to the charges they charge people for services.

Excellent work! Carpet and couch are really clean. Very professional and the man that helped me was polite and on time. I will definitely use rainbow again.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Sioux Falls Team once again this year. I have used your company for years on Property Management Restoration, Mold issues and cleaning carpets in my personal home. For 10 months my beloved lab was sick in my small home and my 3 small dogs then made several "Problem Spots" that are much worse than ever before. New carpet is the answer however, your team came in with "The Claw" and extracted those spots down to the sub flooring. My house is so clean, smells wonderful, carpet looks almost new!!!
