Let me start with how professional Jonathan was from RAIN STATE ROOFING. He went above and beyond our nesscary roofing needs. Getting multiple bids was easy but Jonathan makes it personal to do everything right. I am very detailed but Rain State Roofing did everything they said and more. They are very honest and would recommend them 100%. In my opinion, You will not regret hiring them. I know I made a friend who is reliable and does not cut corners. If you are reading this review, don't bother getting multiple bids, just talk with Jonathan Molina. Honest people like him are hard to come by these days.

This review is overdue. This company was a life saver for our house. I had our windows replaced in the summer last year that in the process disrupted the top siding and gutter, leading to a water leak into our front wall in the living room. We noticed the leak on Friday night and we needed help immediately to prevent further damage. I must have contacted a million roof contractors the next day. Most of them were either close or can only come no earlier than Tuesday. I finally got to Jonathan who was driving at the time and offered to come in the same day. He came in and evaluated the problem. He observed that the shingles above the windows are somehow bowed up, leading to water backflow to the OSB board. He installed a tarp over the affected area to prevent further leakage. He did this without a contract agreement. He recommended replacement of the bowed shingles and installation of a starter metal above the windows to protect backflow of water to the OSB board. I was grateful for him for going out of his way to come in and install the tarp I had to hire him for the job. He did the roof work a week later. Needless to say the price was also competitive. This company deserves more than 5 stars. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way. They gave us extremely fair pricing on top of added extras that other roofing companies didn’t offer without a hefty price tag. The job was completed in a timely fashion and done with attention to detail. The owner thoroughly answered all of our questions from start to finish, he was responsive to ALL of our needs, communication was excellent, and he has great follow through. Roofing is a messy job and they cleaned up so well that you couldn’t even tell they were there. They installed a roof and skylights for us and we now have the nicest looking roof in the neighborhood! We are so happy that we took a chance with them! I trust their work enough to recommend them to my family and friends. We needed a new roof for our 50-year-old house with original cedar roof. We wanted a roofing company that was dependable, timely, reputable, and reasonable. We found Rain State after getting five other quotes and we were very satisfied with them. They completed the work in three days as promised (an amazing accomplishment for a 4000sqft house), despite a delay in the roof tile delivery on the second day. They delivered a high-quality service, including a last-minute change to the chimney cap to prevent racoons from entering. We liked their work so much on our Bellevue house that we asked them to do the same for our vacation home on the peninsula. Jonathon checked the site, we settled on the details, and we got a new 40-year roof on that house in less than two months after our Bellevue roof was done. I highly endorse these guys for any roofing job, no matter size or complexity.

Via Yelp, had three companies come for inspections and estimates. Was most impressed by Jonathan Molina and Rain State Roofing. Full attic and exterior inspection, with a very reasonable bid. From a Tues attic / Wed exterior inspection (taller ladder needed) to a completed Friday repair, he exceeded expectations, identifying and completing additional items like full gutters, my neighbor's cracked flapper vent, and protruding nails on our shared townhouse roof. Final price was fair and well-earned. Leaking roofs are stressful and Jonathan made this easy and a good learning experience. I recommend them, and will use them for future maintenance.

Last year I had a leak on my old roof around the flashings. I hired 2 contractors who came in, collected the money, but never fixed the leak. I contacted Jonathan Molina with Rain State Roofing and his crew came out and fixed the flashings and the leak and took care of the problem. But because of their professionalism, I knew when I was ready to replace my roof, that Jonathan and his crew should get a fair
shot at it. And sure enough, last month after contacting 4 other reputable roofing companies, Rain State came out to be the the cheapest and provided superior materials and impressive craftsmanship and crewman ship professionals. The job took only 1 day despite, the fact they had to replace 5 ply wood boards, and did a superior job. I definitely recommend Rain State Roofing for anybody who’s thinking about repair or complete roof replacement. Those guys are the A-Team.

Jonathan and his crew took on a job repairing metal roof that wasn't properly installed when others I contacted on yelp wouldn't take the job. He was very communicative about everything and wrote everything out in the estimate and did not leave any details out. He took his time explaining certain stuff as well as notifying me of any new updates when performing the job that could not have been found when inspecting without removing the roof. I am happy with the repair he did and his price was competitive with the roofer my builder was suggesting using. He even went out to match the color for replacement metal panels as well as have someone come buy and paint a new vent to match the color of the roof.

Jonathan and his crew showed up on time, worked very hard and efficiently, they went above and beyond our expectations. Our new roof and gutters look amazing! We are so happy, our house looks like new. Thank you!!!

It was the windstorm that caused a black out that caused a leak in one our bathroom vents. We first called our insurance to see the extend of the damage. He said although there were potential problems the actual damage was bad enough to introduce mold and future water damage. We called for three bids and when Pacific Evergreen Roofing came out, Jonathan and one of his workers surveyed the roof. They took pictures, discussed what they found, showed us what was a problem and what wasn't. Not only did they repair the damaged they addressed the potential issues the insurance company was concerned about at no extra charge. They were professional, thorough and committed to a job well done. They are now a fixture on our maintenance calendar. We look forward to a long-term relationship.

Had a branch go through our roof during a storm. Called Jonathan at Pacific Evergreen Roofing and he had one of his guys out within 2 hours to give an estimate. Guy was on time and got to work right away, roof was repaired in under 2 hours. Guy did a fantastic job and was super quick! Will definitely use them again if the need comes up in the future.

I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to find honest roofing contractor. I lucked out with Jonathan at Pacific Evergreen Roofing. He was not only honest, but reasonably priced. He did a complete inspection at no charge and provided photos to justify the replacement. I received a detail quote within a couple of days and the job was done without any additional cost surprises. In fact, he was able to get me a 40-year roof for the price of a 30-year roof. The quality of his work is excellent and his team was able to complete an entire roof replacement in one day and leave my yard spotless. I feel wonderful knowing that I don’t have to worry about my roof as we come into the winter.

I recently purchased a severely neglected house and was told by the bank that a new roof would be required to get the mortgage just one week before the closing date. I got estimates from several roofing contractors and no one was any where near as responsive and accomodating of my situation than Jonathan at Pacific Evergreen. He was timely, thorough and friendly in all responses to my questions and ideas, walked me through picking the right roof for me, and while no one else would provide me with a completion date until after I commited, Jonathan made in happen in time for the closing to keep on schedule. His guys did the entire job in only two days, even after discovering that 55 sheets of plywood needed to be replaced due to rotting. They added a ton of vents to aid ventilation and avoid a repeat occurance of rot, and even replaced a couple of skylights and added an additional tubular skylight for my bathroom that doesn't have an exterior wall. My roof looks beautiful and with a 20 year guarantee on workmanship, leaving me with a sense of peace that my home will be protected from the elements for decades to come, all at a competitive price. Working with Jonathan was a great experience. Getting a new roof is not my idea of fun or how I enjoy spending my money, but Jonathan made it as painless as possible. I have infant twins, so the more hands off I can be, the better. Jonathan always got back to me quickly, explained things clearly, and was overall easy to work with. His prices were similar but slightly lower than other estimates I received. I don't know enough to comment on the quality of the work other than to say it looks really good, and he replaced rotting wood. I got Jonathan's number by calling a local roofing supply company to ask for referrals, figuring if the suppliers are happy with a roofer, they must be a good business person. I am very satisfied with how it all turned out.

Edit: I am one of the lucky people who needed 2 new roofs within 6 months of each other (one for a house I sold, and one for the house I bought). I did my due diligence and got a few quotes. Jonathan's was cheaper or in line with the other quotes. I am very pleased with the speed, professionalism, and quality of the work. My realtor was very impressed with the look and quality of the job as well. Jonathan even helped me source materials for a side project, and recommended a gutter contractor who gave me a cheaper quote than others. I hope I never need Jonathan's services again, but I would certainly recommend him to anyone who needs roofing done.

I had Pacific Evergreen Roofing replace some flashing by the fireplace, replaced some damaged shingles, clean the roof, clean the gutters and replace some soffits. The service was spot on and I am happy with the results. My roof looks almost brand new and my gutters have been working like a charm once again.
