Matt and his team were a pleasure to work with, all were very professional. We had vermiculite in our attic, and they were extremely professional on how to remove it without it getting in the house at all. The vermiculite did not once enter the house once. If I need to have more insulation work done, I will
certainly work with Matt and his team again.

Long overdue review of Matt and his awesome crew...I purchased a 1950s home a few years back and in the process of removing a wall and part of the ceiling, discovered I had vermiculite as the primary insulator in the attic space. My GC connected me to Matt at Racine Home Insulators and his professionalism from the get-go was refreshing and welcomed. His services and the process were duly explained, pricing was fair, and his knowledge of the vermiculite super fund and reimbursement was fantastic. His crew were all top-notch and professional, being mindful of the house and exhibiting well-heeled manners. Kudos to Matt and his team for running a tight ship :) Can't recommend them enough.

Jake, Donnie, Q, and Fox were my insulation crew today as they insulated my entire attic! They were excellent! Very professional, careful, neat, and efficient. The old insulation was carefully removed. The new insulation was nicely installed with a small diameter hose. The crew took very nice care of my home while working, and they put down drop cloths to keep the floors safe. Matt, the owner, is very conscientious, and kept in contact with me and his crew. Matt also helped me secure a nice incentive for using the energy efficient insulation materials. I would highly recommend Racine Home Insulators! Jake and Q cleaned up everything when the job was finished. I’m very, very pleased with the entire insulation process. Thank you so much for a job well done!

A random downpour during roofing, left us with a mess. We were referred to RHI. Their timely inspection not only found saturated insulation but asbestos as well. Matt was very knowledgable on the process and the available credits for the remediation. Communication was great throughout each step. His team was timely, efficent and courteous.

RHI was willing to take on our removal and reinsulation even though it was outside of their regular service area. Matt was responsive, honest, and helpful answering any questions I had while the crew that came out was very professional and did good work. RHI made a stressful project as hassle-free as possible.

Matt was extremely professional, courteous, and fair. He gave us a very detailed overview of what work we needed done, but he also said that he wasn't the ideal person to do that kind of work. He spent a long time patiently and thoroughly answering our questions but refused to take any compensation in return. He also recommended other companies who could help us out. We would absolutely hire them in the future if there is a project that makes sense because Matt showed himself to be kind and trustworthy.

Very responsive company. Matt answers you in a timely manner using text and email. I have never dealt with such a responsive contractor. They did vermiculite abatement and re insulation and were fast and professional and affordable. I wish all contractors were this way. I was so surprised and satisfied. If you need their services this is the company to hire.

Awesome job! Awesome crew! Crew is respectful, caring, communication was great, cleaned up after themselves, even gave some advice on some items needing to be fixed and fixed some things and they were funny :) I enjoyed taking to each one of them :) my daughter laughed as one was singing Christmas songs while working in the attic. We were selling our home and an inspection found asbestos in the attic. We hired RHI to both remove the old insulation as well as replace it with new insulation. We cannot say enough about the job the company did. Our attic looks new. The men were courteous, professional, hard-working, and they treated our home like it was their own. They also did all the paperwork for the asbestos. If you are looking for an honest insulation company that will get the job done & get it done right, RHI is the choice. We highly recommend them. We had several other companies come out. We definitely picked the right one!

The entire team is fantastic. They did an excellent job capturing what needed to be done. They did the job in a timely manner and were very professional. I am very glad we chose to use RHI.

We brought in RHI in the late fall of 2017. We had vermiculite in our attic. RHI did an outstanding job of explaining things step by step and helping us get a rebate on the removal of the vermiculite. It was a very detailed process and they were back the next day to insulate. For a change, it was great to look up in our attic and see all this wonderful, new insulation!
They also installed a new bathroom exhaust fan. We are so happy that we hired RHI. Now over 4 years later I called Matt Kranich, one of the owners, with some questions I had on wall insulation and he took his time in answering my questions and explained why it may not be the best idea to try to force more insulation into the exterior walls. We agree.
RHI is absolutely the best at what they do and Matt, Rob and their crew do outstanding work. Too many contractors nowadays don't hold themselves accountable. Not RHI. You will not go wrong if you bring them in for your insulation issues.

I left messages for Iii home insulation companies to give me a call for quotation on my house. Racine home insulators were the only ones that called me back. They had an estimator at my house within a day and he job was completed by the end of the week.

Their installation crew was very professional and conscious of keeping my home clean as he did their work. Once done you could never tell if they were there. They kept me apprised of the status of the job as it went and completed it within a day.

Rob and the crew took good care of my small, older home here in Racine. They removed my vermiculite insulation and replaced it with 15" of fresh cellulose. From what I have seen of their work up there, they made serious efforts to improve the thermal efficiency of my home.

Their air sealing efforts showed they cared, which is nice to see when spending money for services. I would have loved to spend less money, but I feel the price is fair, and the up-front discounts make the service affordable.

All around I would recommend this company to anyone in a situation where they need to disturb their (potentially dangerous) vermiculite attic insulation. Cant wait to see how much this affects the energy bill!

Matt, Rob and the Team did a great job from start to finish removing the vermiculite and blown-in glass fiber insulation from the attic and then air-sealing the chimney. Very informative and professional throughout - even after a long drive to get to us on the outer reaches of their service area! Assistance with the ZAI Trust process and paperwork was also very helpful!

The removed the old vermiculite insulation from the attic that I had at my property and then replaced it when new, un-harmful, up-to-code, million-times-better insulation. He was great to work with, competitively priced, with a very quick turnaround. Highly recommend working with these guys if you have a property in the Racine or Kenosha Wisconsin area!

We had some vermiculite insulation removed and new cellulose insulation blown in. These guys were amazing! They did a wonderful job with the abatement and I felt confident we weren't going to be inhaling any residual materials. Not only did they take care of the insulation but they added roof vents so our attic was properly vented. They were also able to add an exhaust fan to our bathroom that was motion activated (no more fogging of the mirror or walls!). All was taken care of in one day. Everyone involved was courteous and professional.

Racine home insulators quoted me a fair price for removing my vermiculite and reinstalling new insulation in my attic. From quote to install was less than 5 days and the install itself was much cleaner, organized and faster than I imaged.
Myself being a contractor, I had a lot of questions and concerns about the process and materials. Throughout the estimate and install I was informed of the specifications required in today's building codes for insulation and what was best for my home. Rob was great on the estimate. He took time to answer my questions and explain what he was looking to do. The estimate itself came in right around average for the job. He listened to all of the quirks of my house that I knew about. They were able to come out the day after I accepted the estimate and perform the work. Rob was up in the attic directing the crew to make sure everything was done correctly. He explained everything with the focus on energy rebate stuff and didn’t mind me tagging along for most of what he was doing. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do insulation and will for sure be using them when it’s time to do our walls. The only downside is that I can’t give them 10 stars.

Matt, Rob and their crew did an amazing job. We had asbestos contaminated vermiculite removed from our attic. The guys cut two tiny holes in the roof (which gets patched with a roof vent) and were able to get the job done without making any mess inside. The whole process was quick and painless, my 18 mo was even able to take a nap during the work.

I made an appointment for this company to come out. The day of the appointment came and I got a call from Rob asking if he can come 2 hours later. I said sure. 15 minutes before he was supposed to be here he called again. This time cancelling. Rob said he didn't have time for me and maybe he'd come out in the spring. Wow! Nice work Rob. Way to find new customers. Don't waste your time calling unless you can afford to wait 3 seasons for your insulation needs to be met
