After having multiple repair jobs over the last 2 years, we knew it was a matter of time before we needed a complete replacement. Rich was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always in constant communication which really put our minds at ease on what to expect and when. We sought several quotes and R short beat all the competitors, not only on price, but additional add on features as well. Beyond glad we chose R Short and happy to know after the weekend monsoon we’re completely leak free.

Extremely satisfied with R Short Roofing. We had several different jobs being done by them. They did siding and soffits, gutters and leaf gaurds, and re-pointing a brick chimney. Rich was great to work with and his workers were fantastic. They had some extremely cold and wet weather to deal with, but their hard work and dedication won even mother nature over! If I could give more than five stars, Rich would deserve at least 10!

I could not be happier with R Short Roofing and its employees. From first encounter and estimate of the scope of the work, to communications regarding scheduling, to arrival, set up, installation, clean up, and follow up, these folks are top notch, skilled, detailed, and caring. Every employee to a person was as kind, polite, and professional, as one would ever hope to encounter. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Nick Vavala just completed two separate projects for us, one a bathroom/floor/lighting remodel project and the other a new roof/soffit job. We are very pleased with both. We had a small job of repairing a turbine on our roof. Within a couple of days the job was checked out and repaired at the same time. About a month or so later the turbine broke loose again which I expected (it was 28 yrs old). I called Short Roofing again to let them know and Matt V. called me and let me know that because of the rainy spell they were about 2 weeks out. In less than 2 weeks they showed up with a new turbine and replaced it. Looks like they gave me credit for the first repair job because the final price was less than we expected plus got a senior discount. They were very clean working, professional, and very polite making my wife feel very comfortable having them around. I would definitely call this company again!

I just got my roof done yesterday. When I tell you I love it...I love it!! The process was smooth sailing. We met with the Project manager Rich who was just so kind and respectful through the while process. He walked us through everything. Answer all our questions in a timely fashion. We were recommended R. Short from a colleague and are so glad! It was an absolute pleasure working with Rich Chiu from R. Short Roofing. We knew our roof would need replacing soon, but with all the storms the time came sooner rather than later. We did our due diligence and received multiple quotes from larger companies, and smaller businesses alike. R. Short roofing installed a roof on my home in December 2021. I had the roof replaced in my closing cost when purchasing the home. I spoke directly to Ralph Short about obtaining the roof warranty. He stated he would warranty the roof no matter how many owners owned that house. I felt relieved that the warranty was passed to me from the previous owner and with no argument about it! Amazing, 10 out of 10 would recommend using Short Roofing. Fast, entire roof replacement including tear off and ridge vent installation in under 8 hours. It really pays to use a small, local company. We got some outrageous quotes for our tiny ranch house and none came close to the value and quality we received from Short. They were so professional, courteous and polite. They cleaned up so well and even apologized for the noise! No apologies were necessary we are so thankful and blessed to have had our roof done by Short and their team of hard workers. R. Short really had their work cut out for them! I had a DIFFERENT contractor 6 years prior put on a new roof. Since then my garage leaked! They would come out every few months and caulk it. I was very defeated until someone from the same company came out and told me I needed new siding and smaller windows up away from the roof. He explained that they couldn't put proper flashing on my roof. Why this wasn't explained to me 6 years ago...I have no idea. I went with their most expensive option. I did not want this company to do anymore work....

I called John from R. Short. John really worked with me and my house quirks! He went to my house several times with Nick and Ralph trying to figure out the best option for me. I was very nervous because of my past experience with the other contractor. I really trusted John and felt comfortable with what they would be able to do for me.

It took a bit longer because of my house having layers upon layers of old siding. The end result with new windows, new insulation and new siding was amazing. Nick came out several times to help clear up the original contractor's mistakes on the roof. Thank you Nick and John for all your help! I definitely recommend this company for all your home needs! They really help you understand what needs to be done and take their time making your house whole again!

Ralph, Nick, and the rest of the crew were amazing. My husband and I were dealing with water damage in our spare upstairs bedroom and basement. Ralph and the crew came out and worked on the roof, siding, drywall, painting, etc until the problem was fixed.

I am thrilled that we went with R Short Roofing for our house. There are the "big boys" who will charge you an arm, a leg, a first-born and there are the fly-by-night roofers where their warranty will be moot because they will be out of business well before then. R Short Roofing is one of the companies that occupy the sweet spot in the middle -- trustworthy, good workmanship, extremely fair pricing. When there was bad weather leading up to our job, Ralph's crew came on a Sunday to get the job done in good time. This mattered since we had a leak. When there were a few minor items on the back end that needed following up on, Ralph refused final payment until all loose ends were tied up. These are the little things that show the character of a great company. Highly recommended!

Absolutely the BEST roofing company. Excellent workmanship and pricing! The owner is extremely nice and very hands on. We had our entire roof replaced in April due to a storm. It was our first time ever putting in a claim with our homeowners insurance and he made it very easy - even going out of his way to make sure he was here when State Farm stopped by for the appraisal.

R. Short Roofing was absolutely AMAZING! If you need a new roof I would highly recommend using them.

Ralph and his team came out to my Moms house early in the morning. As they ripped up the roof they realized that she needed all new plywood underneath as all of the sheets were no longer good…. Seemed like a big deal but for Ralph it was NO PROBLEM. Ralph ran out for an hour and came back with 55 sheets to replace the old plywood with.

They still managed to finish the roof in just one day.

Ralph made the whole process very simple and stress free!
