I would love to share details but I waited around all afternoon yesterday (after several messages confirming that someone would be at my house in the afternoon) to be ghosted. So maybe they do quality work and maybe they don’t but what they don’t do is show up when they say they will and no call to reschedule. I debated about leaving this review because so many people had positive things to say but I wanted to warn people that they also don’t show up. So days wasted to start all over again ugh!!!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jeff and Dominic for a roofing project, and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and incredibly skilled at their craft.

They showed up on time every day, explained the entire process clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. They took the time to answer all my questions, kept the job site clean, and worked efficiently without cutting corners. The quality of their work is top-notch – my roof looks fantastic, and I have peace of mind knowing it was done properly.

What really stood out was their attention to detail and genuine care for their clients. It’s hard to find contractors who are not only good at what they do but also respectful, honest, and easy to communicate with. Jeff and Dominic are exactly that.

Pros: Zach and his team were excellent throughout the insurance process. They conducted thorough roof inspections, maintained good communication, and completed the roof replacement in just one day.
Cons: The work site wasn’t well-secured during installation - debris flew around the property, and at one point shingles and tools actually ended up inside the house. Additionally, they incorrectly reinstalled my gutter guards, preventing proper water drainage. When I contacted them for repairs, their response time was extremely slow, so I ultimately fixed the issue myself. Don’t expect much post-job support.

Brent and Zach were great ! They gave us a quote and stuck to it. Their team did a fantastic job fixing our fascia and cleaning up from the job. I highly recommend using them if you need a job done. They were professional and responsive.

Andrew Leachman was amazing from beginning to end! From directing us to a third party to deal with insurance and walking us through everything regarding our roof replacement due to storm damage .I honestly cannot say enough about his expert guidance and getting everything done in a matter of a couple of months!

Needed new gutters to replace our 25+ year old gutters that were in rough shape. Andrew came out, quickly put together an estimate. Pricing was reasonable and the work was done incredibly well! The crew took the time to make sure the work was quality, every cut was accurate, and the gutters look great, too. Crew was very professional and efficient. Andrew kept us up to date throughout the process and was always ready and willing to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Sam and Patrick provided outstanding service. They provided excellent advice and knowledge for how to navigate the insurance claims process for the best outcomes. They were timely, efficient and got the job done expeditiously. Overall, a pleasure to work with and much gratitude for the insurance funds.

We had a great experience with everyone we worked with on the new roof. Communication was excellent. All the construction debris was cleaned up and they ran the magnet rake a 2nd time just to be sure.

I would definitely recommend Quality Builders for any roofing or siding work that needs done on your precious home. Sam and Patrick were there from the beginning through the end and listened to all my concerns. They fought with the insurance company through several attempts. My claim was denied by the insurance company and they gave me a fair and reasonable price to take care of my siding problem. Work was done promptly and efficiently and everything was cleaned up. They came out after to inspect and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. They even took care of some additional problems I had with the house. I will be sure to get a different insurance company but I will always count on Quality Builders to fix my home. Poorly ran and operated company the inspector they sent out was an ex pill popper who I believe is still on drugs. After 2 months of him taking off parts of the roof and siding to leave for the insurance company to pick up nothing came out of that. Then when I called the company to find out what was going on, they let me know that he's no longer with the company. Which they didn't tell us until I called to see what was taking so long, and they still didn't offer to send out a replacement agent. They just wanted the claim number which we had already gave to the pill popper. So now I have to get a new estimate which looks bad on my insurance record. Don't trust these people with your parents house or your own house. I wouldn't trust them to put a roof on my dogs house.

Dustin Price was great to work with. He directed us in how to deal with our insurance company and ultimately we were able to have all of our siding replaced after the front of our home sustained wind damage last fall. The crew installed the siding all in one day and we are very happy with the results. Excellent company that I would definitely work with again and highly recommend.

I do not recommend Quality Builders of Ohio because they do not perform accurate cost estimation for their projects. They quoted me a price to perform damage repair to my house after my home sustained wind damage. They "forgot" to include the initial roof tarping, window tarping, and preliminary cleanup and debris removal in the estimate that was signed by both parties. I paid them in full based on that estimate. Later, they threatened to place a lien on my property in order to recoup the initial costs they did not include in the original estimate. Since I'm in the process of selling the home and a lien would prevent that sale, I've paid them the additional funds and am now out of pocket until my supplemental claim is processed.

As a military member in the process of moving and relocating my family to a new duty station states away, I did not appreciate having to deal with this during the stress of a transitional period for my family.

I’ve had a great experience with Quality Builders of Ohio. They did a great job on the roof, siding, and gutters. From planning to execution, every step was handled with care and attention to detail. After a terrible storm one day our house sustained damage unsure of what to do next and nowhere to turn I was lucky enough to cross paths with two wonderful and very professional guys (Quality Builders of Ohio) Zach & Brent, our insurance provider (Hippo Insurance )at the time fought tooth and nail to screw us and did not want to pay for the repairs but the guys from Quality Builders fought with the insurance company for almost a year for them to make things safe and done right although a long time passed Zach and Brent handed everything every step of the way today our home is back together and better than ever so a big thank you to Quality Builders of Ohio and most importantly Zack and Brent for handling a stressful and long situation I would highly recommend this company they do awesome work in a very fast time frame..

I live out of state and my tenant called me stating that a constant stream of water was coming from the roof into her bedroom after during a storm. I knew it was time to get the roof done.

I reached out to them and they laid out all of my options. They worked very seamlessly with my insurance and communicated very effectively with my tenant. I had to do very little work to get these things done. With the insurance claim they even got all of my siding replaced.

They were super quick with contacting us and coming over to take a look at the work. The price was great and they had everything fixed and looking superb in an hour. I hated my siding. It was so dated and constantly dirty. Should someone be happy for hail damage? No, and yet I was. I was even more overjoyed that even though I saw it, I wasn't sure when it happened; but Sam knocked on my door, having been at the neighbors repairing their house from hail damage. He was able to get me the exact date (which matched around the time of some small hail damage on my car.) It took awhile (not Quality Home Builders of Ohio's fault) and now my house is exactly how I dreamed it could be. Even though we had a mild blizzard and below freezing temps, the team worked so hard from dawn to dusk. I was very concerned I wouldn't have enough insulation since I'd had two layers of siding previously. Even that detail wasn't missed by Sam, Patrick and their team. Many thanks for their patience (from someone who had never had a property claim).

Quality Builders lived up to their name! I worked with Jesse and Marty and they did a fantastic job at walking my wife and I through the entire process. They worked hard to get the materail we wanted and their crew were in and out in a day and did a great job cleaning up.

I recently had my roof replaced by Quality Builders of Ohio. It could not have been a better experience. From issues with the insurance company, Jeff took the lead and helped me communicating effectively with them and stayed with the project through to the end. The new roof looks great and will last for years. Clean up was better than I could ever have hoped for, we have lots of trees and leaves, in order to clean up, the leaves needed to be blown to the street, which the team did. Wonderful job!!!

From the hailstorm that came through Ohio in March 2024.I had been working with four other project, managers and companies trying to get the approval for hail damage that occurred to my roof and to my siding. No other company or no other project manager went above and beyond dealing with the insurance company, except for Mr. Cosgrove he began working on my claim and speaking with insurance company speaking to them almost daily about my hail damage to my home without his knowledge and commitment I would have never got a full roof replacement and a full replacement of my siding. We would highly recommend Quality Builders of Ohio for any roof replacement or repair. They are very knowledgeable and experienced with the entire roof process from consultation, insurance coverage, and roof replacement. In 2023 I had wind damage to the roof and siding on my home. My niece and her significant other recommended I contact Quality Builders of Ohio. Mark was professional and efficient. He took care of all the correspondence with the insurance company leaving me with little to worry about. They were professional, hardworking and respectful. In the end I was left with a beautiful home and I am so proud of it.

The only thing I had an issue with was the company that delivered the materials. This was Beacon Building Products. They delivered the materials on July 5, 2023 in the afternoon. Between the heat, the weight of the material and the equipment my driveway was seriously damaged. I was assured that Beacon would reimburse me for the damage. Over a year later they gave ignored phone calls, emails, complaints to the BBB. A man name Jason McDougal was supposed to follow through but chose to ignore me.

I went ahead and paid Quality Builders for two reasons. 1. It wasn’t my money to withhold. It was money allocated from the insurance company. 2. Mark and Quality Builders did their job and did it well. However, if I had to do over I would have withheld all funds until all aspects of the job were taken care of. And this is what I recommend for my fellow consumers. I have had to hire an attorney which just shouldn’t have been necessary.

Gray delt with our insurance, we almost didn't have to do anything. They were here when they said they would be. The work was fast and clean. and most important the clean-up was very good. You wouldn't know they were even here. I can recommend them to anyone.

I HIGHLY recommend Quality Builders of Ohio. I needed a total roof replacement after a bad storm, and Brent worked so effectively with my insurance company claims adjuster to ensure needed items were covered. Brent and owner Mark met with me to plan the work and pick a great color and shingle for this house. Sarah the office manager worked so responsively with me on financial details and helped make everything crystal clear.

I needed more than the roof replaced, and Brent secured and coordinated all of these services: a solar panel specialist to remove and then re-install the panels after the roof replacement, a great gutter company, and Miller Paint Primer and More to replace bad fascia board and add board where none had existed to allow the new gutters to function much better.

The roof is absolutely beautiful and the crew that performed the work ALSO tore down a large, rotten old shed the same day! Everyone that worked on the house was phenomenal. Brent's customer service skills are terrific. I had so many questions and he's kind and enthusiastic about even a humble little house like this. Patrick was our main contact with Quality Builders of Ohio and he was amazing. He did an initial inspection and worked with our insurance company the whole way through the process.
The insurance company initially wanted to settle with us for a very low price and I felt the roof and siding replacements were not going to happen. Patrick was very persistent with the insurance company and finally got them to settle for replacing all roof and siding on our insurance and I can’t thank Patrick enough for this.

Dominic Liberto came out to give an estimate on storm damage. They were almost two hours late for our appointment. After asking who I had insurance with, he said they were easy to work with and proceeded to encourage me to file a claim to completely replace the roof, siding, gutters, downspouts and garage door. First, my garage door faces south and the storm came from the west, there was absolutely no damage to the door. Second, the very few places on the siding was from rocks being thrown from mowing, third there were two tiny dings on two downspouts and zero damage to the gutters. I did have them tarp two places on the ridge line (about 12 feet total). They charged me $700 to do so. I had two other companies out who only identified damage only to the ridge line. Both companies said I was overcharged for tarping, it should have been about $150. I contracted with another company to repair the ridge line at a cost of $1000, therefore allowing me to avoid an insurance claim, but when they arrived to replace the ridge line, they found that Quality Builders had “over tarped” the ridge lines causing damage to the roof resulting in the full roof requiring replacement. When my insurance adjuster was out they also said I should not have been charged more than $150 for the tarping. I would not recommend this company at all.

highlights were how they made working with insurance a breeze. The work itself seems of high quality and I was kept up to date throughout the process. Sam and Patrick were great to work with and their team of professionals were fast and cleaned up after themselves.

I highly recommend Quality Builders of Ohio. Anthony was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I called a couple of other companies and had no reply back. Anthony came and did an inspection of my roof the very next day after the phone call and I had a new roof within 2 weeks!
They were here at 6:30am and finished up at 9:30pm. They had the entire roof torn off and replaced in one day! Very impressed.

Anthony and John were great to work with! We had some shingles fly off during a storm and they determined we actually had multiple areas of damage beyond what I originally noticed. They handled the entire process with our insurance company making the process easier than I could have ever imagined. The tear down and new roof was all completed in a day, the crew was fantastic, by the time they were done, the entire area was cleaned up and the roof looked 100x times better! As a fairly new homeowner, having already replaced all appliances, HVAC, etc etc the thought of needing a full roof replacement was a bit daunting, but it ended up being super easy and has now added value to our home. Last week Quality Builders of Ohio replaced my roof. The journey of replacement started last year when Jeff Grant stopped by at my house to mention about some damage on roof. Then he helped me with filing the case with Statefarm Insurance. The process took several months due to weather and other factors. After the inspector showed up, Dominic Liberto a partner of Jeff took it over started working relantlessly with statefarm to get the approval. Then we realized Solar company who did panel work went out of business. Dominic did the help to find one. Both Dominic and Jeff are approchable and their team did great job replacing roof. Yesterday Solar team finished their job. I recommend them for work. -Ganesh Vathyam

Trust your gut, go with a company you’ve heard of. These guys are good at sales, but terrible at follow thru. Literally took 6+ months to finish my roof. They left an insane mess, and are nearly impossible to get back out here for repairs. My advice - GO ELSEWHERE.

Zach Thompson gets 5+stars, he got my insurance to pay for my roof in the middle of winter and since then I have referred him to my daughter and all of my clients. On Father’s Day last year Zach went out to inspect a roof for my client and they had no insurance so by street light Zach repaired the roof in the middle of the night, this is just the kind of guy he is.

Quick, efficient and super friendly! Zach answered all my questions honestly. We appreciated his step by step explanations about the process. He never over sold anything and did what we needed to make our home leak free once again. I would recommend him to anyone. He had to work with our insurance - even though we clearly had a claim - and Zach did so with no problem. I can’t wait for our new siding! Zero stress and great customer service. Thanks Zach!

Jeff handled the entire insurance process which made the whole process calming after getting your roof and siding extremely damaged by a storm and after all of that the team that preformed the installation killed it. Where to start? You never know what you're going to get when someone comes to your door and tells you they can do a storm assessment on your roof. Of course, before I committed to anything, I did my due diligence and looked up their reviews and I couldn't believe that a contracting company on Google received 4.9 stars!

My fellow reviewers were spot on! From the very beginning, Quality Builders they took great care of our roof process from dealing with insurance, to the Solar Company, keeping me constantly updated and the process was so simple!

My main point of contact on the project was Dave Shumate. Wow! What a gem of a contractor. He was in continuous communication, would even send holiday messages to us, which was above & beyond! They helped me through the insurance claim process, it was our first time making a claim on the house, and would help me with every question I had. Next, they had to schedule with the solar company for panel removal and reinstall, I barely had to speak to anyone with the solar company. Dave also came to a meeting with another guy who helped me pick out the shingle and drip edge colors. He made sure I knew exactly what to expect the day of our install and if I ever had a question (usually about solar) and he didn’t have the answer, he would immediately contact his company, get an answer and get back to me ASAP.

When it was time to install the roof, I was floored by how many people they had here to complete the job. Dave of course was present and watching over everything for us. They arrived when they said they would and done by 5pm. They did an amazing job cleaning everything up, we never even found so much as a rouge nail left in the yard.

We had some issues with the solar company when they arrived to reinstall our panels, from not finishing and returning a couple of days later to leaving our yard an absolute mess. Dave contacted the solar company to issue a complaint for us and was successful at getting the solar company to reimburse us some money. Due to the sloppy job they did on our yard, Dave even came back for a final roof inspection to make sure they didn’t leave the roof looking as bad. Unfortunately, they left a bunch of trash up on the roof too, but Dave took care of all of it.

Would I recommend Quality Builders of Ohio for your next home project?! Absolutely, over and over! Answering that knock on my door last fall was the best decision I could have made for improvement to my home. A huge thank you to Dave Shumate and the Quality Builders of Ohio team!

It was one of the easiest experiences with any type of home repair I’ve had, especially with an insurance company. Zach really handled everything! All I can say is God is good! We're first-time homeowners and within the first year of living here, a windstorm hit us hard. A neighbor brought us back a piece of our siding, lol. I was discouraged by my insurance to make a claim, but I had just joined a community page on FB and a lady referred me to Quality Builders of Ohio to get a free estimate. Zach Thompson reached out quickly and his team let us know exactly what kind of damage we we're looking at. It was more extensive than we had imagined. They took pictures of the roof for us. I was really dreading this project (dealing with insurance) but Zach helped every step of the way. His knowledge and patience is top-notch. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We love the new look of our home! Our siding and roofs on the house and garage were replaced and covered by our insurance! Quality Builders of Ohio did an amazing job with our roof replacement. Patrick O’Brien was helpful from start to finish. They arrived before 7 am and were able to install the roof by the afternoon. The clean-up post installation left our property free of any debris. We are extremely happy with the roof, I have included the pictures that Quality Builders of Ohio provided after installation. We recently had our roof installed by quality builders and they did a fantastic job. Robert worked with us and our insurance adjuster to assess damages to our roof and get majority of it covered. They gave us an honest quote with no hidden surprises. Jamie and Chad were very easy and great to deal with in streamlining everything and the construction crew did an excellent job and had our roof done start to finish in less than six hours. I would definitely recommend them!

I will forever 100% recommend this company! My insurance company kept denying a full roof replacement for a year. They approved a patch job that looked like a checker board! I sat back and Dustin and his crew were my voice. They never stopped fighting for me. I was reassured throughout the whole process. When I was finally approved and it was time to pick shingle color I couldn't! He then sent me pictures and addresses to look at to pick instead of the samples. This process was long but they did it all for me. I've told so many people my situation and they explained similar situations they had and other companies stop trying. Today my roof was completed! I am beyond happy with increasing the value of my home with a beautiful finished product. I also could hang out with these guys on a regular basis because they are great! Professional and friendly!

I would give this Company a "0" if it were available. My neighbor used them previously and assumed they were a quality Company. My house had windstorm damage earlier 2023. I contacted my insurance company, USAA and they determined my house shingles along with a detached garage had to be replaced along with the gutters. The workers came out and completed the work in one day. However, there was a rainstorm and they had to stop working for a few hours. It was late afternoon and I assumed they would continue next day. However, that was not what happened. They risked their safety even though the roof was completely drenched. In addition, they rushed to finish, which left me concerned about the quality of the work. . In addition, they left a large number of roof nails in my yard and landscape. They had to send an employee three times to attempt to clear my property of nails. To this day I'm still finding nails around my property. As recently as today, I was checking a downspout and found a large number of nails. I assumed they dropped the nails down the drain for convenience. If given the opportunity, I would warn anyone to think twice about using Quality Builders of Ohio. "Quality" in their title is misleading.
