We have used Puma Builders three times now for exterior projects. The first was to plaster our foundation walls, which was something our builder was supposed to do, but walked away without completing. Throughout the plaster process, Fernando was incredibly responsive, communicated thoroughly, reviewed details several times to make sure we were getting what we wanted, prepared samples prior to completing work so we could confirm, etc. They even went above and beyond by fixing some really awkward foundation work our builders did, just because Fernando wanted it to look finished and nice, since his plaster was going to be next to it. He used creative problem solving to finish it off professionally, and also ensure it was strong and well constructed. It looks 100 percent better now. Just a top-notch job.
We enjoyed working with Puma so much, we then hired them to brick our front porch and steps (another project our builders left without completing). Again, a great experiences. Fernando was very specific and detailed on the design, and as a result, it is stunning.
The third time we hired Puma was to build out a brick fire pit feature with bench seating. Fernando was accommodating working with the plumber we hired for the gas lines, as well as building out the fire pit base so it would fit the insert perfectly. He was also impressively patient when we made multiple changes to the design, and when we asked his masons to remove a few layers of brick and rebuild a portion, mostly due to indecision on our end. Every time, he would just say, “no problem!” and make the changes. We were charged $450 more for the extra labor, which I felt was fair. The fire pit turned out beautiful, is very comfortable, was completed with excellent craftsmanship, and is the perfect addition to our landscaping.
The Puma team was great on our exterior remodel project. Their workmanship was excellent, they showed up when they said they would, and worked hard all day everyday until the project was complete. They are a No nonsense, hardworking, professional team.
I was renovating my house when I came across a rotten column coming from my roof all the way to the foundation of my house. The OSB and 2x4 were all disintegrating. I had roof guys and gutter guys coming and nobody could give me a reason for the leaking. I’m glad a neighbor referred Puma Builders to me. Fernando was amazing. He sent a clear estimate explaining step by step what he would do and when. He finished 5 days before the schedule. The stucco looks awesome! He was by far the best contractor that worked in my house during our renovations!
