I seldom write reviews, but this one is warranted. Reading reviews about ProStart helped us take the final step in choosing to go with them. So this is for those who follow this path. The reviews were accurate. Selecting ProStart for our roofing project was definitely the right choice. They did the job with careful attention to final details and aesthetics. They collaborated with us regarding a few challenges of our roof, and offered good solutions. We were particularly concerned with aesthetics and in this they greatly exceeded our expectations, going the extra mile with exacting, custom facia. Jessie repeatedly solicited our feedback in order to assure all of our expectations were addressed. We will appreciate this for years to come.

Jesse and all the workers were great very polite and kept the yard clean why doing the shingle replacement kept me informed on all the progress through the removal and replacement Jesse made sure everything was done like it was his own house being done. I had the pleasure of working with Jesse Chalmers at Prostart Construction for siding repairs on my home in Minneapolis, and I truly can’t recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, Jesse treated my project with the same care and attention as if it were a full siding and roofing replacement, even though it was ultimately just a repair.

Prostart did a wonderful job repairing our house and machine shed after we had a terrible hail stone storm. They went above and beyond what they would have had to do. They repaired some things that we should have been charged for and they didn’t charge anything which was very nice of them. The roof looks beautiful with our brick and siding. The machine shed’s roof came out beautiful.

Jesse and his crew absolutely knocked it out of the park. Showed up on time, perfect install and our property was clean when they left. They even fixed some items that weren't in the scope of the project. Lastly, they donated part of their profits to our hockey association so it shows it isn't just about the money. Prostart Construction does an amazing job. They did excellent work to repair our roof damaged from a recent storm. From start to finish, Jesse handled it all. He has great communication skills. Jesse was great to work with! He put a lot of time and energy trying to work with our insurance company to cover our roof. Despite all the effort our insurance did not cover our roof. WOW! Jesse and the ProStart roofing crew were amazing. Our job was scheduled within a week and it took them just one day to completely give us a new roof. They left the yard the way they found it... all nails and other materials were picked up and our gardens were undisturbed. Honestly, I don't even know where to start of how happy I am with Jesse and his team. I had a water leak when we would get light rain that made it to our main level. Jesse came out to look and saw some possible issues (not visible to the naked eye) that then was confirmed by his very knowledgeable team member Enrique. Enrique fixed and replaced what was needed promptly. We got some light rain throughout the day and heavier rain last night with no leak!!! That in it self deserves 5 start rating for promptness, but doesn't end there. The customer service provided by Jesse is unmatchable, kept me up to date as to what was happening and when it was happening. What an absolute pleasure to have a contractor worry more about your needs and expectations rather than the bottom line (profit). I would absolutely refer Jesses and team to anyone.

Contacted Prostart online when we had water leaking into the house from the roof. Jesse responded almost immediately and was able to come out shortly after. After fixing the issue he also brought up another concern, but instead of a sales pitch was honest about the timeline in which it needed to be addressed and the best options we could take. Our home and autos were damaged in the Aug. hailstorm. I knew it wouldn't take long for storm chasers to be knocking on the door. I wanted a reliable, local contractor so I called a friend for a reference. He gave me Jesse Chalmer's contact information. I’m so glad I called. Jesse came the same day and told us about Prostrate Construction. Jesse came back to go over the damage with our insurance adjuster. We needed a new roof and new siding as they couldn't match our old vinyl siding. He was in constant contact to keep us updated throughout the project. When I had questions or concerns Jesse replied quickly to text or phone calls (once when he was sick in bed). Prostart uses quality products, the workers were reliable, worked long days, and cleaned up every day before they left. The house looks great! Jesse and Prostart Construction went above and beyond. Beginning from when the insurance adjuster came, our sales rep Jesse was there to assist, take pictures, and ensure nothing was missed. Within 2 weeks of the insurance approving the claim, our roof was being installed and it was completed in ONE day with complete clean up.

The crew was friendly, and even though they had a tight self-imposed timeline, they stopped multiple times to make a path for my dogs to go potty safely.

The quality is there- it actually looks better now than it did before and the personal accountability the sales rep, Jesse, had throughout the project was appreciated. He kept us in the loop the entire way through and he treated us like friends-- from helping with recommendations of shingle samples through ensuring our Halloween decorations were back up when they were done, he took pride in his team's work.

We recently moved into a home that had a beautiful roof built a few years ago by Pro Start. We discovered a minor repair was needed, and although the roof was no longer under warranty and we had no previous relationship, Pro Start resolved the issue as soon as possible for us during a stressful time. They went over and above, and judging from other reviewers, this looks to be how they operate in general.

This company provides the level of service, professionalism, and care I'm rarely accustomed to, but will always remember in the future.

Jesse at Prostart Construction is truly awesome! We just moved to a new location that Prostart Construction installed the roof on a few years back. When we noticed a leak, we contacted them and Jesse responded right away. This is a company that stands by their work. They sent someone out to take a look and patched up the roof up at no charge. Superb company, superb people. We are looking forward to working with them for our gutter needs soon!

Prostart, Jessie was amazing to work with. After his crew put gutters on my house a tree fell on the house less than 30 hours later and destroyed the new gutters and roof. I called Jessie the next day and told him what happened. Needless to say, his crew was back out in a couple of days to replace the gutters no questios asked. Also with the roof damage Jessie and his crew replaced the roof and I could not be more satisfied. His attention to detail is awesome. He makes sure his crew leave your house and yard better then when they showed up. This includes the clean up.
In closing I recommend using Prostart for any projects BIG or small. You wont be disappointed.

Having our roof done with ProStart was easier than dropping off my dry cleaning. Jesse came out on Wednesday afternoon and by Friday at noon, our roof was done. Jesse was detailed and made sure everything was smooth. The job site was clean and organized. The crew was on time and worked so efficiently. We were so impressed with the quality of work and all the specific details. They painted our stacks and used brown caulking instead of white. The rows were perfect and even Fransisco, who delivered the trailer, was so polite and kind. We are thrilled with our new roof.

Jesse is awesome. If I could add 5 more stars I would. I got Jesse's contact from my insurance person. During a really quick storm a huge branch fell and punctured my roof and water started leaking in the house. Jesse sent out his crew THE SAME DAY to patch the hole so no more water came through. Jesse also came out the next day to check out the roof and order parts to finalize the fix. Everything was fixed and done within a couple days. Could not have asked for better service! I don't think any company would EVER come out that fast.!!! Deff. use these guys! THE BEST!

Jesse Chalmers and his crew did an excellent job on my roof. I appreciate his impute on color selection and style of shingles. They replaced several roof panels that were weak (not to code) from previous remodeling done decades ago. Repainted all stacks and installed new flanges around them where needed. Gutter drip flanges were too short, installed wider ones. Straightened gutters, new support hangers, went way beyond just installing shingles.

Jessie was a pleasure to work with. He made everything easy. I didn’t have to worry about anything and my house looks great. The new roof and gutters made the whole house look like new again. I would recommend Jessie and PROSTART to anyone looking to get roofing and gutter work done. He worked with insurance company and I did nothing.

Oustanding service. 5+ stars! I was having ice dam problems to include leaking into the house. Jesse C. called immediately and got someone out within the day to inspect the problem. The next day they removed the ice build up and will be back in the spring to ensure there are no residual damages to the roof decking. Service, honesty and integrity are values Prostart demonstrates on a daily basis.

We worked with Jesse and his crew at Prostart in Nov 2022 after a summer storm. From working with our insurance company to ensuring a clean jobsite, Jesse took every care and precaution to ensure our roof was installed and communicated with us through it all. We are extremely happy with our new roof. Jesse recommended shingle colors that would match our house which was greatly appreciated. Jesse was in communication the entire time and was on site for the majority of the project. Jessie and ProStart did a very good and efficient job on the storm damage we had this past summer. I should clarify the four stars before I go any further. I never give a five star rating because there's always room for improvements and nobodies perfect :). With that being said the work was performed in a timely matter and as agreed upon. We heard about Jesse and ProStart Construction while they were replacing my father-in-law’s roof. We had Jesse come take a look at our roof after another local company failed to get a full roof replacement on ours. Jesse took many pictures and helped me work with my insurance company. His help allowed me to get a full replacement on our roof. I’m so thankful for Jesse’s help. The crew does an amazing job. Our roof looks very clean and well done. Everything is perfectly straight from the shingle rows, to the valleys, and the ridge cap. Exceptional craftsmanship. We were out of town when the install took place and Jesse even went the extra mile and pulled weeds in our landscaping. I would recommend ProStart Construction and Jesse time and time again. After a hailstorm swept through our area last year I had people knocking at my door certain they would get me a new roof. None of them were able to even though there was visual hail damage, even to the untrained eye. Jesse Chalmers was recommended to me by a family member who had success working with him so I gave it one more shot. Jesse was able to get our roof fully replaced. I’m not sure what he did differently than the other guys to have insurance cover our roof, but I really appreciate his help. He does most of the work with insurance making the job easy for the home owners. He is prompt in his responses, knowledgeable in what he does and his roofers are phenomenal. They came out on our preferred date, and had the job done quickly. He knows I just had a baby and as he was checking over the finished roof he even did a little weeding in the landscaping to help me out. I’m so happy to have a new roof and to have a great contact in my back pocket for the future. I would recommend him to anyone who asks. I do recommend him to people who don’t ask too. If you live in Otsego and didn’t get your roof replaced from the storm July of 2020, call Jesse, he will work his magic and your house value will increase almost instantly. Wow! We are so impressed with Jesse and the team at Prostart. We needed a new roof as well as a variety of other items (gutters, downspouts, trim) replaced as a result of hail. Jesse and his team went above and beyond in every way and the finished product is high quality and looks fantastic. He even replaced (at no cost to us) a rotting board with a composite one that was totally unrelated to the storm. The workmanship and products used are such an upgrade from our previous ones and it has really increased the "curb appeal" of our home. Jesse explained the process from start to finish and listened to our questions and concerns. The jobsite was extremely clean. Jesse at ProStart Construction did a great job from start to finish. The roof and gutters were damaged from hail and needed to be replaced. Jesse coordinated the replacement with the insurance company and took care of all the scheduling, materials, and labor. The crew showed up and did the whole job in a single day and cleaned up the area beautifully afterwards. It was effortless on my part. I have Jesse Chalmers and Prostart construction do my adjustment and got my roofing approved for a re-roof. The job was completed same day, jobsite was clean, organized and Jesse was present during construction. He provided pics of completed work of the roof. They were on time, responded to my questions and insured the work was done right, including sending spot of invoiced materials to ensure we knew of all Owens Corning quality materials, along with copy of permit prior to workmanship started. Jesse came back following day to check all workmanship. Thank you Jesse and Prostart job WELL done!

Jesse Chalmers was prompt in responding to our call and provided ample information regarding the process and products. He provided several examples of the craftsmanship of the roofing crew. Once the decision was made to proceed, the roofing was completed in a timely and efficient manner. The final product was excellent and we are completely satisfied with the quality and appearance of our new roof. I had Pro Start Construction install my new roof on my 2 story home I'm building in Champlin. Pro Start Has installed several roofs for me over the years and has always been the same end result. Excellent craftsmanship, great communication and it always goes above and beyond my expectations. Pro Start installed all Owens Corning products, cut in ridge vent and high profile ridge cap over the top. Closed valleys were install which I really like! Pretty impressively done on a steep 10/12 pitch. Clean up was excellent. Jesse Chalmers provided pictures of straight roofing lines, ridge lines to insure quality workmanship. I have to say that Pro Start is the BEST roofing contractor around! Thank you Pro Start and Jesse Chalmers for another job well done!
