First of all, I would like to thank Joe and his crews for both excellent and perfect jobs.
Joe first inspected my roof following a hailstorm, worked with the insurance inspector/adjuster and replaced it in 2018. He did such a perfect job that when a tree fell from a storm and damaged my house's sidings and interior in 2022, I instantly thought about Joe and contacted him. He came the very next day to clear out the massive tree, then got to work with the insurance adjuster to have the sidings replaced and interior wall fixed.
He was attentive, always on time, provided thorough explanations to any questions and an all around professional. I highly recommend Joe and his crews for any roofing/siding jobs. Thank you so much for everything Joe .
Our home in Fredericksburg, VA had a leak in the roof (apparently, due to some loose nails and a lack of proper sealing).
Joe not only actually answered his phone (unfortunately seems to be a common problem when I have to call any contractor in the area); but he was able to show up the next day and took care of the problem right away.
He was quick, yet, thorough and didn't try to up-sell me something that wasn't necessary.

Our home in southern Stafford, Virginia suffered damage due the powerful storm that came through on 29 July (heavy rain, hail, and high winds). After the storm we had multiple roofing companies come to our door and received many fliers related to roof repair. We’ve never had to replace a roof and we’ve never made a claim to our insurance company so it was a little nerve racking to say the least.
That being said, Proof Roofing & Exteriors were there the evening of the storm to conduct an assessment, showed pictures of the damage and explained what Proof Roofing could do for us and what we could expect during the insurance claim process. We set up an appointment with our insurance company and Proof Roofing & Exteriors were present during that inspection which proved to be beneficial because they were able to answer the agents questions the same day. Thanks to Joe, the process went smoothly and our insurance covered 100% of the costs.
Bottom line – we have a beautiful new roof and gutters. I give my highest recommendation to Joe Otero and his crews for their professionalism, quality of work, and overall customer experience.
