I’m a roofer from Colorado just visiting and I just saw these guys replacing a roof here and I had to leave a review for how professional they were doing their work. Safety harnesses and all matching hiviz. I could tell they were pros by how they were installing the underlayment and wood shakes. Just got to give credit where credit is due!

This review is long overdue!! Jason and his team replaced our old composite roof with a gorgeous shake roof this October and let me tell you, not only is it beautiful but the team of men are the nicest group of people I’ve come across . Having a 3 year old son, I was worried that there would be a lot of left over nails and such from the removal. There was nothing left behind! It was incredible. Not only do they do incredible work, but they took enough care to not leave a mess. It absolutely blew my mind! If you are in need of a new roof, don’t bother looking anywhere else. These guys are the best!

The owner, Jason, and his wife Lisa, who runs the gutter department were exceptional to work with. Communication & customer service were flawless from both of them. Our building is over 10,000 square feet and located right on the ocean. Jason walked me through the entire process step-by-step, and took tremendous care and consideration into maintaining our daily operations as a business. I used these guys to install new rain gutters on my rental property which is located at 2477 Liluokalani street, I met jason seemed a like a nice guy, his wife came out and gave the estimate, but the 2 guys who they sent out did a very poor job, no communication as to when they were going to show up. gutter leaked in several places, they were suppose to fix a leak I had on a roof jack, they never did, no one ever returned my call to have them come out and look at it, I had to hire another company to fix the problems with the rain gutters. This company does a good initial presentation but they quality of workmanship is lacking. go somewhere else and get it done right the first time.

ProBuilt Hawaii just finished replacing the roof on our Koloa home. Jason and his team were very professional and efficient. They removed the old roof and installed the new one in just two days. Very efficient and responsive for estimate. Gutters installed in timely manner. However, the gutters leak all the way around the home in several areas; our back decks and side walks are a mess and the fascia board is going to rot eventually. Called them about the leaks and they told us that is a roofing repair and they don't do roofing repairs. They did not offer a professional opinion BEFORE they installed gutters that they overhang may be insufficeint and that we should remove fasica and attached to rafters. While we waited months for "rain chains" we could of had this done. Poor quality, lots of excuses, said someone would come take a look and they never showed. Our home is 12 years old, and built by Ardel Deppe, great house built by a well-known local contractor. Lousy job and I wouldn't use this company again.

My existing roof was damaged in a wind storm on Christmas 2019. I contacted five roofing companies about re-roofing it. Many roofers said they would be out and never showed or came out and I never heard back from them. Jason with ProBuilt was very professional, bonded, insured, and offered a great warranty. I checked references and PBH has a great reputation. It turned out several friends had used PBH. I had to wait a few months for the re-roofing, solar attic vents and skylight replacement. It was worth the wait. The crew showed up early everyday and were very respectful of my property and did a very professionally installation. They cleaned up every day and on the final day everything was very clean. They used quality products. I now want them to install copper gutters when they can schedule it. If you want a professional roofing installation I recommend ProBuilt Hawaii.

ProBuilt and the team inspected my roof to help me determine if now is the time to install a solar sstem plus a new roof. They could have easily said "Yes, you need a new roof". Instead they were open and honest. They let me know I have 4-5 years left on my roof and now isnt the time. When the time comes - I'll come back to ProBuilt

We tried to use numerous companies that were referred to us by a contractor friend. We even went to a metal house to purchase and install ourselves, we could not ever get a quote from them. I saw a ProBuilt truck and called, Lisa answered and said they were about 3 weeks out to come do an estimate, I was good with that, couple days later she called said was in the neighborhood and we had our quoted the next day. This company is amazing and their installers were gracious and professional. OUR GUTTERS LOOK AMAZING!!!

There are good contractors and bad contractors. Jason and his team at Probuilt are GREAT contractors. Jason knows his roofs. He has obviously set a high standard for selecting his employees who are skilled and efficient. Jason helped us every step of the way in negotiating our Insurance Claim, resulting in a total roof replacement.

Outright lies and poor quality.
Pro built somewhat completed a project for my family they outright lied about costs, duration of the project, quality, and warranty.
They quoted prices of materials and labor then charged more while making excuses. The roof and gutters are still not satisfactory and pro built will not come out to fix their poor quality. They were very disrespectful.
I will never refer them for another project I’d hate for another family to have to go through what we went through.

We reached out to ProBuilt Hawaii to get our roof replaced on a home that we recently purchased. Our roof was well beyond the end of its life cycle and the previous owner even applied a silicone sealant to try and extend the life. Jason and Lisa contacted us after we reached out and walked us through the entire process answering all the questions we had and addressed any concerns. The process was smooth and very efficient. They worked with our schedule and stayed in constant communication on what to expect and who to expect on our property.

The on-site crew was very courteous and friendly. The entire process from removing the old roof to putting up the new one only took a day and a half. At the end of the first day, the crew did a fantastic job and picking up all trash and debris and finished it off with a magnetic sweep of the property to ensure that there weren't any stray nails or screws around. When the job was complete, they made sure to clean up every piece of trash and leftover material. It was truly spotless.

When we had our solar contractors return to put our solar and PV system back up they asked who completed our roof. They commented that ProBuilt did an incredible job and it was noticeable that they took their time and paid attention to details. All the lines were straight and evenly cut.

Jason inspected our drywall water damage and determined that it was not from a roof leak, however, he recommended a company he trusts who could deal with our problem. His wife (& office mgr.) was prompt in responding to my inquiry and kept me aware of when Jason would be able to check out our situation. Jason spent quite awhile with us, gave us tips for sealing the wood window trim once it is repaired, and did not charge us for the inspection. I would recommend ProBuilt highly for roof replacement/repair if that is what you need.

Our roof project was not a straightforward roof with insurance involved. Insurance would not pay the cost of getting roof replaced. Jason spent his time on out behalf with insurance adjuster to increase their allowable. They wouldn’t budge but after bringing in an outside party they did agree. There were other hurdles that Jason was able to work out with us. The crew showed up on the day promised and with the weather cooperating was finished in a few days. They did a nice job of cleaning up after the job was finished as well. All the communication from Jason was clear, timely and explained the process and what to expect. Great to have worked with them!
