So helpful, kind, and professional. I ruptured my copper water pipes and no one else on island could see me for weeks but this company made a way to fit me in so I could have water! Very kind owner Sal with equally great employee he sent to do the job. A1 craftsmenship, everything was done with skill, focus, and care. I really am grateful and saved this number for future plumbing circumstances I may need help with.

Sal removed and replaced a fireplace, replaced water pipes and valves, and found and repaired a main waterline break seven feet under concrete. His work is timely and professional; I highly recommend Kauai Maintenance & Construction for the variety and quality of their work.

Sal saved us from a real disaster! I found his number on the internet and called him to ask for his help with a leaky toilet valve. It was at night and he had just arrived home from a long day. When I let him know that the water was leaking at a very fast pace and the turn off knob was stuck, he put his own desires aside and agreed to come to turn off the water supply to the toilet or possibly the water. He was successful in turning the valve which turned off the water to the toilet. It is located on the second level and water had started to leak through the fan and light fixtures to the main level of the house. He came back the next day (which was New Year’s Eve) and replaced the valve and flapper, etc. Sal is very efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. I think he is also a kind person. I highly recommend Sal and I look forward to working with him for future projects. Five stars!

Highly recommend Sal. On kaua'i its difficult to find a reliable contractor but hes one of the very few who actually calls you back, sets expectations on time and price and gets the job done. He doesnt bandaid the problem but offers a complete and honest solution. I've used him twice now and he's the best contractor and plumber I've worked with. Thanks Sal!

We highly recommend Sal for anyone needing plumbing work. The work was clean, professional, finished in one day, and (most important) done right. We hired Sal to replace water valves that were old and basically frozen shut. While here he and his staff also re-did our shower plumbing. The first job was fairly common. The work was done quickly and he minimized time that water to the rest of the condo had to be shut off. Not on the original plan for the day was the shower work. He agreed to do the work which was very difficult given its location and condition. It’s a relief to know we have up-to-date plumbing that we can rely on. Mahalo nui loa, Sal!

Sal saved the day for me! My water heater died over the holidays and he was there the next day to replace it. He did fantastic work, was extremely reliable and did a great job keeping me updated (I live in California and this was a rental). I was so impressed with him I had him repipe a sink and fix a few slow draining sinks a few days later. HIGHLY recommend!

Came back as he promised with his worker and completed the job in two days. Cleaned up during and after the job and gave a detailed invoice of time and materials!!

This company does it all! It is so hard to find reliable companies on island and I am so grateful for Sal and his company! Sal was able to move jobs around because he knew that we were dealing with an emergency situation. He had to cut the siding off the side of our house and many plumbers wanted us to get a carpenter out to do that first. Not Sal! He came and troubleshooted and fixed the problem that day! After he went out of his way to find someone to patch our drywall. He’s a straight shooter and tells you how it is right off the back. We will definitely be using this company in the future!!

It's hard to find responsive and available plumbers on Kauai. Another on island company blew us off after making us wait 6 months. We did another search and came across Kauai maintenance & construction. Wish we found them sooner!! Sal and Ipo were able to come over that same day after I got off work, to see all the work we wanted done. Professional and personable from the start, these guys troubleshooted everything they came across and came up with better, safer and longer lasting solutions that the other plumbers did not even consider. They aren't solely plumbers or contractors, they take everything into consideration which is refreshing. New lines for washer and dryer, gas lines for dryer & cooktop, water & drain lines for another sink all installed cleanly. They fixed a leaking pipe in the yard and identified/replaced a malfunctioning solar water pump - the cause of our jump in electric bill that we could not figure out. No doubt these guys will be our go to people for anything that ever comes up. Highly recommended.

We were in desperate need of a plumber to replace a failed water heater in an older home for a family of five in Wailua Homesteads. We called around and most plumbers said that it would be at least a week before they could schedule the repair, some never called back at all.
Sal readily responded and dealt with a difficult installation, due to the age of the house, with patience and professionalism.
