I highly recommend Al from Prime Painting. He has done so much for me over the years! Power washed my business building and home. He sanded and stained my deck and most recently he painted all of my interior walls and trim and also sanded and stained my hardwood floors. My house looks beautiful! Al is easy to work with and his costs are more than reasonable. Al is forever my go-to guy and I highly recommend him.

We have relied on Prime Painting for over 20 years to handle all our interior and exterior house painting needs. We have also hired them for power washing services. They completed their last job for us 3 weeks ago. We have always been satisfied with the results. Their work is expertly executed with minimal disruption. Their prices have consistently been fair, and they clean up thoroughly every day. Al has a strong aesthetic sense, and we trust his judgment when changing or complementing existing colors. Moreover, Al is always cheerful and fun to work with. We highly recommend Al and his company.

I found prime painting some time ago. Al the owner is extremely pleaseent and professional. He has painted many large rooms for me all came out great. I've hired the team to power wash the house and he's coming in the first week of March to do more indoor painting. He's great and I highly recommend him.

Al did a terrific job on my house painting the main house and the shed. His estimate to do the work was very competitive and affordable and the work meticulous. He has a carpenter to do any repairs to shingles. He power washed my garage door, chimney and the roof of my shed; and the results were excellent. Al works hard and we were able to work out a timeline that he met. I highly recommend Al and Prime Paining and Powerwashing.

This winter, we hired Al to paint the new Bridal Lounge at The Groton Inn. He did a phenomenal job! During the planning process, he was quick to respond to questions and provided multiple quotes for the various levels of work we had in mind. His pricing was very reasonable. For our accent wall, he offered suggestions on different styles and techniques to make the room pop. The final result is beautiful - a elegant and sophisticated space for our brides to start their special day.

Alan responded right away to my email request for an estimate, showed up the next day to see house, started work the next week, and job was perfect, beautiful, a skilled painter. House is clean on outside and refreshed on inside. PLUS he is super easy going, actually listened to me, and then helped me make good decisions for the job. Al has done exterior and interior painting as well as power washing for me. He does excellent work at reasonable prices. He is a real pro at what he does.

Alan did a fantastic job on power washing the siding of my house. He was referred by one of my neighbour who also used his power washing service due to her friend's recommendation. Thanks to Alan's half-day professional work, the siding of the house now looks great. One side of the siding was previously covered with dirt and mold looked rather terrible, but it now looks like new!

Update Oct '24. Alan did 3 more projects for me his year. Power washed my house, sanded and stained my deck and painted a post-teenager bedroom and bath (I am talking duct tape, glue gun and nail polish wall damage!!). Alan always responds and begins projects promptly and his prices are more than fair!! I highly recommend :- )

Prime Painting just did a power wash job on the building where my business resides. The building looks BRAND NEW! I am so happy to have my clients arrive and not see the mold and grime that had covered the siding previously. Al also was willing to work around our business hours which was extremely helpful. I will be getting a quote from him to do my deck next!

Excellent job painting our office! The attention to detail that Al provides is exemplary. He takes pictures of the walls before painting and then hangs everything back up exactly where it was before, amazing!

I’ve used Prime Painting for a couple projects, both residential and business. I’ve been satisfied with the results. I love how my barn job turned out. He was every flexible about working the business painting around our schedule, doing a little bit on several different days so we could operate are business as normal through the process. Estimates tend to be more informal, but I’ve never been charged more than the original quote.

We have used prime painting twice and have been very happy with the level of service. He thought Al was honest, neat, professional and with reasonable pricing.

Prime Painting and Power washing have done a fabulous paint job in our kitchen. We did a partial upgrade and had cabinets, walls, doors and window trims all painted. The crew were always on time, clean and tidy in their work and left the kitchen looking fantastic.

I suppose my first mistake was to take the recommendation of a real estate agent for a painter to paint the interior of our house. I did not get other estimates, but now I realize that I should have done that because other painters were willing to give me an estimate based on the painting job per room. Mr. Deacon, owner of Prime Painting, proposed a contract where we were to pay him $13,200 to paint some interior walls with the work to be completed in 6 weeks starting December 29, 2017. Well, $25,000 and FOURTEEN weeks later, we told Mr Deacon we had had enough. In his contract, he quoted $55 per hour for 40 hour weeks. Even though we told him that 9 am was a good starting time each day, he never showed up before 11 or 11:30 am and stopped promptly at 3:30 or 4 pm. I kept track of his hours and with each invoice, I realized that he was actually charging us $70-75 per hour. We ended up with only 4 rooms plus hallway and small bathroom painted for $25,000! I WARN OTHERS to not hire Prime Painting unless they are willing to have the project take TWICE as long and to be overcharged!

Prime Painting (Al) is not trustworthy and lies about timeline and work. We hired him to paint our house so we could put it on the market. After three months of stories and excuses we had to fire him, losing our deposit ($2500). He made our lives a nightmare. Use his service at your own risk. You have been warned.
