Popeye's Asphalt Services rocks! From beginning to end, Kenny kept me informed. Of the 3 asphalt contractors I contacted, he was the first one to respond, come out, and propose an estimate. Of the 3 bids his was by far the lowest. His crew did an outstanding job. They were careful and showed great attention to detail. Do yourself and your pocket book a favor and use Popeye's.

Very professional. I am pleased with the finished product and am excited to enjoy my new drive way. I have poor soil under my old drive way and once that was discovered. They called me and asked how I wanted to proceed. They dug down and added insulation. I would use Popeye's again in needed. They do excellent work!

Kenny took the time to go over and answer all my questions for the project. His crew came in and did an awesome job, add that to the fact that he was half again as much as the next quote (I got 4) and I would highly recommend using Popeye's Services for any paving projects. If there was any detractor it was that he is hard to get a hold of by phone (understandable in his busy season), but the work performance and price point outweighed the communication issues to me.

Kenny with Popeye's Paving is an honest contractor and these days its not easy to find. When others were telling me what I couldn't do, Kenny offered solutions to widening my driveway. He removed the old and installed a new wider driveway. He delivered exactly what was promised and in the timeline promised for a hightly affordable rate.

I recommend Popeye’s Services to everyone. They do a great job in a timely manner! They are very professional keeping up with the status of your project between phone calls and email and respond quickly. I truly believe Kenny will tell you your best option for an affordable price. I got the number for Popeye's from my contractor who i trust. I also got other bids and his was the lowest so i went based on the recommendation. The project was to excavate and lay asphalt in front of my shop. 1st issue was they came to start the project and cut down a tree that we never discussed removing, when i asked him why he said it had to... no call, no discussion, good bye 40 year old birch. Then when the job was dont he packed up and left without informing me to go over the project. A couple days later i found water to be running into my shop, the grade was draining the wrong way. I called him and he said it happens and my driveway is too flat and i need gutters. I called again and asked him how he was going to fix it and he said he would put in a concrete gutter. He did that and it works but the entire pad is heaving and un-level. i called again about that and he told me to "settle down" and it would settle down in the spring... we will see how much it "settles" down but i doubt he will do anything about it. bottom line is you get what you pay for, i do NOT recommend Popeye's Services and would go with someone with better customer service and support.

First time customer with this company because of a friend's referral. Popeye's prices are going to be significantly more affordable than any other companies in the local area. Furthermore, the company made some common sense adjustments to my schedule and weather to make it happen as quickly as possible. The customer service was second to none because the owner and his wife communicated through both email, voice, and text messages where I was updated on the status at all times. In addition, this company is very military friendly with reasonable discounts and also gave me additional discounts for the weather delays. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company to any residential property owners that need to get their driveways fixed soon. It was "stress-free" and painless through the whole process.
