We needed a roof inspection report for our homeowners insurance company. Joe came out the same day I called him and we got the report within a day or two. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was thorough and explained things clearly.

Joe has done work great work on our homes. We called Joe when we started seeing signs of a leak on a new property we bought with an older roof. We monitored the leak for a couple weeks and even after rain storms, he would check in with us. When it became apparent that intervention was needed, we called Joe and he put us on his schedule. Within a week he came out and tested the area, found it and fixed the area in question. This is why we recommend Joe to all of our friends and family. The best.

I can't speak highly enough about Joe and Point Judith Peaks. He is very prompt, informative, fair with pricing, and extremely honest. He is my go to for all contracting needs, not only roofs. He is also a certified roof inspector. Another company working in my neighborhood asked if they could inspect my roof and my husband allowed them to. They said we were in need of a new one. I called Joe to inspect and was advised absolutely did not need a new roof. He very easily could have said it did knowing I would give him the business. I contacted Joe to look at a couple of issues on the roof of the house I recently purchased. This was a very minor repair but he took the time to clearly and thoroughly explain what he was seeing (along with photos) and made the repairs needed to prevent problems down the road. Pt. Judith Peaks did a stellar job replacing our roof. So when I noticed that one of our second-floor sills was rotting, I immediately called Joe and asked his advice about what to do. Joe’s crew worked through the heat and humidity along with a couple of town building delays and created an outside retreat that is not only beautiful but will last for many, many years. In addition, stairs on the other side of the house changed from a small platform with two rickety steps to what you see in the pictures below. Pt.Judith Peaks are some of the best around!! As a homeowner dealing with a first time insurance claim, I wasn’t very knowledgeable on how to ask the right questions nor get what was needed but Mark and his team were there to help quickly and throughly!! Communication - From first contact to job completion Mark kept us informed of the schedule, process, and any followup needed. Our phone calls were returned quickly and he was sensitive to any concerns. Joe was also very knowledgable regarding insurance coverage and payments.
Informative - The planning stage was timely, had informative recommendations and was responsive to our requests all with a competitive price. There was a detailed contract to inspect before signing.
Competent team - A team of 6 or 7 arrived early and stayed late to complete our job as quickly as possible. They worked intently yet carefully, protecting the property while proceeding impressively to strip, repair, and replace the roof with a 6’ ice shield, new ridge vent and new vent flashing. We also contracted them to replace the gutters which was done on a separate day.
Clean up - The roofing team cleared away the debris all during their process and thoroughly cleaned the property when completed.
Follow-up - Mark returned several times to make sure we were completely happy with the project. He also addressed and corrected a concern we had with the gutter installation. All throughout, he was pleasant and eager to serve us well.

Overall, we heartily recommend Point Judith Peaks and are encouraged to find that a truly competent contractor still exists.

This was my first experience with any large home repair. Mark was extremely patient and professional with me. He explained every detail to me in terms that I would understand. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I would fully recommend Point Judith Peaks.

We contracted Point Judith Peaks to repair a set of back stairs that was collapsing. They were able to use the original concrete footer and some of the understructure that was still in good shape, saving us a significant amount of money. The resulting stairs, now made with composite material that matches our deck, are much better looking than what was there in the first place, as well as being sturdier, better weather-protected, and likely to last much longer. We did have a few scheduling issues - rain, labor, and other factors combined to push a job we'd hoped to complete in August into November, but that's about our only complaint! We'd definitely recommend Point Judith Peaks to others.

We needed a new roof. In a nutshell, Joe Liptak and Pt. Judith Peaks exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Here's why: 1) Joe explained his recommendations and showed us photos of the problem spots. Our interaction felt more like a classroom discussion than a sales pitch. 2) Great communication. Every time I texted Joe, he got back to me right away. Having dealt with other contractors, I would say Point Judith Peaks is in a league of its own in terms of responsiveness. 3) On-time delivery. Joe stated how long it would take to finish our roof, and his estimate was spot on in terms of the number of days to completion. We started one day late, because of the heavy rains early this fall. Nobody can control the elements. But Joe alerted us about the weather issues early, and his team worked over the weekend to catch up. 4) Attention to detail. One of the biggest indications of attention to detail is the orderliness of the workplace environment. This is particularly true of roofing, which is a messy business -- the shingles, the nails, the flashing and rotten bits of wood coming down, and the replacement material going up. Joe's team kept our driveway tidy. But I especially liked the fact that one roofer did nothing but pick up debris all day. When Joe and I walked the property midway through the projection, he picked up junk that had somehow escaped the exhaust chutes streaming from our roof. Pt. Judith left our yard pristine and protected our shrubs. With this kind of attention to detail, it's no wonder that our new roof looks no crisp. The company's work is meticulous. 5) Pricing -- It was fair, and there were no surprises. I was especially pleased with how Pt. Judith Peaks worked the payments. It was another example of Joe's consultative approach, which you'll understand if you contract with his firm. One last thing: I found Pt. Judith Peaks through a web search and did not know anyone at the company prior to this project.

Loved working with Joe and his business Point Judith Peaks. We had a new roof installed recently. Everything was completed within the stated time frame, even though it was the hottest two days of the summer. His roofing team worked so hard. We were given a very detailed contract, spent selection time on the shingles, started the job on the exact date (as well as finished), stripped off all the 30 yr shingles, created a new ridge vent, sealed other vents, supplied great coverage for our landscape plantings, and cleaned up everything, using a strong magnet to search for any loose nails. Not a one to be found post-project. I might add that over the course of a few months, I obtained four estimates from responsible roofing companies and Point Judith Peaks was very competitive. Thank you Joe, and all the crew for a terrific job and experience. Would recommend highly if you are considering a new project.

We had our wood deck replaced with composite decking. The service was excellent. The two person crew of Luis and Willey were amazing. Any questions or concerns were addressed and explained fully. The crew lead by Geovainni did excellent work. After the rain there was no puddle on the roof . Joe was nice and clearly explain the cost. His employees seemed happy to work for him. I find that very important.

This is the second home Joe and Mark did for me. They reviewed my homeowner's policy, explained some of the ambiguous terms that seem to be prevalent with insurance companies. They inspected my roof, then met with the insurance rep twice. It was made clear that there were no promises as to coverage. In the end, all was covered except for the deductible ! They returned all my texts and phone calls promptly. They gave me a quality architectural style shingle, of which I've received several compliments from neighbors and friends. His work crew is the best I've seen. While some were cutting and installing, some were cleaning up behind them. Still can't believe they laid down 4 by 8 sheets of plywood and the shingles in just one day. They even cut in and installed my exhaust vent for the upstairs bathroom free of charge. (First vent in 100 years). The pointing of the chimney was also done perfectly. I have referred a few friends to them with confidence. A B I G Thank You again !!!

Contractor worked well with insurance company to settle the roof claim. Job was actually started nearly 2 weeks ahead of ETA and finished in one day, leaving grounds as they found it. No negative surprises- everything delivered as per contract and verbal statements. Easy as 1-2-3. Highly recommended

In October 2022 my husband and I was visited by a spokesperson from Point Judith Peaks asking to go up and inspect our roof and possibly give us an estimate in which we allowed. One week later we experienced a heavy rain storm as well as a leak in our master bedroom in the very area that was inspected. So of course considering the coincidence of the visit from a roofing company just one week prior we used Point Judith Peaks to repair our roof.
Later on that month the property adjacent to our home experienced a fire which damaged our fence as well as our siding. We repaired our fence and Point Judith Peaks subcontracted a company to repair our siding.
The roofing work was done to our satisfaction. As we reside in a duplex home only our side was damaged, not our neighbors but we were able get the house done as a whole not just the damaged side. The siding was done to our satisfaction despite the delays or excuses from the workers (one worker claimed a backache, trucks breaking down). When we asked if our shed (just two sides of it because the shed is up against our fence) could also be changed to match the newly sided house with the leftover materials from the house project with pay of course we were told no. We were also told that there wasn’t any more material left to do the two sides of the shed by Joe the company’s owner, but the subcontractor for the siding, Diego told my husband and I that there was more than enough leftover materials to do our shed and that it would only take not even a whole day to complete.
This company is based out of Rhode Island but solicited work from us in Bridgeport, Connecticut. We’ve resided in our home for over 17 years and never had a leak from our roof, until coincidentally a representative from Point Judith Peaks knocked on our door and a week later we experienced a leak in our master bedroom. We would never negate a company’s work if it is done to satisfaction, this is not the issue. We feel we were baited to choose this company to do our roof work based on the circumstances surrounding us. They will knock on your door, gain your confidence then as luck would have it you coincidentally need them to to the very work they solicited you for. When we asked if a smaller job can be done with extra pay of course we were flatly denied. When you have any kind of work done to your home-your safe place you want to feel good about the company who is conducting the work. We do not feel good about this company. They got the work, they got the check that’s all that matters to them. We would not recommend this company to do work based on how we were treated as well as solicited by them. It seems dishonest. It seems like shystie or unscrupulous business practices.

We wanted to not only replace our roof but also to add on a dormer so that we could access our attic, and Joe was really great to work with.

Because we had a complicated project, there were a lot more moving parts than just a roof replacement, but Joe took the time to 1) answer all of our questions, 2) look at the budget stuff with us line by line so that our costs were crystal clear, 3) talk to our insurance company to get them to cover a lot more than I expected, 4) work with an architect to draw up plans for the dormer, and 5) schedule his teams to build out the dormer and replace the roof quickly and without fuss.

Once his team got started on our roof, installation on our house and shed was done in less than two days! They left the sight immaculate, and our roof looks and performs exceptionally well! Point Judith Peaks installed a 300 sq ft outdoor porch to my one-story ranch and transformed it from a drab 1950s home to a classic beach cottage. From my initial conversations with the owner we discussed many options and Joe's input was incredibly helpful in deciding on the finished size of the enclosed and open decks, the railings and deck seating. Pt Judith helped with the arch. drawings, pulled all the permits and made everything a breeze ... sea breeze that is! We started just as the Covid shutdown was starting and they were totally upfront with all the challenges about finding materials and scheduling work when everyone could be safe. Along with the porch they all installed a 14 ft. glass sliding door that totally opened up the entire house, making the inside and outside of the house into one flowing room. I was so happy with the work I had them come back and replace an aging garage door with another sliding door to turn our garage into a multipurpose room.
