Pit Stop RV and Trailers

On my way to Yellowstone, my motorhome found a pothole on a very narrow, curvy, and busy two-lane road, putting my motorhome into a guardrail, damaging the door to the point it won't latch properly. Long story short, Pit Stop RV and Trailer was highly recommended by another RVer. I spoke with Casey, and he felt they might be able to help me out. It was decided that I would stop by there as I passed through on my way to Idaho Falls, about 20 miles south of Rexburg, the next day, July 17th. Before I could even get out of the motorhome, Chase met me, took pictures and measurements of the door and the area around it. I had already made the decision that I would stay in Idaho Falls while Pit Stop tried to locate a replacement door. Casey kept me updated on the lack of success in trying to locate the replacement. I can say that Pit Stop tried all avenues they could before they finally found a business that appears to have one, but the lead time is unknown. Today is August 8th, and because of the lead time to get the door shipped in, etc, I need to leave the area by the 12th. I spoke with Casey about settling my bill. Casey was very quick to point out that the email he sent to me was for whoever I have repair my door when I arrive back home in Nevada as they knew that I was limited on time and that there was NO bill to be paid! These two young brothers went out of their way to locate a door for me and shared the information with me knowing that I may not be around for them to complete the job! I can't say enough good things about the customer service I received by these brothers. The RVer who had recommended them to me told me that while they waited on the axle for his 5th wheel, he was staying at the farm where the business is located in his 5th wheel!

Traveling through Idaho we had an issue with one of our camper jacks. We called pitstop and spoke with Chase the owner. He said come on by and he would do what he could to help us out. Without hesitation, he offered to help us, we were there within a half hour. Chase took the time away from his day troubleshooting our issue ordered a tube of grease from Napa, it was there within a half hour no extra charge, couldn’t be more happy and thankful for pitstop very knowledgeable about trailers and RV’s. Would definitely use them again, most definitely recommend them for anyone in the area in need of service for their RVs and/or utility trailers!! Seems very honest and trustworthy, wish their shop was in our hometown!!

This guy, Chase, and his wife are the best possible folks to handle any rv services you may need…!! Both have gone so far beyond what could be considered fair customer service in getting our trailer hitch installed..! Shipping the part was a nightmare Chase could do nothing about and still he and his wife spent 2 hours with UPS trying to fix the issue. Finally got it in and he had all hands on deck to install it professionally and as fast as possible.. Cannot recommend Pit Stop RV highly enough…!!

What a great experience!. We were strangers in town (Rexburg,Idaho)heading to Yellowstone for a great week of fun with family and relatives when our RV coach batteries died. We were able to purchase 2 new specialty batteries from O’Reillys and the manager was very helpful. After installing them nothing would work. We called Camping World in Idaho Falls and they never responded back because they were too busy. I was able to find a local RV specialist in Rexburg (Casey Russell with Pitstop RV and Trailers). They were a miracle worker especially after diagnosing that it wasn’t a problem with the battery or the switches. He found that it was the BATTERY RELAY. He quickly replaced it within minutes with minimal charge and soon we were on our way!!! We highly recommend him and would give him a 12 out of 10. Thank you again Casey! We felt we developed a good friend in the process.

These guys do a stand up job. Got me done ahead of schedule, cheaper than another quote by half. Not only that, they brought up an issue I didn’t realize, offered to fix it, and when I declined - offered to help me source the parts to fix it myself. Class act. Kind of company you go out of your way for.

Had the fridge replaced in my camper and they did a great job. Casey and Chase were great to work with and they kept me up to date along the way. Highly recommend!!

Great guys, I called them on a Friday morning around 9 am, I told them I was from out of town and they had me bring my Motorhome to them right then. They were able to get us up and going the same day and saved our vacation, all at a very fair price! Thanks guys!

I cannot say more about Chase and Casey at Pit Stop RV. We blew a tire on the highway during our road trip from Florida to Alaska, and within minutes their crew was responsive and able to get our trailer in to get us back on the road. Within a day (less then 10 hours) they repaired our trailer brakes, the main black and gray tank plumping, took care of our wheel bearings, did trim repair and sealed part of our roof. They were so kind, unbelievably informative, and made sure to keep us safe for our future travels. Their communication was top notch. If we could bring them back home to Alaska with us we would in a second. Thank you for taking care of our family!

Jason and his brother was very good at fixing our RV. They sealed the roof and they took their time to make sure they had all the holes sealed. They sealed all the way around the windows, door, storage compartments. Fixed the trim coming from the roof. They did the work on our RV las if it was their own RV. They also serviced the generator this was all done on short notice. Besides the professionalism and great attitude’s is a rare thing to find now days. So, if you need any work done on your RV the Pit Stop is the place to go. They will do it right the first time.

We had an electrical issue on our travel trailer. We called Pit Stop and explained the problem and Chase told us to bring it right in, We did and Casey took a look, immediately determined the issue and fixed it. All with a big smile and friendly handshake. And, about an hour later, Chase called to see if everything was working right once we got back to our campsite. These guys know their business and are great technicians. They are working at getting their own shop going, so if you are in the Rexburg area, give them a shout. Tad and Andrea

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I called them while I was traveling and they tried to help me with my refrigerator. I was able to get it partially working, enough to save my food. When I arrived in Idaho, they jumped right on it. They were able to fix it and no parts needed. I highly recommend them for their customer service and professionalism.

They pay attention to detail and work really hard. They made sure that everything looked good. We would use them again! Highly recommend them!

Chase and crew at Pit Stop redid the back ramp on my snowmobile trailer. I took it in and it was half broken off the trailer. They were super straightforward on what needed to be done. I wasn’t braced for all they said it would take but I went ahead with it. They were very communicative all the way through the process and when I went out to pick it up I was very impressed with how good it looks and how sturdy it was built. They made the whole trailer better in many ways. I appreciated them and the great work they did for me. Would highly recommend!!!

Went here for wheel bearing servicing on our trailer. They were fair priced. They also have gone above and beyond on addressing other things that they saw needed some attention just out of goodwill. They also took time to educate me on some maintenance things that I could do myself that I didn’t know about. Really appreciate thee great service from Chase and Casey.

I had an excellent experience with Pit Stop RV and Trailers! They repaired my stove top, replaced a leaking black tank valve that was causing a horrible smell inside the trailer, and installed a new switched outlet to power my Starlink router on and off. Everything was completed ahead of schedule, and the pricing was more than fair.

The level of service here is far superior to what you'd get at one of the big RV dealerships—these guys actually care and it shows. Highly recommend Pit Stop RV and Trailers for any of your RV service needs. I'll definitely be coming back for future work!

I can’t speak highly enough about Pit Stop RV Repair in Rexburg, ID. They fix my axle on my 5th Wheel to get me back on the road. They kept me informed about the progress. Conscientious, thorough and friendly with all aspects of the repair. I feel they went above and behind the repair by checking all aspects of my both axles to get me back on the road again. Very fair with their pricing. If you are traveling in the area of East Idaho and need repair of your trailer or RV give them a call. They do outstanding work.

These brothers care about others and got quite the work ethic. I mentioned a problem I had with my wiring and they got me taken care of on the spot.

Cant say enough about this place! They worked very close with us to make sure our parts would arrive and get installed before we had to leave in a few days. They worked us in, used SEVERAL certified techs to get the big job done in 1 day..which included replacing three 7k axels, new brakes and hubs and changing out all 6 leaf springs for stronger ones! They shared lots of great information and taught us things we didnt even know about our 5th wheel. They looked our rig over with a fine tooth comb, and pointed out things we needed to keep an eye on, etc. We had AMAZING communication throughtout the process, including photo updates! We felt very comfortable and safe having the work done..its rare to find so much integrity these days. I strongly recommend these guys!

We had an emergency with our camper and we stopped here. Talked to the guys about our options for getting it repaired and they gave us some options. They got us in quickly and did a great job. The customer service I got was top notch.

We stopped in to get a diagnosis on the refrigerator of our rental RV and they were able to get us in with 30 minutes notice. They were knowledgeable and able to find the issue, unfortunately the manufacturer of the fridge didn’t carry the part we needed but the technician tried to find it for us. Friendly, fast service, a great choice for locals or travelers like us just passing through beautiful Idaho!

These guys are the best, friendliest business in Rexburg. If they can't help you fix your RV then you'll just have to live with an ugly dented RV.

Best place around to get work done on your trailer. We had an issue with our siding and had issues with our insurance. Chase handled everything like a pro with our insurance and got our camper back fast. We are blessed to have met and worked with these guys. We bring our travel trailer to Pit Stop RV for maintenance and we have been very pleased with their service. We recently had some electrical issues with the trailer. Carry and Jordan are awesome! They came out and put in two new equalizers and leaf springs! They did a great job, were very courteous and got the job done on time. Would highly recommend!
