Great employees! Was looking for a small Ace branded Philips/Slotted reversible screwdriver for a specific task. First employee walked around with me looking at a few possible locations. A second joined in and determined they were out of stock, but said he would check his own drawer. Came back with one, gave it to me, and insisted no charge! Above and beyond. Thank you!

I did an online order and was called 20 minutes later to confirm. Very nice touch, don't get that kind of service anymore. Unfortunately, I don't remember the young ladies name. I went to pick up my item the next , which was ready at the cashier. Cool, old-time style store, ended up picking up some other items.

Aces the place in Haleiwa and the boys in the yard are also helpful Phil and the rest help you get it done quick in and out propane Lumber plumbing supplies just about anything you need always willing to compete with Home Depot and Lowe's without having to spend the gas money for the long drive I did my room addition off the back of my house and got all my lumber through ACE Hardware in Haleiwa and Wahiawa some of the best Lumber straight clean and competitively priced they were even willing to do better than hunsador and got my delivery quick I like to keep the business right here on the North Shore whenever possible thank you John Lane

Best hardware store on the North Shore! Friendly staff and have most of what you need for general, simple home repairs.

We locked our keys in our rental van down the street at the beach and the staff went above and beyond to help us. The two ladies (I apologize that I didn’t not get your names) assisted us crazy tourists in finding tools and even making some phone calls to find locksmith prices (and attempting to pulling in a personal favor).

Friendly service, I was helped and assisted immediately. Love the brand name power tools in the lawn and garden (sthil and shindaiwa) and also the upgrade in Ace brand tool line more durable handles in rakes and shovels and the best machetes in the island great for bananas and fruit harvesting.

They have everything you need. Don't go unless you are ready to pay. Still cheaper than driving to town and paying for gas.

Be sure to keep receipt and if for any reason you need to return an item, it has to be at same location. Each one is privately owned. We bought a tent and was unopened. Attempted to return in Waikiki and was unable to. We ended up gifting the unopened tent to someone that needed it. Happy to pay it foward.

Solid place, great customer service. Prices are a little higher than big box stores but good selection. Be careful as some items are significantly (2x) higher.

I don't why I keep going back there! I guess because it's the only hardware store on the north shore! They bend you over every time you go in there!! I thought buying a new propane tank and having it filled myself would be cheaper than a propane exchange but no! Turns out it was fifteen dollars higher than an exchange!! You can't win at that place!!!

I really enjoy shopping at Haleiwa Ace Hardware. They have a good selection of building products, and the employees there are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I've been shopping there for many years and I'm always treated with the utmost respect by not just the employees who have been working there for years and are my friends, but the newer hirees as well. They're all good and I don't want to name names but I have to say that a young lady named Nala ( I think she is a manager, and if she's not, she should be) has been the most helpful for years. She's awesome.
I would have liked to give Ace Hardware Haleiwa 5 stars but the lumber quality sometimes is poor and I am forced to pay 10% extra for select.

Great store, good location. Somewhat cluttered, but it close to Christmas and they are ready for it. Easy time shopping for what I needed.

Pricey, but nearby for a quick run. Offers coupons regularly. Like a mini home depot with wood, ice, propane and key service in the back. Staff can help you locate anything.
