Pilot Travel Center - Tonopah, AZ

I made it to this Pilot early morning about 6am I finally closed my eyes when some older white male bang on my door like crazy. So I woke up and open my door the older guy said I need help someone felt and needs help. As a helpful human my 1st instant put on my shoes and got off the truck. As he was taking me to a back area away from the trucks. I seen a group of 5 to 6 people. I said you have plenty of help I'm heading back to my truck. On of the guys took out a gun and said give me all your money if you run I will shoot you. They took me to an ATM at Pilot they has another guy taking out money there so they walk me across the street to the other ATM to take out money. When we got back they had another guy he pick a fight so that was my opportunity to ran. I called the cops made a report the other guy also made a report the 3rd guys took of chasing them. I also call my bank and made a report. Since the store had cameras they were able to see who it was and I was able to get my money from my bank. Also the cops mentioned that they had so many cases in that Pilot. When I asked for the manager she looked at me like its not a big deal this is so normal here. The feeling she gave me is that she involved and she knows this group of guys robbing the truckers. Because of this experience I will not be stopping to help anyone.

I found a smart phone that was given to the employee Debbie, it had a blue cover and a dual camera. I found it at 12:00 pm on 3/7/2025.

I hope this review makes it to the corporate office, but all Pilot truck stops and Flying J's need to incorporate time limits on showers especially during rush hour. It's not fair to other truck drivers that we have to wait an hour while another driver's in there taking a crap and jerking off. 15 minutes is more than sufficient to take a shower. It's highly ridiculous the drivers should have to wait an hour or more to shower at night. We all drive all day long everybody wants to shower. We shouldn't have to wait all night to get in after a long day on the road. So I want to add that I selected to take a shower at 6:00 at night there was 10 people online when I selected to take the shower I didn't get called till after 9 P.M. and they had eight at this location. That means people were taking over an hour to shower which is insane period these are facts and it said other truck drivers should have consideration for other drivers.

Bad place for anyone needing diesel and having a time frame. Several of the gas pumps are often down for "reset". We waited here for 45 minutes to fill up because the pump went down on the person right in front of us and rather than shut the pump down and help redirect the trucks so everyone can get through timely, the employees did nothing and seem annoyed by the issue. Like I get it's annoying for them but then tell your boss to handle it. The employee said its a "normal thing" to have to reser and only takes "5 to 10 minutes" but we were here for 55 minutes from entrance to exit. If its normal then do it on time and close the lane. At least 10 trucks pulled up after us and left before us, if an employee had simply closed the next lane so that we could go to it then that would've been a perfect solution for everyone. I usually prefer Pilots but this one is not recommended.

A guy was in the women’s restroom when I came out of the stall. I was terrified and quickly got out, couldn’t even wash my hands. If he worked there that’s still unacceptable because male employees are supposed to make sure the bathroom is empty before they service it. This world we live in. So sad :( I told an associate then told my husband to let’s just get the gas and get out of here!!!

At midnight on a Friday, coffee grinding/brewing machines not working properly, no second person at cash registers to help long line of customers. No thanks for the “self” checkout stations that are NOT intuitive to use. Ladies restroom needed attention. Pretty much FSIL all the way around. Oh, yeah, diesel pump was slow AF!

Traveled a tad out the way to used tank dumps and get propane just to find out they provide neither. Seems trucker stations have become a LOT more RV UNfriendly. Loves, pilots, heck even RV dealerships no longer service black, grey or even fresh water tanks. And getting propane filled is like pulling polar bear teeth. Sigh

Terrible.!!! Too long to take a shower. There were 14 people in front of me. It's been 2 hours and there are still 12 guests waiting for a shower! Ridiculous!
Nobody is cleaning the bathrooms, they should respect the truck drivers' time. We move the country and we arrive tired and want to relax.

I stop today filled my tanks with diesel then I reserve a shower they were 8 guess ahead of me waited for 2 hrs when it was just 1 guess ahead of me suddenly the app log me out I ask the attendant was very rude the showers stop working he said some problems with the laundry I told him I don’t use pilot towels I always carry my own he said he couldn’t help me worse experience period

My name is Jonathan today October 3rd at 10:00 pm I called the Store to request if the shower is working.

And I was completely mistreated by a man and a woman who hung up on me multiple times.

Look for another Store, this one is not worthy of our driver.

The employees appeared to be high

First time here gotta pass by all the time staff staff was super nice clean pumps few good parking across the road is parking too

Today at 8:50AM I pull up at the Pilot Truck Stop mind you I need the restroom no need for fuel or to buy anything I'm pulling a set of Doubles Truck stops don't have parking for our type of trucks as I'm getting off my truck this crazy looking man wearing a leaf blower on his back comes screaming every cussing word in the book calling me a idiot etc then he pulls his cell phone out of his pocket to start snapping photos of me and my truck so in case he calls in for whatever reason I have a photo of/ video of him and how unhindge he was this guy dosent get it I guess it's a truck stop not your 4 wheeler convenience store.

Clean lot, plenty backing room. Mexican food across the street. 3 stars cause I've been next for a shower for about 30mins now. An employee is cleaning everything but the showers as I type, wiping down the refrigerator doors as if they're dirty. There's 5 people in line, I see 3 shower doors open not being cleaned.
