Josh did an excellent job removing my 70 year old plaster ceiling, fixing the nearly 3 inch differential in the joists, and installing and texturing the drywall...all in only 3 days!

Joshua did a great job on my 16 foot high ceiling. I had holes from the previous owners light fixture. He even fixed a few areas that I did not have in the estimate no charge. In the end you would never know where the holes were. Perfect match.

I reached out to him to repair the dry wall around my bedroom door, and also the door frame. He was speedy and did a phenomenal job. He actually did such a great job, that I asked if he could repair a hole in a bathroom wall, that was separate from my initial request. His pricing and delivery is more than fair, and I’ll absolutely be using him for any further dry wall needs I may have!

Josh did an excellent job on the repair of my drywall. He was very friendly and efficient. No leftover materials, anywhere dust, etc. I couldn’t even tell that anybody had been there. Mostly just disappointing after seeing all the rave reviews. At first everything seemed great, Josh replied to my inquiry about finishing my bathroom drywall. My husband and I did most of the rework, including horizontal taping and refill. We hired him for a level 4 finish and skim coat of the ceiling. Within a few hours of inquiry, Josh replied and gave me a quote. Outside of the first day, he was never on time, nor even close to his scheduled time, it always seemed like our project was at the bottom of his list. Thankfully my husband works from home, bet even still he was literally never here when he said. Upon “finishing” the project it was clear that Josh has skill, but puts little effort into his work. My husband and I have had to refill and patch around outlets and also cut a switch out of the wall because it was completely mudded behind the drywall. He did save us time, which is why we hired him, but we still put 3+ hours into filling air bubbles and hiring someone to get the shower wall he secured squarely so that our tile in the new shower lined up with the endpoint of the wall. The only reason he is getting 3 stars is because he came back once to fix a few places I sent him images of…. Again with little effort. He is a really nice guy and I am sure he can do great work when he can take his time.

We have had several seam-cracks in our ceilings that have been repaired multiple times in the 26+ years we’ve lived in this house, and everyone who has tried to repair them, from the home builder while under warranty, to professional contractors, to various local handymen, has done it the same way: cover the cracks with that self-adhesive mesh tape and then mud and texture over that. It has never worked; the cracks always returned.

A few years ago, we lucked into finding Joshua. He instead channeled out the cracks – making them larger – and filled them with a flexible compound before mudding and texturing. The cracks have not returned, and I am confident they never will. He also perfectly matched the hand-texturing we have. I doubt anyone could find where the cracks were.

Joshua also works cleanly and professionally. He uses a high-quality vacuum/filter system while channeling out the cracks, preventing any dust from getting anywhere. The house was just as clean after he left as it was before he started. And during his outdoor prepping and cleanup, he even used his own garden hose, which we appreciated greatly. We’ve had many trades here over the years, doing many different jobs, and not one of them ever used their own garden hose. Once, after some hardscaping was done, we found dried concrete all over our hose and nozzle.

I do have to say that Joshua is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for the lowest price, you should probably look elsewhere. But if you want the job done right, want it done permanently, and want your home treated with respect, then look no further.

Josh is the “drywall whisperer”. He repaired an area of about 18” square. It looks like there never was a hole there! I have wonderful before and after photos but not techie enough to submit them. I would highly recommend him for any drywall repair!

We were able to be scheduled for drywall repair and paint quickly. Everything was completed in a timely manner and the communication was great! The paint matches perfectly and it can hardly be noticed that a repair was needed.

We needed drywall repairs on at least 6 walls. Most had water damage. I also addressed a few other spots. He missed at least 4 of them. Josh would show up late. And be in a hurry to leave. He came over 3 different times to work on walls, a bit of inconvenience, but i was being cooperative to his schedule. I thought he would have a crew, but it was only him, except for one day he brought his young son. Nice kid, BTW. Several places weren't even done, as we agreed. Original quote was $400 more than another quote i received. I talked him down to meet me in the middle.
The finish wasn't even close to existing finish. Terrible! I will not use him again. I won't recommend him. I didn't contact him with my complaints because I don't want him back. Nice guy to talk to and I trusted him by his demeanor. Bad idea. I didn't look at walls until we started to paint... then I seen the poor finish. It sticks out like a sore thumb! If I have it corrected, I will have to paint again. 5 walls with ceilings! He didn't ask me to observe the quality. I would think he should have his own quality control, but there was nothing. I have him a 2 out of 5, to match the 40% he deserved. I should have only paid 40% of what I paid. That is what it is worth.

I was referred by my handyman to Joshua for a dry wall repair in my garage years ago. To this day, I still use Joshua for all my dry wall repairs.
