Perma-Roof

The Southern Builders/Perma-Roof crew came out yesterday & finished up one awesome reroofing job of our home here in Middle TN! We had severe damage from the storm that went through 3/3/2023. We feel very Blessed in finding Southern Builders & rate them highly if you need roof work done!

We signed a contract with Permaroof on 08/28/2020 and was told that it would be 4-6 weeks before installing a metal roof for us. A couple months went by and we didn’t hear anything, so after contacting them...the excuses started- “we need to get a couple more jobs in your area”, “there’s a 20% chance of rain”, “Sir, we are just extremely busy”, “we need 3 days with no chance of rain”, “COVID has us backed up”.
6 months later, they finally had us scheduled to get our roof installed! The excitement only lasted a couple hours before they called us back to say they didn’t feel comfortable with the contractors they’d scheduled to do our roof (it’s a double-wide mobile home!) So....we play this waiting game again! There’s a chance of rain the next week. Which brings us to today, we called to see if we are on the schedule since the weather is supposed to be beautiful and sunny.....we are NOT! Now, they apparently “need to order more material” for us, so it ain’t happening this week either....7 months later- no roof and not even on their schedule! I couldn’t imagine having to deal with their warranty department- if you can’t get them to come in the first place? If you actually need a roof installed in a timely manner, I’d recommend another company that values their contracts.

I had my roof installed on 06/25/2020. The installers name was Rich. He installed my roof by himself and did an excellent job. He was very personable and answered all of my questions. Our new roof is beautiful!!
