We are absolutely delighted with our new garage! Affordable Building Concepts has a truly professional team of contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers, grounds workers, and other specialists to tackle the myriad jobs involved in a sizable project like our 3-car garage/carport. They kept in excellent communication with us and went out of their way to be certain we were getting exactly what we wanted. We would gladly hire them again and can recommend them to friends and others who are looking for reliable and competent builders.

I've been through several building and remodeling experiences and Affordable Building Concepts was the best. Our project manager, Jordan, was an extremely effective communicator, gave us timely updates, and never surprised us with extra charges. The garage they built us turned out better than we expected. ABC extended our concrete cement pad on our back porch and installed a patio cover. They also extend our driveway so we could have more parking! We are so excited to have these new additions and the work they did was quality.

We very much needed a garage at our house; living with oak trees all around us, squirrels were eating all the wiring in our cars! We looked around at several options and none compared to what Affordable Building Concepts offered. Starting with Joseph Pennington, who made the original visit, to Jordan Young, who oversaw the build - it was a terrific experience. They were great at answering questions in a timely manner, explaining the process along the way, and checking in to make sure we were comfortable with the progress. The garage has been a game-changer for us, and we'd use Affordable again if we end up needing any additional work.

Affordable Building Concepts installed our stamped-concrete patio and sunroom enclosure. Steve was the initial contact from the company. He brought to our attention many valuable options and suggestions for this project. Jordan, the project manager, was very responsive, onsite at times and made sure the project was completed to our satisfaction. There were some minor issues to the patio when the sunroom was installed, but Jordan quickly resolved any outstanding obstacles. The building materials and customer service were top-notch.

We had a challenging time with Metro trying to get permits. ABC took on that entire process and leveraging their experience, reputation, and professionalism, got us over the finish line. I was happy with their communication, their obviously strong relationships with their suppliers and subcontractors, and the quality of the build. This group removed an old deck and installed a new deck. They coordinated and managed the installation of a sunroom covering the majority of the new deck.
I was provided a project manager Jordan who was very helpful and responsive to all my project needs. I needed the area graded after the teardown and before the build. Jordan provided a very good resource for that job. My site lead Matt understood my ideas and also offered valuable suggestions. He and his crew were great to work with.

These folks did an awesome job building my shed. The builder completed the shed in 2 1/2 days including the roofing. It’s incredibly well built and I expect it to last me for many years. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs something built.

They did a great job with my detached 2 car garage. Communication was good and the job was completed in a timely matter. They came back to fix a few things and everything was done to satisfactory.

We can't say enough great things about the work that they did. The people were professional, friendly, super competent and just wonderful to work with. They built a 4 bay pole barn for us with concrete flooring situated next to some existing structures. The work came out beautifully. We will definitely be using them again when we have our next project. Highly recommend them. Oh, and they delivered it on time and on budget :)

While I have not ended up purchasing from ABC, my experience with them has been top notch.

The salesperson that helped me (Joseph P) was an absolute gem. He came to my property and helped me work through exactly what I wanted/needed for my secondary investment building. He worked through several different quotes/plan to eventually land on one that suited my budget. His communication was diligent and precise - Very personable, kind, and respectful.

He did a lot of working communicating with his team about the nuances of codes/zoning to make sure my building and use cases would be legal and suitable. I also spoke with one of my neighbors who had a large shed done by ABC and he said his experience was great as well.

Unfortunately, I was let go from my day job before I could pull the trigger. I had already been approved for financing and with a few more tweaks/negotiations, I'm sure I would've moved forward with ABC. My hope is that I will secure better employment very soon so that I can move forward on this purchase.

Hands down, these folks are fantastic! We contracted with them to build a 30 x 30 garage and they delivered. The whole team were a pleasure to work with and really know their stuff. They are personable and it was fun to get to know them personally. And- we liked the garage so much we had them rebuild our deck!

We initially reached out to ABC to receive an estimate for a DADU project. They came out and talked to us but after this we didn't hear back from them until I posted my unfavorable review.

After that, the owner personally reached out to extend his apologies and take full responsibility which I really appreciated so we set up another time for them to come out and look at our project again.

This time around, we received an estimate within a few days after the visit and I have to admit, this is the best construction estimate we have received from any company we reached out to. Other companies typically just send us a lump sum with little to no breakdown and when asking for a breakdown, they refuse unless we pay hundreds of dollars as deposit.

ABC's estimate is the opposite. It has detailed breakdowns with line item costs so we know what we are paying for. They even included additional services (paint/electric/etc) with cost estimates. Again, this is outstanding and very useful for us trying to determine how to proceed.

We haven't decided if we're moving forward with ABC but I wanted to update my review and thank them for taking a look at our project.

I bought a 16x28 shed. It was installed in the estimated time-frame. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and I love it! The story continues with the EXCEPTIONAL customer service and warranty on workmanship. My shed faces SE and in my new home, I frequently get 20-35mph winds and gust, with driving rain. I experienced water intrusion around the edges of the pull down door. I communicated the concern to Mike and his workers. They came up with a solution to install a very expensive 6' door, which they felt would eliminate the water intrusion. I negotiated to keep my 108" entrance clearance and they built a "108" barn door in front of the pull down door. This maintained my needed entry/exit clearance and provided the "storm door" to eliminate water intrusion from wind driven rain. What a success story! My shed is the envy of neighbors and I love my workspace, which is now secured from any damage. This company provides professional, courteous and responsive workers who provide superior quality work. And, as you can see from my testimony, old school moral principles exist. They honor their word. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Consider them for your custom work!!!

From start to finish ABC did a fantastic job on designing and building my garage. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to start a new building project.

I would give them six stars if I could. I am old school, when I say I am going to do something I do. My business is about my customers, not me. It is a pleasure to do business with a company (and the Owner) that share the same values. As said in a previous review, there were issues that arose during this or any other project. What makes you or breaks you is how you handle those issues. I only wish I had the opportunity to meet Mike and Julie and shake their hands. There are many ways to do the work of the Lord. Affordable Building Concepts is obviously Meeting that objective.

ABC did and excellent job in building our detached garage for all of our landscape equipment. The design and construction process was done in a professional manner. With the exception of an excruciatingly long time for the delivery of the custom garage door, all work was completed in a timely manner.

Our project was a 16x 24 - 2 story building. The price was very reasonable and they did a remarkable job! Everyone in our neighborhood compliments on how great it looks. We have had sheds built by other companies but are not as structually sound as this one. We are so pleased with our purchase and we do recommend ABC to everyone we talk too. Steve

Despite the supply chain issues ABC stayed the course on deadlines. All the workmen, save the painter, we care about keeping the job site and the building clean and neat. I would use them again!

I was very happy with the garage constructed by ABC and would highly recommend them if you are looking for a garage builder. They completed the project on time, used high quality products with good workmanship. Questions were answered promptly and the only change orders were the ones that I requested. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Excellent quality and craftsmanship. We checked with several companies and Affordable Building Concepts provided a fair price for our on-site built unit. Work started at the estimated time and work continued thru completion. We are very pleased with our unit and highly recommend this company.

Project was a 10'x12' garden shed.

Very easy to work with. Came out quickly for an estimate and was able to provide the estimate while on site. When I gave the go-ahead to begin, it only took a couple of days for them to start construction. I was expecting to wait a few weeks, as most things seem to be these days. Construction took four days but two of those days were shortened due to rain. Project took 22 days from first contact to being completed and most of that was waiting for me to hear back from the HOA on design approval.

Very happy with the finished product. I wish the experience with most contractors were as good as this.

We have had numerous companies do work on our property. ABC is one of the few I highly recommend. Very responsive every step of the way. Talked us through the entire process and even saved me money on moving the location a few yards.

Overall I give them a 4, and don't regret using them. I have many years in the building trades/construction arena and so I am probably more picky than most. They could easily be a 5 with a few adjustments. I wouldn't have any issue recommending them if asked.

Very happy with our pole barn garage. The whole experience was stress free and they were always on time and kept us up to date throughout the construction process.

They did an amazing job building my large shed as well as sealing and painting it. Even with slight delays from snow, they kept things on schedule. They were very professional and kept in contact to keep me updated on the supplies and the progress as it went along. If I had any concern they were quick to check it out and address it to make sure I was completely satisfied. I refer others all the time when they're seeking to have a shed built on site.

They helped me with my car port replacement. They are good to work with. It took quite a bit of time due to COVID and supply chain supply issues.

Great experience working with ABC. Everyone including the building inspectors were impressed by the quality of work performed. Hiccups, setbacks and delays came up during the build ( like most projects ) but everything was resolved quickly and ended with results better than expected/ original design.

Contracted these guys as I was in need of a 'lean to' style shed behind my garage. They sent a single guy to my house and for 2.5 days he built this thing from scratch. Solid construction. Incredible craftsmanship. Top notch all around. He leveled it, built it where i wanted it, installed shelves, shingles. Amazing job. I would definitely hire them again for a project. After construction they sent a crew to paint it (i provided the paint). Hire these guys for your next project, I promise you'll be satisfied.

We brought our design to Mike at ABC and he and his crew made it happen. We had a great construction team who met and exceeded our expectations. My husband has been in the construction industry for his entire career and is very picky about all areas of construction...Mike's crew met his standards and that is really saying something. We could not be happier with our home. FYI...we are not completely done so ignore the pallet ramp and other lawn-related deficiencies, lol!

We had ABC install a metal patio cover over the concrete patio in the back yard. The guys did a great job with the installation and used their years of experience to recommend slight adjustments that needed to be made in the placement of the support posts. The only issue we had was not ABC's fault. The manufacturer of the grey steel posts we used has a quality control issue with their finishing. All of the beams had paint imperfections ranging from fine scratches to actual paint chips missing. Mike, the owner of ABC, came to our house in person and inspected the posts. When the replacement posts also had some of the same issues he worked with us and arrived at a compromise that we were happy with. Again, the only issue we had was not with ABC. They were great to work with and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future! Thank you again to Mike and the team for helping make my wife's backyard dream one step closer to a reality!

Mike and his team built our family a great custom pavilion. They exceeded our expectations and worked with us from the beginning of the project to the end to make sure we were takin care of.
