Performance Renovations

We are trying to get the siding redone on our house. I've contacted four places to get a quote. One of the places was Performance Renovation. Ryan came out over a month ago, talk to my husband and I, did all the measurements and then never sent us a quote. I even followed up twice asking if I could get the quote, he apologized, said he'd been busy but again never sent us a quote. This is fascinating to me considering from the other 3 quotes we are looking at a job worth $40,000 that we're paying for with cash, no financing. The other three places gave us quotes on the spot after measuring our house or sent it to us within an hour of our visit. Still not sure why we never received a follow up. But I guess a good indication of what the work would be like?

Update to this review; I thought maybe someone would contact me after this review but we STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK!
Not even sure this business is legal...guessing they don't do things to code or have the correct licensing. Because really, what legitimate business operates like this?

Are they just going to people's house to case the place? Guess I am glad we don't have much to steal...

Had a wall repair due to termite. Also a new shower installed. Good work and good price. Ryan was great to work with.

Project Details:
Custom cedar fence with gates
Replace large concrete pad
Replace front door
Replace basement windows
Update exterior facade of entryway

Overall, we had a very good experience working with Ryan and his team. We love the work they did. They charged a fair rate and did the work in a timely manner. We will likely hire Performance again for future work.

Communication: Ryan was easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and presented us with clear options and recommendations when needed. He even answered my questions that were unrelated to the projects we had going on.

Quality of work: We were fortunate to have Ryan doing most of our work. He took his time and made sure every detail was addressed properly, from making seamless transitions on the fence to making custom moulding for our door.

Scope and Cost: There were no surprises. Ryan kept us updated on the timeline at all stages and discussed how any changes to the original plan would impact cost. Our quote only went up from what was originally estimated because we made changes to materials and processes.

Hiccups: Unfortunately, not everything went perfectly. After significant delays in getting our basement windows (no fault of Performance), the windows were sloppily installed by some of the team. Fortunately, Ryan came out reviewed the work and fixed everything at no extra cost. Now the windows look and work great.
