My parents needed extensive log repair on their 50 yr old log home here in Plant City, Fl. They are in their 80s and could not get anyone to return phone calls for repairs here in Florida. I went on line and found PLF, they returned my phone call within a couple of hours. They came out to give estimate and I was scheduled within a year. During that time my dad went into hospice so we delayed the repairs another year. The guys just finished up and I could not be more impressed with this company and the people who work for them. They treated my mom (and her cow dog Aprille) so kind. Eric and his crew did amazing work, I can't believe how good it looks. We just had the rot replaced and they color matched the new logs to the old existing logs perfectly. They even honored the old price from 2yrs ago. Such a well ran and organized company. They totally went above and beyond and I'm so touched by the compassion and kindness Eric and his crew gave my elderly mom especially now that she is living alone on the farm after 63 years of marriage. I think even her dog Aprille was sad to see them leave. Well worth the price and I will be calling on them for annual maintenance so the family homestead will stay free of rot for many many years.

WOW! It is so difficult to find honest contractors in Florida, really anywhere for a matter of fact. I never owned a log home and when I bought mine it needed extensive “rot repair”. Log homes are not all the same. Logs have “profiles”. These people know what they are doing. They look at your issues, listen to what you think you need and then explain exactly what your problem is but more importantly how to prevent it from happening again. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, timeliness, honesty, attention to detail. I felt like the guys that worked on my house loved it just as much as I do. Highly recommend them.
