The time had come to paint the interior of 3 rooms, and our hallway. My wife was adamant that we hire professional painters. After scoping out the amount of work, and time I would have to do to complete the task, I broke down, and agreed with her. We found Parlett Painting's website and found they were a local family business, so I gave them a call. I spoke with John, who said he'd be to our house the same day. John was polite, and very knowledgeable. He gave us a great estimate and stated we could begin work the next day, we couldn't resist, and requested they do our project. John's team arrived the following day, on time, and with enough painters to get the job done. All his team was professional, respectful of our property, and finished the job with excellent quality and precision. They repaired cracks and drywall flaws, and replaced a burnt out ceiling light...who does that?!..Parlett Painting does, that's who. If you want good quality painting, call Parlett. They were the answer to my wife's prayers, perhaps they will be yours as well.

We contacted Parlett Painting to remove the textured ceiling that was put up MANY years ago. The only negative I can say, is that we DID NOT call sooner.
We called John early Thursday morning and he was there within 30 minutes and gave us a quote. We scheduled the team to start the following Monday and they finished Tuesday afternoon.
John and his team were on time and very professional.
The celing looks amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
I can't wait to get the exterior done.

John Parlett was a god send. I just had the.entire house painted inside, outside, basement, garage and breezeway. He and his marvelous team were punctual, hardworking and very creative. They were amazing.

I saw someone else's review asking if they can give Parlett Painting more than 5 stars. Yes, how do I do that!?! I would give them 10! John and his team were absolutely superb. My husband and I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years, and John and his team were communicative, professional, hard working and best of all, excellent at their craft. Probably the best contractor I've ever worked with. His team painted the entire interior of our home, top to bottom, bathroom to bedroom and all of our kitchen cabinets. Not only have they made our home look brand new, but it was an absolutely pleasure seeing them work. They were very respectful to our home and treated it like their own.

John was incredibly responsive and patient with me as a first time home color chooser. He was thorough and checked in every day, making sure the crew was addressing additional needs. They arrived when they said they would and took the estimated amount of time, which was very efficient and fast. When there were some left over concerns, he was responsive and they were addressed the next day. The house looks like a completely different home, amazing. I should have asked for the decks to be sanded first but that is my fault. I would recommend deck sanding before painting (especially if you have dogs or heavy traffic). I would recommend John to others for house painting.

I cannot say enough about how happy we are with the work done by Parlett’s Painting. From the moment we got our quote to the moment they pulled out of the driveway was nothing but easy, and our house looks brand new in only a matter of a couple days.

Parlett's Painting did a wonderful job refreshing the interior and exterior my Grandmother's home!

All of the walls were repaired and painted, along with all interior doors. They even touched up the kitchen cabinetry and exhaust hood over the stove!

The most amazing improvements were made to the garage, thanks to owner John Parlett's vision! The gray he selected for the front/side doors and shutters really help tie it all together! The power washing of the home's exterior greatly improved the overall look, too!

Parlett Painting strives for perfection. Prior to painting, they lay down protective paper on the floors. If the drywall needs repair, they make it as perfect as possible. The attention to detail displayed during painting is second to none. QA is carried out by all members of the team. Clean-up was exceptional as well. Highly recommend!

The team of Parlett’s was great to work with. I hear people say the contractor/painter never called them back or show up. That was not the case with Parlett’s. They even came back to do a touch up that I caused. I will use them again for other projects.

Once I decided to paint the brick on my home, I contacted John and he came by the next day to look at the house and give me a quote. He had some great ideas and seemed to really care about improving the look of my home. There were a few delays getting started mostly due to the weather but once they started, the job went quick, they cleaned up everything and left me with very satisfied with what looks like a totally different house. I was immediately impressed when John made appointment to come look at the house at 2:30 and text when he was 10 minutes out.
