Papio Roofing

I received a recommendation to use Papio Roofing for a project I wanted to complete, and I ended up using a majority of their services after a tough spring storm. Jeremy and Blake worked along with myself and the insurance companies to ensure the best products and procedures were used to rectify the damages done. Upon completion they answered any questions I had and were prompt to follow up with me. I would recommend them in the future and use the companies many services again.

I could not be more pleased with the work that was done on my sunroom roof. The damage was done due to the storm and wind damage in December. Blake and Jeremy worked with me on my insurance claim to make sure I received the funds needed to repair our sunroom roof properly.
I am not an easy person to please but Jeremy and Blake were always very responsive to my questions and concerns . I like that they always kept in the loop.
I would highly recommend them .

I realize I am writing this review 1 1/2 years too late, but it still needs to be written since now I have another expense of having bat removal from my house that Papio Roofing put the roof on! Jeremy and Don Shandera (contractor) did a second story remodel/addition to my home. The quality of work is very poor, but at the time I was so grateful for anyone to show up that I just accepted whatever I got. Aesthetically it looks great, but if you really take a look at it, the workmanship is awful! Jeremy would not return my calls and finally was told to not come on my property. Our project ended their partnership and we were left wondering if our $75K project would ever be completed.
Now we have discovered we have bats in our soffits, when you look at the pictures you can see the terrible job that was done by Papio Roofing putting on our new roof, you can actually see the wood were it isn't covered by shingles. Do not use this company! Terrible!!!!

I was really hoping I could give Papio Roofing a good review on a recent deck expansion and deck roof install that they did for me in May this year (2020). Unfortunately that is not the case, a very long story made short, I was assured that although their quote was much higher than others I’d gotten, I was assured that I was now dealing with “professionals” and that would make all the difference in the project going smoothly.
The project did go smoothly and I was happy with the work they did until the very end. The new deck roof that was joisted into my existing house roof, when the gutters were cut where the roof joined into the house roof, they forgot to cap them. (I totally understand forgetting something, but rain was in the forecast for the next several days). It started raining several hours after they left and water was pouring down about 6 inches from my recessed basement window where the caps were missing on the gutters.
I immediately alerted the owner and sent a video telling him we needed to fix ASAP as this could cause major issues in my basement if not fixed. He said he would get on it ASAP. The next day was a sunny day all day. No one showed. I was told he was going to contact one of the team but then nothing. Then the rains started again. I ended up going out every few hours for the next 2 days and empting a bucket that I set there to keep the water from running down into my window regress. When I wrote to them again, I was told they could do nothing about it as long as it was raining. They had a full day of no rain the day after they “completed” the job but no one came so I ended up empting buckets of water for the next several days.
The other issue that arose after completion was that my sprinkler system suddenly did not work. I had a sprinkler repair person come look at it and it was discovered that in the process of installing the deck footers they hit my main sprinkler hose line at all three footer locations as well as the wiring which cut power to the main sprinkler control unit. (I understand that they cannot know where those sprinkler lines are, but I was never made aware of the fact that this happened at ALL and the sprinkler repair person told me there was no way they did not know that the lines were hit, it is a large thick black plastic pipe that runs the water to the sprinkler heads.) IF they had simply told me they did this and marked the spots where the line was hit, it would have saved me over 3 hours worth of labor costs in figuring out and then locating the problem. I paid Papio Roofing a great deal of money for PROFESSIONAL service. I do not consider burying a mistake in cement footers and not telling me about it, professional.
I did let Papio Roofing know of this additional expense to repair the sprinkler system and asked if they would at least reimburse me half the cost to cover some of the labor that would not have been necessary had they just let me know of this incident when it happened. I was told they would do this but it never happened and all future emails were ignored.
Just my experience. For the price they charge, I think you can probably do better.

This was my first experience going through insurance for a claim to change the roof! Eric was incredibly helpful and accountable , he helped walk me through step by step what to do , identified extra issues that the insurance didn’t find and he personally followed up with to get it added to the claim and approved

The crew was fast and efficient we didn’t even feel them !

This whole process was simple and easy .. plus our new roof is amazing !!

This Company and individual (Jeremy) are the most unprofessional outfit we have EVER worked with. They made us feel a sense of security that our roofing, siding, and gutter needs would not only be handled in a respectful and timely matter, but correctly. This company sucks! Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere.

Papio roofing did a great job on our roof. We were very pleased with the service, and would recommend them. Gerard Zak was very knowledgeable and helpful to us through the whole process.

I would recommend Papio Roofing to anyone with roofing concerns. They are dependable and extremely trustworthy! I loved how quickly they got back to us and solved our issues with our roof in an efficient manner.
