Edgewood Hotel & Suites

Pool was nasty - water was cloudy and there was a giant clump of hair in the water. Room bathroom was very tight and small feeling, and the whole room had laminate or tile flooring, so the floor was cold and water from swimming got everywhere. Hallways need to be vacuumed more. Beds were okay but not super comfortable. Desk lady was very nice.

My father and I wanted to reserve a block of rooms for my wedding and it took almost 2 weeks for someone to even call us back about it. The headache has continued after my wedding as well, and we were charged for the rooms we tried to release when they told us to release them by and were charged for them all. Do everything in writing with this place so you have receipts do NOT do business over the phone with them. Terrible service from their desk workers every time we called.

Was driving by in snow, decided to stop. Ended up staying 2 nights. Nice clean rooms, fresh cookies, friendly staff.

Classico hotel di passaggio, le camere sono grandi con letti grandi e bagni microscopici. Per uscire dal bagno chiuso la procedura è:
1- esci dal bagno
2- una volta fuori apri la porta
3- aperta la porta torna dentro
4- girati verso l'uscita e esci
Ovviamente sto scherzando ( è impossibile uscire da un bagno senza finestre con la porta chiusa). Al posto della doccia c'è la vasca con tenda e, scomodità massima, manca il bidet, ma questo fuori dall'Italia è comune, purtroppo.
La colazione a buffet è relativamente varia, ma la cosa più stupenda è l'angolo waffle dove ci sono 2 gusti, classico e banana bread per una settimana e classico cinnamon roll quella successiva. Poi c'è la vetrina coi bagel e i muffins e il frigo coi succhi di frutta, latte e yogurt e infine l'angolo del salato che cambia ogni giorno.

medium priced, very nice room. clerk was not always at front desk. room was great except hardly any toilet paper on roll so had to get some at desk.|breakfast was great {I LOVE A GOOD BREAKFAST}} , typical continental plus waffles and hot eggs and sausage. yum very quiet and had elevator|would highly recommend stay here

The staff was amazing !!!! Delicious waffles for breakfast and a variety of fresh fruits with cereal ! will definitely stay here again we had a jacuzzi in our suite and it was so clean. Cookies were offered on day two by the front desk awesome for a late night snack after a long drive. Prices for convenience snacks and food were so reasonable that you didn’t have to leave the hotel. Thank you

One of the best places I've stayed in a long time. The people were super friendly the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was good. There's a grocery store in the same parking lot as the hotel. Truck parking as well will definitely be back.

A homey ,friendly and clean place to stay. The lady that manages the motel is great and always helpful. I love the great warm cookies that greet you in the evening. The only drawback is the small bathrooms with LOUD fans that are probably necessary.
The breakfast's are very good. The beds are comfortable.

Haven't had a chance to stay here myself yet but my friends always stay here. They also have no problem selling snacks at night it's been a small town places close at 11:00 but the bar at 2:00.

Hmm what to do what to do...edgewood it's a bad place to pick up a soda and a snack when u need it. Steph's always friendly and talkative all in all I can wait for an excuse to stay here

If you're in the area, the only other place is the Capri, but this is definitely worth the extra cash. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and the breakfast isn't bad either.

Great place to stay for the Nebraska game! Melinda was an excellent host! She gave us easy directions to get to the game and made delicious fresh choc chip cookies for customers . Also told us best places to eat. Awesome customer service and clean rooms!

The difference between a house and your home. Beds made daily and cookies made daily. Friendly but not annoying staff. Way more homing than most hotel's.

Decent breakfast .
Great bed and recliner.
We would stay again no doubt.

Teresa at the front desk couldn't be so bothered as to smile or greet us when we walked up to her. With a RBF, the 1st thing out of her mouth was "I'm going to need your credit cards." Seems like she could use some additional hospitality training. Hotel was very clean as was my room. For some reason the toilet in the room had no lid on it so there was no closing it before flushing which I thought was odd & gross. They also put a giant recliner right next to the bed which was also weird. Located in a small town with few food options. I'm not familiar with the area but maybe it's a good in between location to other places. We all had different carriers and all had poor cellular reception.

Unexpected surprise was the continental breakfast. Clean and Friendly. Will stay there again if ever we go back to Fairbury NE.

We were very pleased with the Edgewood during a two-night stay, when members of our family had two rooms there. The rooms are large, well furnished, and very clean. One of them even had a whirlpool tub, which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. Breakfast is included. The selection, though not large, was sufficient to have quite good breakfasts. All in all, the Edgewood offers very good value for a reasonable price.

OK let's start with the bathroom, it's was SO SMALL that I had to stand BEHIND the toilet just to get the door open when I was done, not to mention the horrible sound coming from the pipes so I only had half water pressure. Beds were OK, tv reception whas shotty at best and the complimentary breakfast? Tasted like somebody put out yesterday's sausage ad egg biscuit, no kind of any juice available VERY minimal selection of anything but the Waffle wast bad. Will NOT stay here again if given the choice

Great place to stay. The management are both helpful and courteous.

Please don't let kids run down the hall ways and especially at night time.

Great place off the beaten path! Front desk staff was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with! Would definitely stay here again!

The workers r nice and helpful and the rooms r clean and the swimming pool is clean and they don't have a hot tub.

We were in this rural area searching for ancestors. Wanted to stay near Fairbury but big chain lodging is not an option. This is a very nice property, reminded me of a Fairfield. Very helpful staff. We had a HUGE room, Whirlpool King Suite is like two rooms with a large whirlpool in the room. Bathroom has a separate sink away from the shower and john which makes it easier for two to get ready. Hotel is very quiet. Limited breakfast but adequate. Would stay here again.

Not great, but not terrible. Some pet hair left in and around the tub, half eaten salad in the fridge. Comfy bed and recliner, and the jacuzzi tub in the BEDROOM kicked butt! Some small maintenance would help greatly. Not to mention a HOT breakfast! With a waffle station!

Quiet, cool, clean rooms, helpful staff, friendly people, great breakfast lots of selections. Got us a big room and in fast.... Thank you so much!!!!

This place was amazing! A special shout out to Melinda, Sami, Jessica, and Jan. They went over and beyond to help us while we stayed here. We stayed here almost a week while we waited for a ramp to be built at our home. They made sure we were comfortable, well stocked, and even helped me load my husband's wheelchair when I had trouble with it. The rooms are very clean, and like I said amazing staff!! Definitely recommend!!

One thing when booking a room, ask if the pool is available, main reason we stay at Edgewood. Was not told when we booked. Very important when traveling with Grandkids!
