Every time I have been here they are very unorganized. Employees just mope around and take their sweet time. And they serve people out of order. There was only one customer when I pulled up and by the time I left they served four people before me that obviously came in after I did.

I've called multipul times looking for a quote or a specific steel. Each time the salesman was rude and sounded burdened to be so much as dealing with me! Then I see the rude reply on here regarding a customer that had a bad experience so they replied with a snoody comment. What a way to treat customers

Awful service. Everyone is moving in slow motion, they don’t mind wasting your time. Even simple, small orders take hours to fill. The only reason I’m forced to shop here is when I’m in a pinch and can’t make it to SLC. But with all the time wasted here, I would’ve been better off making the drive to salt lake. Prices are also higher than others. $15 for one cut is crazy.

Longest unload ever..... over 2 hours to unload one step deck trailer. Anywhere else would have taken about 30 minutes total. Every bundle gets unloaded individually, and 10-20 minutes later, they come for the next. At this rate, this place is paying their own staff to.... i dont know, text, tweet, facebook, tictok, instagram???? Ridiculous....

I love to weld and fab things from metal and I've purchased thousands of dollars of steel products from here and Metalmart has significantly deteriorated over the years. They have become extremely slow to fill orders and way overpriced. They have a monopoly on local steel products and they act like it with their pricing and service. I was there over an hour to get two lengths of steel tube! Then they wouldn't let me quickly cut it right at my truck so it would fit since I wasn't going to pay $16 more for two cuts on each piece that took me literally 20 seconds per cut. They made me walk the 24 foot steel tube out to the sidewalk to make my four cuts. "For liability reasons." what a joke.

Ordered custom cut metal roofing. They were all supposed to be the same length. Every other piece was 3 1/4" shorter than it was supposed to be. Decided to change the framing to make it work so I didn't have to go through the hassle of ordering through metal mart again, and having to wait days after they told me it was ready only to sit at there store waiting for them to get my already "ready" order assembled

If you're in to fabricating this is the place for metal stock.

If you go to pick up a large amount of steel make sure you give yourself a few hours the are insanely slow I have been waiting over an hour and a half to get just a small part of my order it has been 2 hours now and nothing.

I called in to place an order, I was on hold for awhile, then they told me that they would call me back. After 2 hours of waiting I just drove there to purchase in person. The Purchase took 5 minute, I have no idea why it they couldn’t call back in 2 hours.
It then took over an hour for them to make a single cut on a sheet of 1/16 inch aluminum because they had to wait for their supervisors who were discussing a different order.

They have a wide range of metal materials and welding supplies and tools, all of which are at good prices. They'll also cut the materials however you need it.

Ran in at closing time and they were great to assist with my last minute items I needed for the next day. They didn’t have exactly what I needed but were able to provide a work around to get my project completed the next day. Thanks team!!!

I go here when looking for a metal plate for any project. They have any size and thickness carbon steel I need.

I'm between a 3-4 stars, desk is great and easy to deal with. Actually getting your material is kinda where I have a problem. Normally your asked to wait at their will call door and ring for service. But if you have a few impatient people just walk around in essence skipping you in line they get helped first. Seems like a free for all, no real order. Most of the people fulfilling orders are nice, some exceptions.

My experience with Metal mart is always great! I never feel pressured to buy. They have great pricing and great quality materials! Mark is an incredible sale rep and he’s always so helpful!

First time I've been here since moving to Utah. There remnants were right outside with an attendant there to weigh it and you could pay right there. Compared to IMS in Phoenix their selection of other related items located indoors was lacking but they had what I needed to do a couple of projects I had for our new house.

Placed an order today and got there right before closing to pick it up. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong items. Mark was my sales rep. He was patient and helpful, and stayed after hours to make sure I got what I needed. Really appreciate his help.

Really top customer service. Really appreciated their patience with me as I figured out how to get all the stuff I bought loaded. Everybody was kind and super helpful. Will be back!

They are super helpful and the prices are great! If you need mild or structural steel, there is no better place to go.
They also have an assortment of welding supplies and tools.
The off-cuts section is the best to get steel if you want smaller sizes. This is my favorite metal place.

Let me cut my own metal. With my grinder lol. Sometimes cheaper than alternatives. Have a discount bin of random metal...

Great Utah Valley resource! Mark was very helpful and patient. If you can haul 20ft pieces, do that. They'll only buy back uncut pieces (75% of purchase price is what their policy says).

I walked in a little bit lost on a project, but the Metal Mart team rallied to get me all set up and dialed. I was super imnopressed!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I was wanting to add an addition to a prefabricated shop. I didn't even know where to start. I went in and spoke to their counter sales and they were able to telle exactly what I needed.

I never leave bad reviews but wow this was the worst customer service experience. When we went to pick up an order that was paid for over 5 weeks ago, after driving 40 minutes one way to get it because we were told it was there, they actually still didn’t have it in. The sales guy was so rude and had the worst attitude. He acted so put out to do his job. I’d prefer to drive out to Salt Lake, which is way farther for me, and use any other metal company than ever order from this company again.

Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and they keep this place very clean, considering it’s a metal shop. Their remnants section saved me a fortune on metal. I will definitely be back!

I put in a Large order with MetalMart…. A young man named Bailey helped me … He was a excellent rep… He did such a good job… It is so nice to deal with somebody who is so proficient at his job… Very intelligent in the way he put it together… I had a great experience getting my stuff ordered with him...
I could tell he knew what he was doing and was good at his job… I am confident my order was put in correctly and that I'm getting what I need.....with him there I would be happy to come back and order through them again..
I was also in contact with someone via Internet chat from the website… They were quick to respond and very helpful…

Called in about getting some product they said they had. Drove up there (about 30 miles) the next day and they said they were out of stock. Called several more times over the next month, they said they were still out of stock. Finally decided to buy the more expensive product that they had in stock each time I called. Drove up there (about 30 miles) to pick it up and they said it was out of stock. I was obviously a bit frustrated at this point so he said he would check the Logan location to see what they had. Ended up the Logan location had lots of the original stuff I wanted, so I ordered and paid for that, they said it would need to come down on the truck and gave me a timeline. I even added an extra day to the original time they gave me because of a Holiday weekend, they still don't have it.... Almost drove up again to pick it based on the dates they told me, glad I called (The receptionist told me they don't know when they will be getting my order in and that they will call me when its it). These guys are terrible at communication, though in person they were nice and friendly. I recommend using a different metal shop or set your bar really low on communication. All it would have taken is to keep me in the loop on what might be going on to cause delays.... or offer to "contact Logan store" the first time I called in instead of me wasting fuel on multiple trips.

Worst customer service I've recieved in quite a while. I've spent hours on the phone, recieved several different prices for the same thing, been snapped at by employees, ordered something that should have been ready hours previouse to pick up. Arrived and still spent over an hour waiting for them to find my order. So frustrated and never want to go back, such a terrible experience.

Great place with all types of steel. Some forms of aluminum. They have a large scrap bin sold by weight. However, the cost was essentially the same as that in the warehouse.

I have bought metal here for several years now and with continue for many more. This place has always had the material in stock and I could usually pick it up same day.

They're awesome! They went me to the remnants shop next door and I got everything I need to make my metal guitar for a good price!

Good prices, knowledgeable sales staff. Sometimes load out can be a little bit lengthy but very courteous and professional overall great experience.

Great service from the office and amazing service from Ian out in the shop! Ian had my load halfway loaded when I decided I wanted to change what I was getting. If I had been loading my I would have had a glum look or even given myself a small eye roll but Ian had a huge smile and a great attitude even though I was asking him to do more work. That experience totally made my whole day. I will defiantly go there again.

Saw that this place has been getting some bad reviews and I noticed every time I'm there I see rude and impatient customers. They have unreasonable expectations for being served and can't wait 5 minutes for their metal to be brought out from the back.

My experience has always been very positive. Helpful hardworking staff doing their best to meet demanding customers. Clean, well stocked and well organized, from the ample supply of discounted remnants out front to the retail space inside with rows of counter assistants waiting to take your order and metal type and sizing boards on the wall so you can't go wrong with your metalworking needs.

These guys do it right, which helps you do it right, the first time, every time. Even the orderly parking lot entry and exit is well thought out to get you in and out as efficiently as possible. For my money, Metalmart is worth it's metal.
