We had some delaminated wood on the underside roof deck and some lifting ridge vents show up on a home inspection report on one of my listings. The areas needed to be corrected before the buyer could place their insurance for the purchase and proceed with settlement. I found Ortiz Roofing great to work with because: Their quote was a fair price and they used quality products; The work was done correctly and in a very timely manner with a generous Limited Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty; It passed the city's midpoint and final inspections the 1st time around; The site supervisor, Josh, was excellent at keeping me updated on the job status at all times; And Tamara in the front office was very good and responsive in providing the permit final approved documents (which had to be tracked down as Flagler Beach doesn't have an online portal for that) and proof of final payment received. Had this not all come together smoothly and settle on time/delayed the closing, the first time home buyer would have lost her lower interest rate lock. Their correct and timely handling of this entire job allowed the buyer to purchase with peace of mind, get her insurance placed and the settlement to occur on time! Based on my experience (and I deal with alot of contractors) I will use them again and highly recommend them! Thank you!

Josh came to ck my roof - for cause of leaks- Found the problem- corrected issue- when it's time for new roof- will definitely call them

I dealt with Josh for my new roof, he is very knowledgeable and straightforward with the quote and any questions I had, they gave me a tentative start date, which was dead on and the crew did a wonderful job, picked up their mess, contacted me with any and all issues with some roof damage, Jesse, their lead man was very knowledgeable and explained all the issues and how they were going to address them, I’ve done roofing for over 40 years and these guys did exactly what their suppose to do and they did it right, I’m 60 years old and if I ever need another roof done Ortiz Building Contractor is who I’ll call, also the add on price for the unforeseen issues was what I consider a bargain

He never called me back. I had called to get a roof extimate. No one answered, but, I had left a detailed message asking him to call me so I could arrange to get an estimate.
Of course, I will not recomment anyone that will not even return a phone call!

I am so thankful that we found Ortiz Roofing! After the hurricane we have had a terrible time finding any reputable contractor to do anything! Even the local companies never returned our calls or provided a quote as promised and left us with a leaking roof and siding because there are bigger job$ out there. Because we didn't have a big insurance claim they couldn't find time to help us. They don't seem to realize that we live here and will remember this when we do have a big job. Ortiz Roofing has done roofs on two houses for me. The first was on a house I was selling. I needed it done fast and they got everything done in a couple of days. The roof came out beautiful (even the building inspector was impressed). The second house was complicated because there were some unexpected findings. There were 2 layers of shingles, days of rain, and lots of rotted plywood that needed replacing. Through it all, Jose Ortiz kept his cool, kept me informed, and completed another beautiful roof.
