The salesperson displayed remarkable expertise. The team that carried out the job was exceptional, embodying both efficiency and friendliness. Their quick response to an oversight, returning the next morning to rectify the error without hesitation, exemplified their exceptional service.

One call to Steve was all we needed…his team went to work within the week. We completely repositioned the kitchen to really open up the place. He added a sliding glass door that now opens to the porch that has a turned a 70’s ranch house to an open floor plan. In the process they even found (and corrected) leak in the roof that we were unaware. As a mortgage lender, my experience with ONE CALL was via our interaction during a Fannie Mae homestyle renovation project for a client. Usually builders and contractors drag their feet with all the paperwork and the pre-planning required. ONE CALL was just the opposite. They turned everything back over to us in record time. The attention to detail and the extra mile they went put us and our client in a much less stressful position. We knew this job was being planned with exceptional care. They made my job much easier.

I hired One Call to remodel a rental unit for me in Tuscaloosa. New floors, paint, light fixtures, and general repairs. They did an excellent job! Most important, I had a tight schedule. Two weeks between old tenants moving out and new tenants moving in. One Call finishing the project 2 days early!! I’ve hired many contractors in the past, none of them have ever finished on-time, One Call finished early!!! Highly recommend One Call.

This has been one of the best experiences with a contractor we have ever had. We had two large insurance claims in a year- a tree falling on our house and then lightning and a fire 1 year later, and they took care of everything from helping with insurance to insurance supplements to explaining everything along the way. Steve and Chris are always extremely professional and kept me in the loop, and Brandon took care of every little change we wanted to while the project was ongoing. After going through 2 $100k+ insurance claims in a year I wouldn’t use anyone else to get this type of work done.

Wow. Just finished a renovation project. I always read reviews before I select who to collect bids from. In the Birmingham area not many remodelers have many reviews. One call had the most of any. Over 100. To be honest I know if someone works on construction inside my home that I live in for 8 weeks that there will be some things that I could complain about. Yes scheduling was sometime changed, a top broke on installation that had to be reordered, a faucet was not functioning properly and had to be changed. What was impressive to me was when I called everything was handled timely. The finished product was on budget, and done beyond our satisfaction. For instance and existing wall that I wanted to add some cabinets myself had a bow in the wall. Very hard to see. I panicked because of the gap. One call had there custom trim man install a piece on each side and it looks better with it than if the wall would have been perfect and no trim to cover the gap. Price was fair, they do what they say, and the are very nice to deal with. Will use for my deck that's coming soon.

They did a great job on our master bathroom. Great workers, great communication, amazing work. We will do more work with One Call for sure.

I used one call to to do a bathroom remodel. Up front One Call was honest and explained the environment with supply chain issues and labor shortages. They were very clear about expectations and explained how Covid had effected the industry. This helps to understand because sometimes when things don't go exactly as planned I can get a little frustrated. With that said, they gave me a price and did Exactly what was in the work order. Bathroom looks great and for the price I expected. Very pleased. The funny thing is I ordered my own fixtures and when they came to install them I had to tell them they were back ordered and I was sorry. Lol I can't make that up.

Buyer beware. The good reviews may be fake.This company rushes to get your 50% deposit and then disappears without doing the work.After demo is done you are put on hold.
WARNING:if you ask for their subcontractors business license numbers or the professional license numbers they will quit on you immediately with no notice. Especially if you ask about the flooring crew.
Be sure to check your permit to find out who is listed it may not be the company actually performing the work in your home. Get a list of the subcontractors doing your work before you sign the contract and then check professional license when they show up otherwise you may not have the person you think you hired.. Five months later We are struggling to complete the project. Attempts to reach the company to get a refund are not successful . This is not the company to trust with your home.

After receiving quotes from several contracting firms, we decided to go with One Call for our kitchen remodel in late 2018. We reviewed all the details, met with our lead contractor (Chad), and we felt confident we had made the right choice. We had a wonderful experience with them throughout our project, and our project lead was communicative and helpful. In the spring of 2019, the remodel was complete. By the summer of 2019, we started to have problems with our kitchen floor. Grout was coming up in several spots, and our floor was popping and cracking underneath our feet. I messaged our project lead, and he came out and said that he would send a crew out to look into making repairs. After that, I never saw him again. I would text him asking when a crew was coming, and he would text back with nothing firm. This went on for months. The holidays arrived, we got busy, and honestly after that, I was just so sick and discouraged with the whole thing that I gave up even trying to get someone to come back to our home. Then we were in a pandemic. From the summer of 2019 to now, our grout failed, multiple tiles broke under our feet, and it was clear that nothing was prepped properly for tile. I emailed One Call during 2020 and never got a response. Not even an apology. I felt like we gave One Call multiple attempts to make this right, and they didn't.

We are currently working with a new contractor who is AMAZING. He tore out everything One Call installed, and he said from beginning to end, One Call failed miserably on our tile installation. Subflooring was not prepped, they used drywall screws to secure wood, cement board was not secured to the subfloor, the thinset was not applied appropriately, tile was not bonded, grout was not installed properly, etc. This is a very expensive fix, and it leaves me beyond angry that One Call left us with this mess. Use them with caution, and have someone on backup ready to fix their mistakes. I hate complaining. I loathe it, but this has been horrible.

I did a larger budget remodel with these guys based on all of the nice reviews. I don’t believe any of them are legitimate. Everything from start to finish was sloppy. Started 4 months late, couldn’t get contractors. Horrible oversight. I spent a large amount of my time being quality-control because of the constant mistakes. - windows installed with no flashing, roof done with no edge drip. And the trash, they left construction trash out for a month.

I found a few other unhappy customers through Facebook, one was working on a lawsuit, the other said they’d never use them again. Somehow these high number of reviews keep making it on here? No way. Rather than bumping a good reputation they’ve bought reviews to boost their online presence.

They have a call center to shield the owner from complaints. You can’t even get ahold of their guys for warranty work afterwords.

If you’re considering One Call for a remodel, don’t do it based on customer reviews on here. When they give you a quote and say “they’re ready to get you in production” that just means they want your deposit. It’ll be 5 months before they start.

For example the was a new construction home being built next to me, they broke ground the week I signed the contract with One Call. My covered porch was finished two months after that new home was completed.

If a company has to tell people about their “contractor integrity” it means they have none. Look elsewhere.

Giving this to the website only. It needs some work to get it working right. Trying to fill the form for them to contact you it never worked for me since it never accepted the validation code. Only the one that popped up when you first get to the site is the one that works but that's because it doesn't have the code. They need to put new and more pictures of their work. A few pics are not enough to help you decide if they are the right company for your needs.

They did an excellent job on my hardwood flooring! Would recommend them and will be using them on any other home improvement projects I have.

I cannot say enough good thing about this company! Chris did the initial review of my home from tornado damage and worked relentlessly with the Insurance company to ensure was restored to its original form prior to the storm. Carter with the scheduling was an absolute joy to work with and keep me in the loop daily on the progress of my home and status of the job completion. Jonathan, the painter, did an incredible job and the home looks amazing thanks to his detailed work. An amazing company and a joy to work with, the customer service has been like none other and highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their home!

Scott Willis was our project manager and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. He was responsive, understanding, honest, and a man of his word. His crews did an amazing job and they didn’t stop until we were completely satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had one of the contractors ( Steve?) come to my house to give me a quote on a patio extension on a Friday. Upon leaving he told me he would get me a quote by Monday. After not hearing from him, I called a week later and was told he would give me a call. Another week went by and I called a couple times.. each time being placed on hold, told they had just spoken with him and that he would call me right back, and each time never hearing anything. The people at the call center would apologize and explain that they don’t actually work at that company and had no other numbers I could call. So now it’s been a month and I’ve still never received a call back or a quote. I guess I wouldn’t want to hire someone whose responsiveness is that poor anyway.

I contacted OneCall for an estimate to remove a covered, screened-in porch and to add a 14 x 16 den that opened up to a patio. I chose OneCall because of their experience and reputation in roofing. Everyone else I spoke to seemed hesitant about adding on to my existing roof. OneCall did an amazing job, even through our spring rains & tornadoes! Scott Willis was my project manager , and I could not have asked for a more responsive, customer focused individual. He is honest, fair, and very knowledgeable. He has great relationships with his team members and that is always a plus. I highly recommend OneCall for your remodeling projects.

I called One Call Remodel on 5/7/21 @ 2:46pm and spoke with Tray about getting my kitchen remodeled. He asked for my address and said that he would have to transfer me to Kendall to set an appointment for someone to come out to my home for the estimate. He came back and said that Kendall was on another call and she would give me a call back to set the appointment. Needless to say, I never received a call back. No worries, my money is as green as the next persons and I will be glad to take my business elsewhere.

On time, good quality work. These guys were super friendly and on point. They replaced our roof as well and it only took one full day and they left my yard so clean. I would definitely use these guys again.

Joe came to my home and Chad came to my home twice and still never received estimate. Spoke with Kendyl she stated didn't see estimate and would have someone follow up with me. After multiple visits to home and request for estimate via phone and email I still never received estimate.

One Call met with my insurance adjuster after the recent hurricane when I was unable to. They worked with the adjuster & the mitigation people to insure that my beach home would be restored properly. They promptly put together a production schedule for my review so that I would be able to monitor their progress.. I have been extremely pleased with their services.

One Call just completed wood repair, painting, installation of stone on the front of my house, and the addition of a composite deck on the back. I don’t have enough words to say how extremely pleased I have been with the quality of their work, but especially with their excellent customer service. They were accessible and involved and their top priority was customer satisfaction. Wow! Best contractors I’ve ever worked with! We had a very unique situation with our home needing repairs in a specific time frame, so Steve and his team came out not once, but TWO separate times to make sure everything was addressed to the right specs. The repairs were completed quickly and correctly and they showed extra care by expediting our necessary paper work on time as well. Very thankful for Steve and his team! I’d recommend them to everyone!

We were initially nervous about hiring someone to take on several projects at once. We spoke with several companies. We really liked what we saw from One Call’s photos, but were very impressed with their suggestions during our consultation. Before hiring them, we asked for references and they quickly provided several. Each person I spoke with was extremely satisfied with their remodel or addition. One Call Remodel gutted and remodeled our kitchen and master bath - including a 10 foot addition to our house with 2 custom walk in closets. They also remodeled a small bathroom and replaced flooring in our downstairs den (they can do it all - big or small). It all turned out gorgeous, and we are more then pleased! Scott was our contractor, and he was great! He was on top of everything, and when we had issues (all remodeling projects do), he would address and fix them quickly! He and his crew were professional, easy to work with, and gave us amazing results at a very fair price! I plan to use them for all of my home improvement and repair needs!

We used One Call to remodel our home this summer- They opened up our floor plan, installed hardwoods throughout and re-did our kitchen. We absolutely love our new space!!! We used One Call Remodel to tear down our old deck and build us a new one. We added a pergola and a dog ramp and we are beyond thrilled with the excellence they built with. Joe even helped us design the ramp in a way that would work best for our dogs and our deck set up.

I now spend most of my afternoons outside on our deck. We also had them fix some rot on our chimney and we could be happier with their work. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

I received my estimate within 4 or 5 days and I accepted. The price was in line with what I expected and was done quickly. I was able to do a lot of little things with only dealing with one company. We recently had a water leak from our water heater so we called one call to repair the damage. We enjoyed the experience so much we got a quote on finishing out our basement. Over the past 6 months we got 2 other quotes from other companies and one call had the best price. Highly recommend!

When a recent storm came through with heavy rain and winds, a portion of the soffit on my house came loose and fell with gutter attached. I had a friend recommend One Call for the repair. They were quick to come out and give me an estimate to fix it. When they came the next day to do the repair, it was done quickly and there was no sign that it had been a repair job. They cleaned up all of the debris that had fallen from the storm as well as the materials used to do the repair. The price was fair and everyone I dealt with, whether on the phone or in person, was very nice and professional.

One Call gives you helpful advise on home projects as well as free estimates. They really helped me on my remodeling needs through the entire process. From price to professionalism, these guys were the real deal.

Joseph came out and gave us an estimate on some roof repairs we needed. It was a nice change of pace to have someone show up when they said they would and return your phone calls. These guys are very professional I highly recommend them. I wish we had talked to them the first time.

Let me preface this review with the following: we did not have any work done at our home by this company. I put my information in on their website and received a call the same day. The lady on the telephone was friendly and happy to help me each time I called her. The guy who came to our house was friendly and my husband had no complaints.

HOWEVER- we were given an OUTRAGEOUS quote for a very small back porch project. We have a 7 feet tall by 10 feet long space we wanted screened in and this company quoted us $3,777. It seemed a little steep to me but then again, I know nothing about construction work on homes.

So we had THREE more people come to our home, look at the space and give us estimates. ALL of them felt that the company had given us an outrageous quote and couldn't figure out why. Either because they wanted to overcharge for a project they didn't think was worth their time or they wanted to discourage us from using them (for the same reason as above, too small to be worth their time) by giving us a crazy price quote.

From the pictures I've seen, their work looks nice, which is exactly why we called them. All of the other contractors we spoke to (who saw the space at our home) quoted us $2000 or $2500. None of them could figure out why on Earth the company felt that $3,777 was a justifiable price. Word to the wise: get several quotes when dealing with this company!

Chad and his team did a great job on my kitchen remodel. They took out a wall to open up my kitchen until the den. Using them again for a covered patio...highly recommend!

One call replaced and painted several dormer trim pieces on those Windows.
They also replaced and painted a section of baseboard in one room. The work was done on time and at a reasonable price.
They came when they said they would.

One Call came out and looked at my roof that had a leak in it. They were able to give me great advise and also able to fix the issue in a timely manner. They did a great job and the service was great!

I've had many experiences with contractors over the years. Several quoted me one thing and charged me another price, some left the jobs unfinished and cost me a lot of money to finish their work, and some blamed it on me that their work was not up to par. I've really never had a good experience with with an extensive project. That changed this fall. I needed a complete home renovation. I researched for hours many local contractors. One call had the best reviews bar none. They quoted me a price and stuck to it. Wow. A basic concept they understand. The only overages were things I decided to spend more money on such as special high end cabinetry. The work was professional. The sand and finish hard woods are the best looking floors I've ever seen. They finished on time, and on budget. I wish I would have known of them years ago. I will never use anyone else for work around my home. Nice job and a breath of fresh air.

I had several people I contacted for my chimney and siding repair. The siding was rotted in spots. Not a big deal but the chimney was really really high and difficult to get to with the steep roof pitch. Two other companies had looked at it and failed to get back with me. I called One Call and ask if this job was to small. When I explained my situation they agreed to come look at it. They gave me a reasonable price and emphasized the importance of safety. I was impressed with the details of their safety plan to do this in way to minimize the risk of someone falling and getting hurt. They used scaffolds, tied off, and worked late to beat the rains. I couldn't be more impressed with the overall finished product and attention to detail. HIGHLY recommend these guys.

I used one call for a roof replacement. While they were doing the roof they noticed some windows that were rotting. They got me a quote the next day, provided me with financing, and had them installed in two weeks. Very good price and the work was great. We are now talking with them about a kitchen remodel. One Call Remodel is great with an awesome staff. Since they've replaced my roof a couple of years back I now call them for anything that relates to home repairs. They are dependable, trustworthy and easy to reach! My heat went out a couple of days ago due to a leak. I called Steve that morning and within an hour a gentle was at my home to not only access the issue but to fix it on a Saturday! I was beyond grateful as it the temperatures were due to drop! I will always use them for my home repairs and I would highly recommend them to anyone any day!

One Call has performed as a sub contractor for my company on multiple projects. Their attention to detail and customer service are a breath of fresh air in the construction industry. We will continue to use them any chance we get.

My wife and I have just completed a full house renovation of our home using One Call Remodel in Pelham, AL. Our initial contact was with Chris who came out to the house and listened to us as we detailed what our renovation plans were. He provided a great estimate and Scope of Work within a short period of time. They were patient with us during the process of the selling of our home in order to renovate the home that belonged to my wife's parents. Upon the sale of the home they quickly worked to get the renovations started. Al Wilson was assigned to our project as the Supervisor handling everything. Al worked with us, explained any issues we encountered and saw that the smallest of details were taken care of. Our project involved removing load bearing walls, a wall to wall moss rock wood burning fireplace, new attic insulation, new heating and ac units, entire rewiring of the home, new flooring throughout, totally new kitchen and appliances, two enlarged bathrooms, removal of popcorn ceilings, paneling, wall and attic insulation, new interior doors, new window trim and baseboards and replacing all of the old flooring with new tile and Bamboo flooring. We all but have a brand new home we will enjoy for many years to come. We could not be more satisfied with One Call, their Mgmt Team and everyone of their crew who all aided in giving us a beautiful home and a great renovation experience. We recommend them highly to anyone for any project they may be contemplating.

We have hired One Call for several jobs done at different times...Roof replacement. Exterior paint, exterior door jamb rot repair, and siding repair. Bathroom wallpaper removal and paint, vent installation, and tile repair. Most recently gutter replacement with guards. Jobs were all finished on time and most were for finished early! Excellent work, quality materials, and excellent pricing! Professional, knowledgeable and courteous people! I highly recommend One Call Remodeling!
