On Time Professionals

VERY EXPENSIVE. $145 to hang one light fixture. That was after applying the valpack 'free service call' coupon. No new wiring or cutting just simply change out a fixture in the kitchen. Less than an hour. They do give you a quote up front. Professional and answered all my questions. Also, cleaned up after himself.

In my 77 years I've needed may service technicians. Several were excellent, many were ok, & a few left me with recurring nightmares. Jerry was by far the best service tech I've ever had experience with. He was kind & pleasant, & extremely competent. He gave me a detailed quote . It was very reasonable for the amount of work he did. It was the best value for my money in a long time. 5 stars for sure.

Pricey. Get a quote up front before you have them out so you're not sticker shocked like me. That said, the gentleman was very professional and solved my problem. Never treated me like an idiot, and answered all my questions. Was honest about pricing too - I just wish I'd inquired before he got there.

Service was excellent! Jerry is a stupendous contractor and a breath of fresh air after having worked with several less than stellar examples over the past couple years. He quickly fixed an issue with a GFCI outlet that had an entire circuit out of commission. I also had a new subpanel installed and several new lines run to various locations in the house. The whole process was painless from the customer perspective and Jerry was pleasant and very knowledgeable. On Time Professionals has my business for any electrical work going forward!

If you’re looking to get electrical work done, you don’t need to look any further. Jerry did an amazing job installing multiple outlets including a new exterior outlet. The prices were fair and the quality of work was excellent. If I need additional electrical work done in the future I will be calling On Time Professionals again. 10/10

I scheduled an appointment with them, and they were to be at my place from 11-2 on a Friday. They called me at 1:40 and said they weren’t able to make it. This left me in a huge bind because we are selling our house, no longer live there. Took the day off of work to be present for the time slot they provided and our old house is an hour away….all they could say was it was a scheduling conflict & they were sorry. I ended up finding another company to come out last minute as otherwise this would have been a complete wasted trip & lost wages for the day - all for nothing. The company name does not fit, should be “Flaky Electric” instead of “On Time Professionals”- which clearly they don’t represent that name well.

Customer service was excellent and super easy and fast getting a quick same day appointment. Jerry was awesome, found our problem and fixed the issue quick and installed our new closet light! Fantastic experience and will definitely recommend!

Scheduled an appointment to have my older pushmatic breaker looked at. Keith Bark came to my house and he was awesome. Walked me through quite a few things and gave really good recommendations on things around my house. I like to do quite a bit of work myself and his opinions are really well valued. Any projects I will ever need for my rental properties, he will be the first electrician I call.

Love working with these guys. Won’t do business with anyone else! Jerry has been extremely thorough and explains everything so we know what’s going on.

Jerry solved a mystery for me regarding a dead outlet. He is a great guy and I will look to them if I ever have electrical issues again.

The tech came in and was very courteous. They were fixing an issue another company left behind. Very easy to work with, socialable knowledgeable, and efficient.

I had GFI and shocking by switches issues. I was told that shocking is because of humidity at the walls. The outlets is not putting out the adequate power (which I figured) it still sits as an issue. By the way I paid 800 bucks for these. Is it fair?

Jerry was very professional and personable. My house was built in the mid 1960s. He explained what my options were for updating the electrical. We agreed on updating the GIFs, but he included me in the decision. He did not tell me what I had to do and charge me a huge dollar amount. I had a hallway light that I had found a burnt wire on. He replaced the hallway lights with fixtures I purchased and did my outside lights, also.
Jerry and everyone at On Time Professionals were very customer oriented and as helpful as could be! I will definitely use them again and give them very high recommendations.

I called in Thursday 12/17/20 to see if they would come and replace a GFCI outlet that was old and it quit working.

They offered to come out Friday 12/18/20 and replace it for me. They gave me a time the would be out. They called and they finished early at the job before me and asked if they could come early, of course I said yes.

Let me say it is hard to find a good electrician that will your work for you big or small.

I had previously called another company in Pleasant Hill Iowa, they said they would come out Tuesday the 15th. They didn't and rescheduled for Thursday the 17th, they called late Thursday and said they needed to reschedule for the next Wednesday 12/23 I said no cancel it, and called Keiths company.

I am so glad I did. The work was quick, reasonably priced and Keith was friendly.

I don’t spend the time to write reviews but they deserve it. Everyone was GREAT start to finish. Lindsay was super helpful every single call, gets back to you right away and helps get things done fast - excellent customer service! Jerry is phenomenal, very friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t be better to work with. We used them to wire a new hot tub which required exterior conduit as our basement is finished. They did CLEAN work it all looks great. Had them trench down behind the hot tub connection and couldn’t be happier with the result. Got a few quotes and they came in the most reasonable and absolutely delivered. You really can’t go wrong with Jerry- explains things well and knows what he is doing. Great people, great service, great results. USE THEM PEOPLE!!!!!

I'm selling my old house and am requested by buyer to check whether there are active knot n tube and repair. Asked two electric companies to check. One looked around and took photos, charged me $72 dollars and said there were knot n tube everywhere, and suggested to rewire the entire house, the estimate was $42000, that almost caused me an heart attack. The second company came and looked around and estimated $6000 or more because he was not sure actually how many knot n tube in the house. On Time was the third company that came. The electrician's name is Jerry. His first step was to shut OFF 2 existing live Knob-n-Tube circuits that he saw in the basement. He found the exact location of these lights, outlets and switches connected to these two circuits. He told me that instead of removing Knob-n-Tube, he suggested to abandon them and replace with new arc fault protected circuits. His estimate is $6783 which is very reasonable and can be done in 4 - 5 days. Jerry has 30 years experience, he is professional, polite and confident. I feel very grateful to meet an electrician like him.

Excellent service! On Time Professionals were able to fit me into their schedule same day after a different electrician had a cancel last minute. The On Time Pro wore shoe coverings, offered to wear a mask and completely the work quickly and even did more than was necessary to correct my issue. I will definitely call them again when I have electrician needs.

i had a great experience with On-Time Professionals. When I requested an estimate they responded quickly and got it done right away. The service was great originally we were going to go with a different place to replace our furnace, but they kept delaying and wouldn't communicate what was going on. Once we switch over to On Time Professional they had it all done in two days and did a great job.

We had On Time Professionals come out to inspect our furnace I could not be happier! The technician was very friendly and thorough. The scheduling was super easy online, and they even called before the technician came out to our home. They take payments via card right on-site which made paying for the service that much better. Very convenient and very pleased with the work overall!

They quoted me between $3,200 and $3,900 to wire a hot tub, ground my csst, and replace one light switch. Another electrical company came out and did it immediately for $640. I spoke to 2 other companies who said between $500 and $900. Unbelievable how much they tried to over charge. Do your research and get multiple quotes.

On Time emailed me an appointment confirmation with a picture of Jerry, the electrician who would be doing the work. He arrived exactly as scheduled, talked through everything with me thoroughly before doing any diagnosis, explained to me what he’d found and presented me with several different options ranging in price and complexity of work. He was able to come back the same day to complete the issues we had that were of immediate concern, was professional and friendly the entire time he was here and left his work areas clean and mess-free. We will definitely have them back to do the future work that is planned!

Very professional and friendly. They did a complete upgrade of the wiring to code both the house and garage. Very happy with the work.

Keith was given the task of finding an unknown short causing outage in a bedroom and the garage. He was all over the house and in the attic for several hours. He finally found the problem and fixed it. He also discovered an exposed outlet in the attic with bare wires. I gave him permission to fix it because it had the potential to cause a fire. His professionalism went beyond his obligation and I couldn't have been more grateful.

As their name indicates...tech was on time...even early. Polite, professional and gave me options. Work was done well and he explained everything and provided tips and educated me too. Seemed pricey for amount of work and time worked, but happy with final product. Recommend and would use again.

My tech was not only on time but was efficient, friendly and explained what he needed to do do get the exhaust fans running in our outdoor shed. The pricing was also great! He went above and beyond by grabbing a ladder to get our patio umbrella that had flown up on the roof and gotten tangled in the satellite dish while we were talking! I mean, what a guy! They will be my go-to anytime we need electrical work!
