I work in the Automotive Parts Industry. My job gives me insight to auto maintenance shops all over the Olympic and Quimper Peninsulas. You need to understand that Olympic Automotive is the best there is in our area. I have been maintaining my vehicles there since 2018 when I used them to troubleshoot and repair an intermittent check engine light. Since then we've done all kinds of work there, from; tune ups to head gasket replacements, AC system overhauls, steering gear repair, electronic communication problems (hybrid vehicle) just to mention a few. My vehicles cover years from 1991 to 2006 and they all run great thanks to these gentlemen. All three of the principle mechanics that were there in 2018 still work there today. They are consistently accurate and cost effective. Their technical expertise is very impressive, their years of experience and overall grasp of automotive engineering and precise execution of repairs and modifications serves their customers very well. And, they listen to you! You can travel farther and it's easy to pay more, but you can't do better than Olympic Automotive. Their quality and integrity is not exactly a secret, so you will have to schedule your work, but it's worth it to trust your vehicle to the best and hardest working automotive repair band in the business!

Honest. Diligent. Patient. Has always gotten me back up and running. They are busy! Be prepared to be scheduled out for longer than you may like. They're worth the wait, if you have a loaner vehicle. My dad has gone to Bob for years with his fleet of cars. Now my sister and I go to Bob and team. (Thanks again Jeremy & Tyler.)

Totally honest guy. Could have charged me through the roof but instead explained how I could fix my problem. He employs good people, too. Highly recommended.

Because there are only 2 reviews on here (mine and the other) I feel it necessary to state that this businesses is under new management from the previous post 7 years ago. Everyone is friendly honest and very competent from my experience. I dont hesitate to recommend someone to get work done here. (In fairness, I have a fairly recent working relationship with this shop also and am very pleased to have such)

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
