The Ohio Radon Mitigation team was phenomenal to work with. Jodi helped schedule our appointment along with the initial inspection. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our questions. The inspection gave us a lot of reassurance that their work is top notch and the job would be done professionally and accurately. Upon our scheduled installation date, Doug arrived promptly on time. Like Jodi, Doug was very passionate, knowledgeable, professional and super respectful. He did an amazing job installing the system in a very low intrusive way. Honestly, this team is incredible. Honestly didn't know what to expect since I have never dealt with Radon issues before, but working with Ohio Radon Mitigation was a smooth and easy process.

I highly recommend Ohio Radon Mitigation LLC to install a system that reduced our high Radon test numbers in the 60’s to below the acceptable number of 4. The Radon gas is sucked from beneath the basement floor, through the garage and the attic, and out the roof vent ( see photos). My stress level has been greatly reduced. I’m satisfied as well as relieved.

Jodi explained the adverse conditions we had and how they would use their system to reduce the radon in our home. Because of our situation she couldn’t guarantee a specific result but based upon their experience, believed they could reduce the radon levels from over 100 to below 10. Doug installed the system and explained what he was doing. We had prepared for lots of dust but he was very good and we had no clean up to do. Testing results revealed levels below 4. We are very pleased with the process and the results.

Great job. Jodi explains everything. My crawl space and basement were both mitigated. I should have done this sooner. My basement has reduced humidity and radon level dropped to safe levels almost immediately when the system was turned on . I was around 10 average now 0.6 or less. Price was right, workmanship was perfect using latest standard to cover sump pump and exhaust pipe was routed inside garage, so no big pipe on outside of house! Looks great. Tom L 4-14-25

Highly unprofessional. Would not recommend. Had to print off my own quote and send it back to the company cause they couldn't figure out how to get me a quote. When they had to pick up the radon test they asked if I would break down the system for them. When they originally could not find a time to come pickup their equipment they asked if they could have access to my house. The system does not actually bring down the radon to an acceptable level after everything was said and done. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Want to give a shout out to Jodi Reitz with Ohio Radon Mitigation. They gave us a quote last fall. We decided not to go forward at that time. We decided recently to revisit the idea. Had another company come out and they decided it was too difficult of a job for them. We contacted Jodi and told her we wanted to go forward with the install. (Of course with an updated cost for the year gap...lol)

I cannot speak highly enough of the Ohio Radon Mitigation team. Our new house tested “positive” for radon (15.6) and we wanted to have it mitigated. From our first conversation with Jodi via email to meeting her in person, I knew we’d found a great company. The installation team was prompt, courteous, and respectful. They treated our home like it was their own and made the system as unobtrusive as possible inside and out. Post mitigation testing showed radon levels had been reduced to 0.5. We had the radon levels independently tested a month later and they were 0.4. I highly recommend this company!

While our home had a mitigation and air exchange in place, I bought a monitor at Home Depot and got a reading in the high 20's!
I called Ohio Radon and Jodi dropped off a test to confirm, which established we were at 29.2 pCi L. I was obviously very concerned, as I thought our system was doing its job. As a first step, they installed a new fan on our existing system and the levels dropped to 16.8 pCiL. Better but not safe. We were planning on installing a second system but when Andy showed up, he had an idea for adjusting our Air Exchange system that had worked for him in the past. He made the adjustments and our levels dropped to 1.7 pCi L!! He could have just installed the new system as I requested, but instead he not only fixed the problem, he saved me the expense and cost himself the profit. I'd like to give them 10 stars. Can't recommend them more highly for your radon issues.

Called Ohio Radon Mitigation for some info and a quote on installing a Soil Gas Mitigation Fan/System and found out I was outside of their working area, even so I spoke to Jodi on 3 separate occasions in a 2 day period with questions that I had and she took valuable time out of her day to answer each and every question (and I had several ) . Jodi was very personable and kind and went above and beyond to answer every question and even took her time to find a couple companies closer to my area.

This was the most hassle free experience that I've ever had with a contractor. They were in and out in a day and it was if they hadn't been there at all. My basement has 4 rooms, it is an older basement (1821) and has about 7 feet of walking clearance. Im 6'6" and was worried that the radon system would create a lot of new places to hit my head, they recognized this durning their intial bid visit, so the crew installed it up between the floor joists and created zero head obstructions, I barely even noticed any of exhaust system in the ceiling, they cut and turned the pipes in such a precise way that its almost unnoticed. These guys were amazing. Highly recommend.
