Matt was very professional and polite with his work and attitude. He did an awesome job with taking down and removing the trees and debris from the yard and off the roof of the garage when the hurricane hit August of 2023. His price was affordable and fair. He did NOT over charge or take advantage of the circumstances. We thank you very much for a job well done.

He’s an extraordinary tree surgeon who’s literally at the top of his trade in skilled technicality. He’s so systematical throughout every move he makes. Matthew is an incredible worker and an incredible human being. He came to my rescue after Hurricane Idalia tore up multiple trees in my backyard breaking several sections of a brand new fence. He explained how he was going to remove each tree (he loves his work) and how long it would take him. His price was more than fair when you consider that his is licensed and insured. He cleans up after himself and leaves your yard spotless. I liked Matthew's work so much that I have him doing another project in my backyard. This time his gets to beautify my yard instead of rescuing my fence and my neighbors garage roof. It's not my fault blame the hurricane. Matt's a well mannered young man, my dog loves him and she's a great judge of character. I'm looking forward to the transformation that my backyard is about to experience.

Matt did a great job removing a large tree that was hanging over our house. His expertise and professionalism is a rare find. He completed the job on time, safely and for the estimated price. He was very easy to work with and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend him!

Matt just wrapped up a project at our home and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Three things in particular stand out the most: professionalism, work ethic, and dependability.
Since beginning the project Matt was very professional. Day 1 he detailed his plan for attacking the job. Everyday I was briefed on the previous days work, current progress, and the plan for the following day. I really liked getting daily updates on how the project was moving along.
Matt’s work ethic is second to none. He worked until dark everyday with the exception of an afternoon when we were under tornado watch. I can’t overstate his attention to detail. Matt doesn’t cut corners. I especially noticed this when the cleanup portion of the project began. After hauling off the timber he went back and raked up all the small stuff like pine bark. The backyard looked better after the job than it did before. His attention to detail was impressive.
Lastly, Matt is dependable. He always showed up on time and worked a full day. I never had to wonder if he was going to show up. I could depend not only on him being punctual, but also his quality of work. He was very mindful of our lawn not getting damaged in the process of removing trees. Every heavy branch was lowered by hand on a pulley carefully to the ground. Even when it came time to drop the heavy trunk sections he made sure there was a bed of debris for it to land on.
In summary, Matt is passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. He truly is a master of his craft. But most importantly, he is honest and has integrity, which I appreciate most of all. I would strongly recommend him for any job, big or small.

Matt's work is absolutely amazing! He and his helper took down a huge tree that was growing less than 3 feet away from the side of our house... a tree that was easily the height of our house three times over! His knowledge and his quiet confidence while explaining how he would accomplish this reduced our anxiety enormously. After finishing that first big tree he moved on to our next concern which was a stunning 400 year old live oak whose branches on one side had begun to seriously encroach on the houses roof. My husband and I (especially me) were adamant about maintaining the tree's natural beauty and intriguing old growth charm. Matt, our hero, did not disappoint... I could see the tree smiling when he was finished! We are looking forward to having Matt and his helpers back again soon to continue bringing the rest of trees the same joy. Matt with Oak Hinge is a perfectionist! I needed a large, very tall oak taken down in my backyard. He took his time and made sure not to damage my grass or other trees in the process. He paid attention to every detail, things I never even considered when taking down a tree. I would recommend this guy for any of your tree needs!
